During the first half of the European session, the value of this precious metal remains low, staying below the significant $2,000 mark, due to an increase in US Dollar (USD) buying. The release of the US monthly jobs report on Friday, which exceeded expectations, led investors to reduce their expectations of an early easing of policies by the Federal Reserve (Fed). As a result, there has been a recovery in US Treasury bond yields, which in turn strengthens the dollar and weakens demand for commodities priced in USD.
