Algo Targets [Premium]The Algo Targets indicator includes a suite of tools that attempt to identify market maker liquidity targets in advance.
These levels can be used by traders to determine:
1. future support/resistance
2. entries/exits
3. directional bias
4. potential reversal levels
5. pullback targets
The script uses a proprietary prediction model based on specific candle sequences, historical moves and volatility projections.
These tools have been live tested across a variety of instruments and timeframes, but should be backtested against your preferred ticker for best performance.
Primary Features:
1. Anchors
Anchors are derived from a simple, but powerful, three-candle breakout pattern. We have found that this pattern, when combined with the relative position to previous Anchor patterns on the chart, gives us clues to predicting future price structure.
Common use case: The simplest way to trade Anchors is to know that price *almost always* makes a return visit. This can be a useful tool for reversal traders. Additionally, Anchors often occur just before strong directional momentum. This can be useful for trend traders looking for entry signals.
Power User feature: Projected Ranges can be enabled in Settings. Each Anchor provides a Retracement leg (measured as the midpoint between the last two Anchors) and an Expansion leg (measured as twice the size of the Retracement leg, projected in the opposite direction). If Projected Ranges are enabled, the directional bias is also highlighted within the range, making it easy to spot at a glance.
Caveats: Expansion legs require patience and solid risk management. Additionally, the Expansion leg contains an additional Trigger level which price MUST cross before we consider the Expansion leg to be "in play" as a valid price target. This Trigger is marked on each Expansion legs as a dotted line.
Please note, Anchors require a 3 candle lookback before they are printed to the chart.
2. Target Zones
Target Zones are an advanced feature, and can be enabled in the Settings panel.
Each Target Zone consists of three levels:
Trigger — This the level closest to the current price. We expect it to act as a support/resistance level until price breaks through.
Target — This is the level farthest from the price. This is how far price is likely to move AFTER crossing the Trigger.
Midpoint — This is the level between the Trigger and Target. If price enters a Target Zone and wicks off of the Midpoint line, it’s usually a reversal signal. In this case we would cut our trade, consider the Target “filled” and potentially enter a reversal trade.
Common use case: When prices crosses a Trigger into a Target Zone, we consider that Target level to be “unlocked.” Our expectation is that price will gravitate toward the Target.
Power User feature: There are many strategies that a trader can build around Target Zones. One of our favorites is to use Targets strictly as reversal entries. On ranging days, price will often wick off of a Target level, before making a quick move in the opposite direction.
Caveats: After a Target is unlocked, it may be reached within the next few bars, or it may be saved by the market algorithms for later. Keep an eye on the Midpoint for potential reversals, and as always, proper risk management is key.
IMPORTANT: The presence of a Target Zone on the chart is neither bullish not bearish by itself. We consider the Target to be in play if, AND ONLY IF, price has crossed the Trigger level.
3. Pullback Levels
Pullback Levels are algorithmically detected return levels. They usually act as a strong draw on price, and often appear just before a pullback in price.
Common use case: The simplest way to use Pullbacks is to look for ones that have not been filled, either from a previous day or in after-hours/pre-market. We use them for confirmation bias along with Anchors and unlocked Targets.
Power User feature: For day trading, we set Alerts on our favorite tickers for any detected Pullbacks on the 5 min chart. This usually gives us plenty of time to review the chart for a possible day trade entry.
Settings:
All features are customizable, including color, line length and visibility. This lets you keep your chart as clean as you like, while only displaying additional data when it is needed.
Alerts:
Alerts can be set for all features, with the ability to set bearish and bullish alerts separately, depending on your trading preference. It is recommended to use "Once Per Bar Close" when you create an alert.

Liquidity Sweeps and RaidsThis basic script calculates and plots runs on liquidity levels through Raids and Sweeps. When the price violates the 3 fractal level, a raid or sweep occurs. You can use it to automate markup, understand liquidity levels, and reduce human error in your analysis. Additionally, you can set up an alarm to notify you when new sweeps or raids occur. Combine it with your current strategy or try any price action theory you prefer. Essentially, the price always seeks liquidity, so when some of it is taken, it makes sense to look for a reaction and potential reversal. Benefits & Examples:
In the image below the indicator signaled multiple entries based on two simple confluence filters, a MS reversal (CHoCH/MSS) and a Liquidity Raid. Going from left to right we can see a short entry at the highs with a supporting Order Block. Liquidity levels are taken before we see a double IDM right below the respected OB that leads to the next signaled entry. In the middle of the chart we see a long entry that leads right into a short entry showing the effectiveness of such a simple model.
In this supporting image we are showcasing the first implementation of the Trade Overlay feature. This feature displays the Entry and Stop Loss to make it more visible and adds a risk to reward target. Additionally displayed is the SMC Toolkit indicator showing us additional confirmation with our signaled entries playing right out of a higher timeframe FVG.
An additional entry feature is the MTF zone. Setups can form on all timeframes and subjecting yourself to only one may lead you to miss out on some perfect setups or a larger move. In the image below we are on the 1 minute timeframe. We can see the Initial Reversal Entry which played out beautifully and filled a higher timeframe SFVG. With the MTF zone we can see a 3 minute and 5 minute Zone which produces the rest of the trend reaching another higher timeframe SFVG after filling the previous one. Once again showing the benefit of the Toolkit indicator but the plotted entries from such a simple model.
In addition to the model indicators filtered out entry zone, we can use additional confluences to confirm these entries. In the image below we can see a short entry printed after a move out of the Std. Dev. vwap wave which shows over extension. Taking the entry we can have a tight stop loss at the vwap wave or the recent high where we have a liquidity level, targeting a lower liquidity level or higher timeframe FVG.
For this example we are only filtering based on MS Reversals (CHoCH/MSS) to get our entries. Because of this we need additional confirmation to be confident in taking the plotted entry. In the image below you can see a long signal printed, confirmation being the previous Failed Reversal.
Liquidity Grab ReversalIndicator looks for liquidity grab & reversal trades on any timeframe. These types of trades reveal how the big institutions, banks and hedge funds trade with big money. If they want their very big positions to be filled they need to find areas in chart where the majority of the money is sitting. Where is it? Where is the majority of orders placed? Right below supports or right above resistances, these orders are stoplosses or stop orders. So they need to push the price to these areas, take all the available stoplosses and trigger all the available stop orders in order to fill their positions and then push the price to the opposite side to make profit (and retail to lose).
Indicator looks for support or resistance (S/R) areas which are represented by dotted lines. This S/R areas are created by minimum of 2 pivot high/low (H/L). Every pivot H/L that creates the S/R area is marked with diamond label. This S/R area is called liquidity. After liquidity is created, indicator looks for liquidity grab (mostly represented by fast spike to this area) and then price should go fast to the opposite side. This behaviour can be called reversal after liquidity grab. If we want to participate in the reversal we can put stop order at high of the candle that grabbed the support/liquidity if it is long liquidity grab or at low of the candle that grabbed the resistance/liquidity if it is short liquidity grab. These entry points are represented by solid lines. Stoplosses can be placed to the local maximum/minimum created after liquidity grab - so if entry is at high of the liquidity grab candle then stoploss can be put at low of the structure created after liquidity grab.
In settings of the indicator you can set whether only long or only short liquidity grabs are shown. Long liquidity grabs are green and short ones are red.
You can adjust core settings of the indicator:
Liquidity H/Ls Look Back/Forward Period: For PIVOT HIGH there has to be X (by default 1) candle/s lower to the left and X (by default 1) candle/s lower to the right and vice versa for PIVOT LOW,
Liquidity Grab by Close or High/Low.
Wyckoff Range StrategyThe Wyckoff Range Strategy is a trading strategy that aims to identify potential accumulation and distribution phases in the market using the principles of Wyckoff analysis. It also incorporates the detection of spring and upthrust patterns.
Here's a step-by-step explanation of how to use this strategy:
Understanding Accumulation and Distribution Phases:
Accumulation Phase: This is a period where smart money (large institutional traders) accumulates a particular asset at lower prices. It is characterized by a sideways or consolidating price action.
Distribution Phase: This is a period where smart money distributes or sells a particular asset at higher prices. It is also characterized by a sideways or consolidating price action.
Input Variables:
crossOverLength: This variable determines the length of the moving average crossover used to identify accumulation and distribution phases. You can adjust this value based on the market you are trading and the time frame you are analyzing.
stopPercentage: This variable determines the percentage used to calculate the stop loss level. It helps you define a predefined level at which you would exit a trade if the price moves against your position.
Strategy Conditions:
Enter Long: The strategy looks for a crossover of the close price above the SMA of the close price with a length of crossOverLength and a crossover of the low price above the SMA of the low price with a length of 20. So far, I haven't come across a good DCA strategy based on TA orders, so I created my own. I was troubled by my prolonged exposure to red bags, but with proper configuration, this strategy should get you out of the trade as soon as possible. I have managed to enter most of the good coins at an unbeatable average trade time and also eliminate the maximum trade time to less than 10 days !

🔶 USAGE
By default, the indicator displays each feature relevant to the most recent price variations in order to avoid clutter on the chart & to provide a very similar experience to how a user would contruct ICT Concepts by hand.
Users can use the historical mode in the settings to see historical market structure/imbalances. The ICT Concepts indicator has various use cases, below we outline many examples of how a trader could find usage of the features together.
In the above image we can see price took out Sellside liquidity, filled two bearish FVGs, a market structure shift, which then led to a clean retest of a bullish FVG as a clean setup to target the order block above.
Price then fills the OB which creates a breaker level as seen in yellow.
Broken OBs can be useful for a trader using the ICT Concepts indicator as it marks a level where orders have now been filled, indicating a solidified level that has proved itself as an area of liquidity. In the image above we can see a trade setup using a broken bearish OB as a potential entry level.
We can see the New Week Opening Gap (NWOG) above was an optimal level to target considering price may tend to fill / react off of these levels according to ICT.
In the next image above, we have another example of various use cases where the ICT Concepts indicator hypothetically allow traders to find key levels & find optimal entry points using market structure.
In the image above we can see a bearish Market Structure Shift (MSS) is confirmed, indicating a potential trade setup for targeting the Balanced Price Range imbalance (BPR) below with a stop loss above the buyside liquidity.
Although what we are demonstrating here is a hindsight example, it shows the potential usage this toolkit gives you for creating trading plans based on ICT Concepts.
Same chart but playing out the history further we can see directly after price came down to the Sellside liquidity & swept below it...
Then by enabling IFVGs in the settings, we can see the IFVG retests alongside the Sellside & Buyside liquidity acting in confluence.
Which allows us to see a great bullish structure in the market with various key levels for potential entries.
Here we can see a potential bullish setup as price has taken out a previous Sellside liquidity zone and is now retesting a NWOG + Volume Imbalance.
Users also have the option to display Fibonacci retracements based on market structure, order blocks, and imbalance areas, which can help place limit/stop orders more effectively as well as finding optimal points of interest beyond what the primary ICT Concepts features can generate for a trader.
In the above image we can see the Fibonacci extension was selected to be based on the NWOG giving us some upside levels above the buyside liquidity.
🔶 DETAILS
Each feature within the ICT Concepts indicator is described in the sub sections below.
🔹 Market Structure
Market structure labels are constructed from price breaking a prior swing point. This allows a user to determine the current market trend based on the price action.
There are two types of Market Structure labels included:
Market Structure Shift (MSS)
Break Of Structure (BOS)
A MSS occurs when price breaks a swing low in an uptrend or a swing high in a downtrend, highlighting a potential reversal. This is often labeled as "CHoCH", but ICT specifies it as MSS.
On the other hand, BOS labels occur when price breaks a swing high in an uptrend or a swing low in a downtrend. The occurrence of these particular swing points is caused by retracements (inducements) that highlights liquidity hunting in lower timeframes.
🔹 Order Blocks
More significant market participants (institutions) with the ability of placing large orders in the market will generally place a sequence of individual trades spread out in time. This is referred as executing what is called a "meta-order".
Order blocks highlight the area where potential meta-orders are executed. Bullish order blocks are located near local bottoms in an uptrend while bearish order blocks are located near local tops in a downtrend.
When price mitigates (breaks out) an order block, a breaker block is confirmed. We can eventually expect price to trade back to this breaker block offering a new trade opportunity.
🔹 Buyside & Sellside Liquidity
Buyside / Sellside liquidity levels highlight price levels where market participants might place limit/stop orders.
Buyside liquidity levels will regroup the stoploss orders of short traders as well as limit orders of long traders, while Sellside liquidity levels will regroup the stoploss orders of long traders as well as limit orders of short traders.
These levels can play different roles. More informed market participants might view these levels as source of liquidity, and once liquidity over a specific level is reduced it will be found in another area.
🔹 Imbalances
Imbalances highlight disparities between the bid/ask, these can also be defined as inefficiencies, which would suggest that not all available information is reflected by the price and would as such provide potential trading opportunities.
It is common for price to "rebalance" and seek to come back to a previous imbalance area.
ICT highlights multiple imbalance formations:
Fair Value Gaps: A three candle formation where the candle shadows adjacent to the central candle do not overlap, this highlights a gap area.
Implied Fair Value Gaps: Unlike the fair value gap the implied fair value gap has candle shadows adjacent to the central candle overlapping. The gap area is constructed from the average between the respective shadow and the nearest extremity of their candle body.
Balanced Price Range: Balanced price ranges occur when a fair value gap overlaps a previous fair value gap, with the overlapping area resulting in the imbalance area.
Volume Imbalance: Volume imbalances highlight gaps between the opening price and closing price with existing trading activity (the low/high overlap the previous high/low).
Opening Gap: Unlike volume imbalances opening gaps highlight areas with no trading activity. The low/high does not reach previous high/low, highlighting a "void" area.
🔹 Displacement
Displacements are scenarios where price forms successive candles of the same sentiment (bullish/bearish) with large bodies and short shadows.
These can more technically be identified by positive auto correlation (a close to open change is more likely to be followed by a change of the same sign) as well as volatility clustering (large changes are followed by large changes).
Displacements can be the cause for the formation of imbalances as well as market structure, these can be caused by the full execution of a meta order.
🔹 Kill Zones
Killzones represent different time intervals that aims at offering optimal trade entries. Killzones include:
- New York Killzone (7:9 ET)
- London Open Killzone (2:5 ET)
- London Close Killzone (10:12 ET)
- Asian Killzone (20:00 ET)
🔶 Conclusion & Supplementary Material
This script aims to emulate how a trader would draw each of the covered features on their chart in the most precise representation to how it's actually taught by ICT directly.
There are many parallels between ICT Concepts and Smart Money Concepts that we released in 2022 which has a more general & simpler usage:
ICT Concepts, however, is more specifically aligned toward the community's interpretation of how to analyze price 'based on ICT', rather than displaying features to have a more classic interpretation for a technical analyst.
Price Action [SignalCave]Liquidation prices are calculated with Higher Timeframe usage of "Williams Fractals" indicator.

Bars are painted based on asset's momentum. The asset momentum is calculated by the RSI and ADX indicators.
Volume profile shows trade activity during the "Premium and Discount" zone.

How can Higher highs and Lower lows and liquidity levels benefit traders?
HHLL refers to a series of higher highs and lower lows in an asset's price trend, which can indicate a potential reversal in the trend. Liquidity, on the other hand, refers to the ease with which an asset can be bought or sold without affecting its price. HHLL can help traders identify potential trends, while liquidity can ensure that trades can be executed smoothly and without significant price impact.
How can traders use this indicator?
Traders can use the indicator to identify potential market trends and market momentum. When the indicator show a series of higher highs and higher lows it can show a possible uptrend, meanwhile a series of lower lows and lower highs could show a possible uptrend with liquidity to confirm their trading decisions.
The script could also capture hidden support and resistance levels by showing areas where liquidity is concentrated and where price has repeatedly made higher highs and lower lows.

Buyside/Sellside Liquidity [Real-Time] (Expo)█ Overview
Buyside/Sellside Liquidity (Expo) is an indicator that identifies buy-side and sell-side liquidity in real time. Buy-side liquidity represents a level on the chart where short sellers will have their stops positioned. Sell-side liquidity represents a level on the chart where long-buyers will place their stops. These levels are found in areas where traders are "proven wrong" and, therefore, want to get out of their trades. Smart money will accumulate or distribute positions near these levels where many stops are placed and absorb all provided liquidity.
█ What is Buy-side and Sell-side liquidity?
Liquidity is the ability of a market to absorb large orders without significantly affecting the asset's price. Buy-side liquidity refers to the ability of buyers to buy large amounts of contracts without significantly affecting the price. Sell-side liquidity refers to the ability of sellers to sell large amounts of contracts without significantly affecting the price. This type of liquidity is important for large institutional investors, such as hedge funds and investment banks, who need to buy/sell large amounts of contracts without significantly affecting the price.
█ How to use
The price will always seek liquidity to either reverse or continue in the current move.
Reversals
Reversals are common around these levels since many traders are forced to close their positions, pushing the price in the other direction. Look for price actions that confirm a reversal around those levels.
Continuations
Liquidity is also a must for a trend to continue. If the price pushes through the liquidity levels and the current order flow structure is intact, traders should look for a continuation setup.
Inducement
Inducement is the act where smart money manipulates the price to access liquidity. Buy-side and Sell-side liquidity levels can be used to identify potential areas of inducement.

Market Interest ZoneGeneral description
The Market Interest Zone (MI Zone) indicator is designed to facilitate market analysis and meet the needs of most traders by building zones that can act as support or resistance.
The logic of each MI Zone is based on the culminating increase in volume (the analysis of such volume is done by comparing the volume of each candle with the SMA plotted for a certain period with the input volume data). This logic is not very useful in the middle of a pulse, so by comparing the OHLC of candles, the indicator builds such zones only on local pulse extremes. The indicator also has a built-in super trend indicator that acts as a trend filter. We have compared many technical indicators that can help filter zones, but in our opinion, super trend shows the best results due to more flexible settings compared to moving average. Each drawn Japanese candlestick is an independent zone from which you can open a position with a limit order and close a position, depending on the trader's usual risk management.
In this version of the indicator, only the D1 timeframe is available, but it is enough for long-term trades
The indicator has two modes:
Trend/Reversal - in which absolutely all zones are displayed;
Trend - which displays only those zones that have passed the filter in the direction of the current trend;
Opening a position with a market order when a zone of interest appears is not part of the strategy's logic, as it increases the commission and limits the trading potential. However, if you understand the market context, then such an entry with a market order can be realized.
In cases when the candle that formed the zone is quite volatile and has a large spread, it is permissible to place a limit order for 50% of this zone.
Examples of using a trading strategy
As we wrote earlier, each Japanese candlestick drawn is an independent zone that can be worked with without additional conditions and understanding of the context. The MI Zone appears under certain conditions, when the second candlestick closes after the zone itself. After that, you can place a limit order at the high/low of this zone (depending on the direction) + a protective stop order on the opposite side of the zone.

Risk management strategy
Fixing positions is recommended when the RR reaches 1:3 to 1:5. It is also possible to split a position, the second part of which will be fixed at more global levels.
In the above examples, position fixation is shown exclusively at global levels. In real trading, we recommend closing part of the position when local levels are reached.
Also, when RR 1:1 is reached, it is recommended to move the stop loss to breakeven.
Conclusion
It is important to understand that this logic can have different meanings depending on the financial instrument used. Therefore, we recommend performing a basic backtest of the methods of use and risk management parameters before using the indicator directly.

For markets to move up and down a break in market structure must occur. A break in market structure occurs when the market begins to shift direction and break the previous HH and HL or HL and LL of the market. We also integrated the feature that you can see the BOS lines. In the indicator settings you can adjust the color of the label.
Settings
SwingHigh/Low Length: Allows the user to select Historical (default) or Present, which displays only recent data on the chart.
Supply/demand box width: Allows user to change the size of the supply and demand box
History to keep: allows the user to select how many most recent supply & demand box appear on the chart.

ICT Anchored IPDA RangesThis script is an anchored variation of my "ICT IPDA Look Back" script. Similarly, it calculates ICT's daily IPDA look back time intervals and their respective discount / equilibrium / premium; however, it also applies the Forward Cast IPDA daily ranges.
The Forward Cast can be used to estimate the time at which IPDA might initiate a change in institutional order flow. This depends on several factors such as time of the year, and time of daily structure break.

IPDA stands for Interbank Price Delivery Algorithm. Said algorithm appears to be referencing the past 20, 40 , and 60 days intervals as points of reference to define ranges and related PD arrays.
Intraday traders can find most value in the 20 Day Look Back box, by observing imbalances and points of interest.
Longer term traders can reference the 40 and 60 Day Look Back boxes for a clear indication of current market conditions.

3Commas Bot DCA Backtester & Signals FREEThis is a DCA Strategy backtester + signals, built to emulate the 3Commas DCA bots. It uses your choice of 4 different buy signals, 2 of which can be adjusted in the settings. Everything is customizable so you can backtest specific settings with different buy signals and find the best performing strategy for your risk tolerance and capital. It can be used to backtest strategies on stocks as well, but just make sure your base order is larger than the share price for the entire backtesting range or it will not calculate properly.
You can use this template to code your own buy signals and then backtest them as a DCA strategy if you know some basic pine script.
The indicator shows all of your backtesting orders on the chart. The red line is your take profit level, the blue line is your average price level, the white line is your first order and the green lines are your average down orders. If you enable a stop loss in the settings your stop loss will be shown as an orange line once all of your average down orders have been hit, it will not be set until price has dipped below your covered trading range.
These levels update when things change during backtesting so you can visualize your strategy and how it would perform as well as see if your percentage deviation is large enough to cover dips. When backtesting trades are taken, the chart will show where they were taken(in backtesting) along with info on those trades such as the number each order is, the size of that order and the percentage deviation that order is from the initial buy.
SENDING SIGNALS TO 3COMMAS
Tradingview cannot sync this backtester to 3Commas and with the way alerts are setup for strategies on Tradingview, the best option for you to give signals to your bot would be to use this backtester to figure out what trigger you want to use and then setup that indicator separately to send alerts to your bot. All of the indicators used for signals in this backtester are available for free and can be configured to match this backtester and send alerts to 3Commas for you. Just make sure you set your alerts to once per bar close and don’t use less than a 15 second timeframe because then you could trigger the Tradingview threshold for alerts and get your alerts shut off.
You can also use this backtester with your own buy triggers if you know a little pine script. Just make copy of the script and code in your own buy signals and see how it backtests.
INFO PANEL FOR ANALYZING YOUR STRATEGY
The right hand side of the screen will show an info panel that shows a lot of different information so you can quickly see your bot settings and how it performed right on the screen.
In the top right corner you will see in purple your bot settings. These include your stoploss % if turned on, take profit %, average down order %, average down order % multiplier, volume multiplier, max number of orders allowed and size of your base order.
The top section of the first column “Current Trade” shows these stats: the open trade’s average price, the open trade’s take profit price, the open trade’s PNL, how far price is from your open tarde’s take profit level in percentage, your open position size and number of open orders.
The bottom section of the first column “Overall Performance” shows these stats: total number of trades taken during backtesting range, the largest amount of trades that were open at one time during backtesting, the max drawdown, the average number of bars per trade, gross profit, net profit, percent profit from your initial capital, current portfolio value and your initial capital.
CUSTOMIZABLE OPTIONS TO FIND THE PERFECT STRATEGY
Stoploss On/Off
This will turn your stoploss on or off. By default it is set to off and will not affect anything unless turned on.
Stoploss Percentage
This is the percentage below your final average down order price that will be set as a stoploss to keep your account from going too far in the red on big dips.
Take Profit Percentage - This is the percentage of profit you want the trade to hit before taking profit on your entire DCA trade. This level updates everytime you average down.
Average Down Percentage - This is the percentage that price has to drop from your initial order to initiate your first safety order. If the Average Down Percent Multiplier is set to 1 then this percentage will be the same for every average down order.
Average Down Percentage Multiplier - This multiplies your Average Down Percentage so each safety order needs a larger percentage deviation than the previous one. This keeps your buys closer together at the beginning and further apart when you hit more orders so you can extend your trading range but still be aggressive when price is going sideways.
Volume Multiplier Per New Order - This multiplies the size of each trade based on your base order. If you set it to a 2x multiplier then each average down order will be 2 times the size of the last one. So for example, a $100 base order with a 2x multiplier would have these values for the first 3 average down orders: 200, 400, 800.
Size Of Base Order - This is the size of your first position entry and will be used as a starting point for the volume multiplier. If your base order is $100 then it will buy $100 worth of whatever crypto you are backtesting this on. If you are looking at stock charts, you need to make sure your base order is higher than the share price across the entire backtesting range or it will not perform correctly.
Max Number Of Orders - This is the maximum number of orders the bot can take, including your base order. Adjust this to suit the amount of capital you are willing to allocate to your bot based on how much money it will require to run according to your bot settings.
TIPS ON HOW TO USE FOR BEST RESULTS
If you don’t have a lot of capital to work with, then use longer timeframes with a reasonable take profit percentage so that you don’t need a lot of average down orders. You can also try keeping the volume multiplier close to 1.
You can use the 3Commas dca bot settings page to see how much capital you will need for your strategy if you match it to the settings you have on this indicator. You can also check to see how much of a percentage deviation your bot is covering to make sure you have a reasonable range to trade in and orders to cover big dips. You can also check your coverage by seeing how far down the chart the green lines cover, which are your average down orders.
Make sure the initial capital in the properties tab of the settings has enough to cover all of your orders otherwise you will get unrealistic backtesting results. Also, make sure you leave the order size in the properties tab on contracts so it calculates your trades correctly. The only settings you need to touch in the properties tab is the initial capital. Unless you are trading somewhere that has lower commission fees, then you can change that to match, but leave all the other settings as is for it to function properly.
Increasing the volume multiplier will make your average price and take profit target follow the price action a lot closer as price falls, but it can also lead to having very large orders very quickly once you get into the 1.5-3x multiple range. Try using a high volume multiplier with less safety orders and you will get better results, however you need to have money on the sidelines to add on major dips to keep your bot turning a profit. Be very careful with this as greed and impatience will hurt your overall performance. This bot is meant to make money with lots of small wins so don’t get greedy and make sure you have enough money to cover large dips. If you are being aggressive with your bot, then I recommend only using 25% or less of your portfolio to trade aggressively and then use the smart trade feature on 3commas to add chunks of funds to your trades when price dips below your last safety order. Or if you want it to run without any supervision, then use lower volume multipliers and have lots of safety orders that can cover entire bear markets and still keep buying lower.
It’s a good idea to have some capital on the sidelines that you can add in when price dips quickly. This will help lower your average price and allow your bot to get out in profit quicker. 3Commas bot has a smart trade feature that will allow you to track your average price when adding extra funds and it will automatically update your other orders which is very convenient. Look at the longer timeframes when price dips and only add chunks at major areas where price is very likely to bounce. Or you can be aggressive when trading and add to your position when price dips and is at a likely bounce zone to maximize profits.
Only trade coins that have a good amount of liquidity as the larger your orders get, the harder it will be to sell if there isn’t much liquidity. Also, beware of how large your first order is as it will usually be a market order and can move the market if there is not much liquidity.
Since this bot takes a lot of trades and performs best when taking small profits consistently, you will need to factor in exchange fees. The bot is set to .5% commission(you can change this) on the buy and sell orders as most exchanges charge that amount. Some exchanges offer no fee trading on certain coins so be sure to look around for those so you can keep the commissions and maximize profits.
I strongly encourage you to try out a lot of different setting combinations across multiple different coins and do it across a few months to see how it would have performed under various market conditions. This will help you get a better idea of how much of a percentage deviation you’ll need to be able to cover to keep your bot running and making constant profits. You can also use the deep backtesting feature of the strategy panel to see how it would have done, but just beware that the info panel of the indicator will not reflect deep backtesting results, only the normal backtesting range.
MARKETS
This backtester can be used on any market including crypto, stocks, forex & futures. You just need to make sure your base order is larger than the share price when using this on things besides crypto.
TIMEFRAMES
This backtester can be used on all timeframes.

The script works with whatever timezone setting, however make sure to change your timezone to New York time if you want to have the proper time-price alignment (I personally find it helpful when studying).

This indicator plots a heatmap of resting liquidity above and below swing lows and multiple timeframes
The darker the color is or the larger the zone is, the more liquidity is lying there. If you think there are too many zones, you can increase the timeframes in the settings or just disable it.
Liquidity simply means orders such as stoplosses, buy/sell stops.

Automatic Order Block + Imbalance by D. BrigagliaThis script combines automatic orderblock and imbalance tracking.

Please note that the actual definitions of orderblock and imbalance are not respected in this script for the sake of simplicity. Scripts that are too complex may overfit some particular chart. Since there is no way to translate the actual ob and imb definitions into pinescript language, I decided to keep it simple.
Ideally, you want to see a bullish OB followed by buy side imbalance, or viceversa. OBs that are broken weakly are generally invalidated, ones that are broken strongly generally become breakers, and you can use them as good support/resistance levels.
Also, a good thing you can do when an OB and an imbalance match, is going in the lower timeframes and catching the structure reversal in the OB or imbalance zone. That may provide excellent RR trades. Always trade with OB that confirm the HTF trend.
