This script is for three moving averages with as many features as I can possibly fit into a single moving average.
- Three moving averages (MA1, MA2, MA3).
- Standard MA inputs.
- MA type.
- MA period.
- MA price.
- MA resolution (time frame).
- Visibility toggle.
- MA Candle Type
- Fancy MA inputs.
- Toggle to show only candles included in the MA...
This indicator is measuring if three different moving average calculations (EMA,WMA,SMA) with the same period length are aligned in an uptrend. If this is the case then the bar is colored in green. If only one or two of the three moving averages signals an uptrend then the bar is colored in blue. This can mean that the trend is changing.

This indicator compares four different values :
-Fast Simple Moving Average(SMA)
-Fast Volume Weighted Moving Average(VWMA)
Comparing SMA's and VWMA's of the same length is a common trading tactic. Since volume is not taken into consideration when calculating Simple Moving Averages, we can gain valuable insights from the...
Generic 8x MA plotter. Marks all MA crossings.
Also, you can specify the type of MA -- SMA or EMA.
I actually added an option to disable a specific MA line by specifying ZERO for it. This seems to break the Pinescript Engine. So, for now, please specify all MA values, though I have support for disabling a line in the code.
It is all in one. You can use 5 moving average lines with this one indicator only.
The way is easy. Just add this one indicator. Continue to enter your favorite periods in the setting.
If there is unnecessary lines, just remove the check boxes.
Moving Average Ribbon:
A series of moving averages of different lengths to create a ribbon-like indicator. Traders can determine trend strength by the distance between the moving averages, the overall balance of the coloured lines and determine price points. Price movements through the ribbon can be...
Moving averages are perhaps the most popular indicator in technical analysis. But sometimes they're not the easiest to interpret.
This indicator helps you see the trend by coloring the MA based on its direction. It's green when rising and red when falling. Of course, you can easily change that in the Style tab under Settings.
Color MA also lets you select from...
I've been asking for this concept for a while, a simple MA that rides the top side of the trend instead of the bottom, and by accident came across the 'Hull ma' on a TV blog post. I've added another two simple Moving averages to act as strength indicator with close proximity to the price.
The strategy is simple MA cross over but with the early indication using...
This incredibly simple strategy uses a combination of the 20 EMA and bullish/bearish MACD crosses as a low risk method of getting in and out of markets.
Depending on whether the market is above or below the 200 SMA, the script determines if the market is in bullish or bearish territory. Above the 200 SMA, the script will ignore the 20 EMA as a buy condition and...
This Relative Strength Comparison (RSC) indicator overlays a simple moving average (SMA) of the prior days values and changes color when the RSC crosses above and below that value as an indicator with bearish and bullish signals in comparison to another symbol.
Fibonacci levels that show the critical top and bottom levels. There is no way to miss the top and bottom. And a top detector.
Also the most important SMA lines (SMA 50, 200), EMA21. Those are the most frequently used lines by traders.
This indicator is based on the work of www.tradingview.com
His work set me thinking. Could I also...
It is a long only strategy.
1. Buy when price breaks out of the upper band.
2. Exit has two options. Option 1 allows you to exit using lower band. Option 2 allows you to exit using moving average.
3. Option 1 preferred over option 2 if the instrument is highly volatile.
4. Slippage and commissions are not considered in the return calculation.
This script plots two moving averages but is mostly designed to highlight a fill strength gradient. The fill strength gradient shows a more opaque fill based on the current percentage difference of the current difference to the maximum difference in two MAs in a trend.

This indicator allows you to view a moving average (EMA or SMA) of your choosing on other time frames than what you are currently on.
The reason I wanted to develop this was for use as a filter. Let's say you wanted to make sure the daily time frame was trading above a certain moving average so you could be sure you were playing with the trend. But you wanted...
7, 30, 50, 100, 200 simple moving averages, bundled in one indicator (for users who are using the free TradingView service and can only load limited number of indicators at any given time).
You can turn each moving average on or off at will and change the colors.
This RSI indicator is one of my favorite indicators. This powerful indicator is implemented by Phi-Deltalytics. I modified the drawing so that it is easier (at least for me) to see the signals and trends (it would not matter if you're doing algorithmic trading).
Trends and signals. For detailed instructions and tutorial see Phi-Deltalytics page
Pinescript v3 Compatibility Framework (v4 Migration Tool)
This code makes most v3 scripts work in v4 with only a few minor changes below. Place the framework code before the first input statement.
You can totally delete all comments.
- to port to v4 you only need to make a few simple changes, not affecting the core v3 code functionality
