This figure fell short of market expectations, which had anticipated a growth of 130,000. The release of the ADP report followed Tuesday's unveiling of the Labor Department's JOLTS job openings number for October. Surprisingly, this figure reached its lowest point since March 2021, plummeting to 8.73 million from a downwardly revised 9.35 million in September.
