Volume+The enhanced Volume+ Indicator is a valuable tool that builds upon the traditional Volume indicator by incorporating a technique known as linear prediction.
In traditional Volume analysis, the volume data for a bar is only known once the bar has closed. However, with the enhanced Volume+ Indicator, we utilize linear prediction to estimate the closing volume of the k-bar before it actually closes. This estimation is based on historical volume observed in the market.
By employing this indicator, traders and investors can gain an early insight into the potential volume of the current bar, even before it concludes. This can be particularly useful for those who wish to make informed decisions based on volume analysis and its impact on price movements.

Price & Volume Profile (Expo)█ Overview
The Price & Volume Profile provides a holistic perspective on market dynamics by simultaneously tracking price action and trading volume across a range of price levels. So it is not only a volume-based indicator but also a price-based one. In addition to illustrating volume distribution, it quantifies how frequently the price has fallen within a particular range, thus offering a holistic perspective on market dynamics.
This unique and comprehensive approach to market analysis by considering both price action and trading volume, two crucial dimensions of market activity. Its distinctive methodology offers several advantages:
Holistic Market View: By simultaneously tracking the frequency of specific price ranges (Price Profile) and the volume traded at those ranges (Volume Profile), this indicator provides a more complete picture of market behavior. It shows not only where the market is trading but also how much it's trading, reflecting both price acceptance levels and market participation intensity.
Point of Control (POC): The POC, as highlighted by this indicator, serves as a significant reference point for traders. It identifies the price level with the highest trading activity, thus indicating a strong consensus among market participants about the asset's fair value. Observing how price interacts with the POC can offer valuable insights into market sentiment and potential trend reversals.
Support and Resistance Levels: Price levels with high trading activity often act as support or resistance in future price movements. The indicator visually represents these levels, enabling traders to anticipate potential price reactions.
Price Profile
Price and Volume Profile
█ Calculations
The algorithm analyzes both trade frequency and volume across different price levels. It identifies these levels within the visible chart range, then examines each bar to determine if the selected price falls within these levels. If so, it increases a counter and adds the trading volume. This process repeats across the visible range and is visualized as a horizontal histogram, each bar representing a price level and the bar length reflecting trade frequency and volume. Additionally, it calculates the Point of Control (POC), signifying the price level with the highest activity.
In summary: The histogram presents a dual perspective - not only the traded volume at each price level but also the frequency of the price hitting each range. The longer the bar, the more times the price has frequented that specific range, revealing key insights into price behavior and acceptance levels. These frequently visited areas often emerge as strong support or resistance zones, helping traders navigate market movements.
Please note that the indicator adjusts to the visible price range, making it adaptable to changing market conditions. This dynamic analysis can provide more relevant and timely information than static indicators.
█ How to use
This indicator is beneficial for traders as it offers insights into the distribution of trading activity across different price levels. It helps identify key areas of support and resistance and gives a visual representation of market sentiment and liquidity.
The point of control (POC) , which is the price level with the highest traded volume or frequency count, becomes even more crucial in this context. It marks the price at which the most trading activity occurred, signaling a strong consensus among market participants about the asset's fair value. If the market price deviates significantly from the POC, it could suggest an overbought or oversold condition, potentially leading to a price reversion.
Fair Price Areas/gaps are specific price levels or zones where an asset has spent limited time in the past. These areas are considered interesting or significant because they may have an impact on future price action.
Similar to the concept of fair value gaps, which refers to discrepancies between an asset's market price and its estimated intrinsic value, Fair Price Areas/gaps focus on price levels that have been relatively underutilized in terms of trading activity. When an asset's price reaches a Fair Price Area/gap, traders and investors pay attention because they expect the price to react in some way. The rationale behind this concept is that price tends to gravitate towards areas where it has spent less time in the past, as the market perceives them as significant levels.
█ Settings
The indicator is customizable, allowing users to define the number of price levels (rows), the offset, the data source, and whether to display volume or frequency count. It also adjusts dynamically to the visible price range on the chart, ensuring that the analysis remains relevant and timely with changing market conditions.
Source: The price to use for the calculation. Typically, this is the closing price. By considering the user-selected Source (typically the closing price), the indicator determines the frequency with which the price lands within each designated price level (row) over the selected period. In essence, the indicator provides a count of bars where the Source price falls within each range, essentially creating a "Price Profile."
Row Size: The number of price levels (rows) to divide the visible price range into.
Display: Choose whether to display the number of bars ("Counter") or the total volume ("Volume") for each price level.
Offset: The distance of the histogram from the price chart.
Point of Control (POC): If enabled, the indicator will highlight the price level with the most activity.

Discrete Fourier Transformed Money Flow IndexThe Discrete Fourier Transform Money Flow Index indicator integrates the Money Flow Index (MFI) with Discrete Fourier Transform (credit to author wbburgin - May 26 2023 ) smoothing to offer a refined and smoothed depiction of the MFI's underlying trend. The MFI is calculated using the formula: MFI = 100 - (100 / (1 + MR)), where a high MFI value indicates robust buying pressure (signaling an overbought condition), and a low MFI value indicates substantial selling pressure (signaling an oversold condition).
Why is the DFT and MFI combined?
The aim of this combination between DFT and MFI is to effectively filter out short-term fluctuations and noise, enabling a clearer assessment of the overall trend. This smoothing process enhances the reliability of the MFI by emphasizing dominant and sustained buying or selling pressures. This script executes a full DFT but only uses filtering from one frequency component. The choice to focus on the magnitude at index 0 is significant as it captures the dominant or fundamental frequency in the data. By analyzing this primary cyclic behavior, we can identify recurring patterns and potential turning points more easily. This streamlined approach simplifies interpretation and enhances efficiency by reducing complexity associated with multiple frequency components. Overall, focusing on the dominant frequency and applying it to the MFI provides a concise and actionable assessment of the underlying data.
Note: The FMFI indicator provides both smoothed and non-smoothed versions of the MFI, with the option to toggle the original non-smoothed MFI on or off in the settings.
Application
FMFI functions as a trend-following indicator. Bullish trends are denoted by the color white, while bearish trends are represented by the color purple. Circles plotted on the FMFI indicate regular bull and bear signals. Additionally, red arrows indicate a strong negative trend, while green arrows indicate a strong positive trend. These arrows are calculated based on the presence of regular bull and bear signals within overbought and oversold zones. To enhance its effectiveness, it is recommended to combine this indicator with other complementary technical analysis tools and integrate it into a comprehensive trading strategy. Traders are encouraged to explore a wide range of settings and timeframes to align the indicator with their unique trading preferences and adapt it to the current market conditions. By doing so, traders can optimize the indicator's performance and increase their potential for successful trading outcomes.
Utility
Traders and investors can employ this indicator to enhance their trend-following strategies. The white-colored components of the FMFI can help identify potential buying zones, while the purple-colored components can assist in identifying potential selling points. The red and green arrows can be used to pinpoint moments of strong bull or bear momentum, allowing traders to position themselves advantageously in their trading activities. Please note that future performance of any trading strategy is fundamentally unknowable, and past results do not guarantee future performance.
Volume Forks [Trendoscope]🎲 Volume Forks - Advanced Price Analysis with Recursive Auto-Pitchfork and Angled Volume Profile
The Volume Forks Indicator is a comprehensive research tool that combines two innovative techniques, Recursive Auto-Pitchfork and Angled Volume Profile . This indicator provides traders with valuable insights into price dynamics by integrating accurate pitchfork drawing and volume analysis over angled levels. The indicator does following things
Detects Pitchfork formations automatically on the chart over Recursive Zigzag
Instead of drawing forks based on fib levels, volume distribution over ABC of pitchfork is calculated and drawn in the direction of the handle.
🎲 Brief about Pitchfork
Pitchfork is drawn when price forms ABC pattern. Pitchfork draws a series of parallel lines in the direction of trend which can be used for support and resistance.
There are many methods of drawing pitchfork. In all cases, a line joining BC will make the base of pitchfork and fork lines are drawn from different points of the base. All the fork lines will be parallel. But, the handle of the base defines the direction of fork lines. Classification of pitchfork is mainly based on the starting and ending points of the handle.
🎲 Regular Types
Here, end of the handle is always fixed and it will be the mid point of B and C.
🎯 Andrews Pitchfork
Handle starts from A and joins the base at mid of B and C.
Forks are drawn based on fib ratios from the handle
🎯 Schiff Pitchfork
Handle starts from Bar of A and price of middle of AB and joins the base at mid of B and C
Forks are drawn based on fib ratios from the handle
🎯 Modified Schiff Pitchfork
Handle starts from mid of A and B and joins the base at mid of B and C
Forks are drawn based on fib ratios from the handle
🎲 Inside Types
Here, C will act as end of the handle which joins the Base BC .
🎯 Andrews Pitchfork (Inside)
Handle starts from A and joins the base at C
Forks are drawn based on fib ratios from the handle
🎯 Schiff Pitchfork (Inside)
Handle starts from Bar of A and price of (A+B)/2 and joins the base at C
Forks are drawn based on fib ratios from the handle
🎯 Modified Schiff Pitchfork (Inside)
Handle starts from mid of A and B and joins the base at C
Forks are drawn based on fib ratios from the handle
🎲 Brief about Pitchfork
The Angled Volume Profile technique expands on the concept of volume profile by measuring volume distribution levels over angled levels rather than just horizontal levels. By selecting a starting point and angle interactively, traders can assess volume distribution within specific price trends. This feature is particularly useful for analysing volume dynamics in trending markets.
🎲 Settings
Indicator settings include few things which determine the scanning of pitchforks and few which determines drawing of volume profile lines.
Please note that, due to pine limitations of 500 lines, if there are too many formations on the chart, volume profile may not appear correctly. If that happens, please reduce the number of volume forks per formation.
Center of gravity - Mid Point + Volume (PolySlyme)I created an indicator which suits my scalping needs.
First it calculates the mid point of every candle, then it calculates where the closing price is in the candle and converts that to a percentage from the mid point. Then it looks at volume and calculates the difference (Positive/negative) from the previous volume bar and converts that to a percentage. These 2 factors are summed together to give a percentage number (positive or negative) then highlights the positive value. Bullish volume and price action turn to gold.
I use this for scalping to great effect. Enjoy.

█ Description
Money flow an indexed value-based price and volume for the specified input length (lookback period). In summary, a momentum indicator that attempt to measure the flow of money (identify buying/selling pressure) through the asset within a specified period of time. MFI will oscillate between 0 to 100, oftentimes comprehend the analysis with oversold (20) or overbought (80) level, and a divergence that spotted to signaling a further change in trend/direction. As similar to many other indicators that use length (commonly a fixed value) as an input parameter, can be optimized by applied an adaptive filter (Ehlers), to solve the measuring cycle period. In this indicator, the adaptive measure of dominant cycle as an input parameter for the lookback period/n, will be applied to the money flow index.
█ Money Flow Index
mfi = 100 - (100/(1 + money_flow_ratio))

Trend Reversal PredictorTrend Reversal Predictor - An Indicator for Identifying Potential Trend Reversals
This indicator is designed to help traders identify potential trend reversals in the financial markets. It combines multiple criteria including trend identification, volume analysis, average net price movement, and RSI (Relative Strength Index) crossing its moving average to highlight potential danger zones where a trend reversal may occur.
How it Works:
1. Trend Identification: The script uses the Hull Moving Average (HMA) and Parabolic SAR to determine the prevailing trend. The HMA is a smoothing indicator that reduces lag and provides a clear representation of the trend direction.
2. Danger Zone Identification: The script analyzes volume-related metrics and average net price movement to identify potential danger zones where trend reversals might occur. It calculates the rate of change of buying and selling volume and compares it to their respective averages. Additionally, it considers the average net price movement over a specified period.
3. RSI Integration: The script incorporates the RSI, a momentum oscillator, to evaluate overbought and oversold conditions. It calculates the RSI based on user-defined length and source inputs. It also calculates the RSI's moving average using different types of moving averages (SMA, EMA, etc.) specified by the user.
4. Trend Ending Prediction: By combining the conditions of trend identification, volume analysis, average net price movement, and RSI crossing its moving average, the script identifies potential trend reversal points or danger zones. These danger zones are highlighted on the chart using different colors to represent potential uptrend and downtrend reversals.
How to Use:
2. Danger Zone Highlighting: The script highlights potential danger zones on the chart using orange color for uptrend danger zones and blue color for downtrend danger zones. These danger zones suggest areas where a trend reversal may occur.
3. Additional Analysis: Traders can further analyze the danger zones based on their trading strategy and risk management. Consider other technical indicators, price action, and fundamental factors to make informed trading decisions.
Please note that this script provides potential signals for trend reversals but does not guarantee their occurrence. It is important to use this indicator in conjunction with other technical analysis tools and risk management techniques to make well-informed trading decisions.
By understanding the underlying concepts and using the provided visual cues, traders can leverage the Trend Reversal Predictor to potentially identify potential trend reversals in the markets.
Volume-Blended Candlesticks [QuantVue]Introducing the Volume-Blended Candlestick Indicator, a powerful tool that seamlessly integrates volume information with candlesticks, providing you with a comprehensive view of market dynamics in a single glance.
The Volume-Blended Candlestick Indicator employs a unique approach of projecting volume totals by calculating the total volume traded per second and comparing it to the time left in the session as well as the historical average length selected by the user.
The indicator then dynamically adjusts the opacity of the candlestick colors based on the intensity of the projected volume. As volume intensifies, the candlestick colors become more pronounced, while low volume will cause colors to fade allowing you to visually perceive the level of buying or selling.
One of the standout features of the Volume-Blended Candlestick Indicator is its ability to identify pocket pivots. A pocket pivot is an up day with volume greater than any of the down days volume in the past 10 days. By highlighting these pocket pivots on your chart, the indicator helps you identify potential stealth accumulation.
In addition to blending volume with candlesticks and spotting pocket pivots, this versatile indicator provides you with an insightful table displaying key volume metrics. The table includes the average volume, average dollar volume, and the up-down volume ratio, allowing you to get a clear picture of buying and selling pressure.
Settings Include:

Volume Orderbook (Expo)█ Overview
The Volume Orderbook indicator is a volume analysis tool that visually resembles an order book. It's used for displaying trading volume data in a way that may be easier to interpret or more intuitive for certain traders, especially those familiar with order book analysis.
This indicator aggregate and display the total trading volume at different price levels over the entire range of data available on the chart, similar to how an order book displays current buy and sell orders at different price levels. However, unlike a real-time order book, it only considers historical trading data, not current bid and ask orders. This provides a 'historical order book' of sorts, indicating where most trading activities have taken place.
Summary
This is a volume-based indicator that shows the volume traded at specific price levels, highlighting areas of high and low activity.
█ Calculations
The algorithm operates by calculating the cumulative volume traded in each specific price zone within the range of data displayed on the chart. The length of each horizontal bar corresponds to the total volume of trades that occurred within that particular price zone.
In essence, when the price is in a specific zone, the volume is added to the bar representing that zone. A thicker bar implies a larger price zone, meaning that more volume is accumulated within that bar. Therefore, the thickness of the bar visually indicates the amount of trading activity that took place within the associated price zone.
█ How to use
The Volume Orderbook indicator serves as a beneficial tool for traders by identifying key price levels with a significant amount of trading activity. These high-volume areas could represent potential support or resistance levels due to the large number of orders situated there. The indicator's ability to spotlight these zones might be particularly advantageous in pinpointing breakouts or breakdowns when prices move beyond these high-volume regions. Moreover, the indicator could also assist traders in recognizing anomalies, such as when an unusually large volume of trades occurs at unconventional price levels.
Identify Key Price Levels: The indicator highlights high-volume areas where a significant number of trades have occurred, which could act as potential support or resistance levels. This is based on the notion that many traders have established positions at these prices, so these levels may serve as significant areas for market activity in the future.
Volume Nodes: These are the peaks (high-volume areas) and troughs (low-volume areas) seen on the indicator. High-volume nodes represent price levels at which a large amount of volume has been traded, typically areas of strong support or resistance. Conversely, low-volume nodes, where very little volume has been traded, indicate price levels that traders have shown little interest in the past and could potentially act as barriers to price. It's important to note that while high trading volume can imply significant market interest, it doesn't always mean the price will stop or reverse at these levels. Sometimes, prices can quickly move through high-volume areas if there are no current orders (demand) to match with the new orders (supply).
Analyze Market Psychology: The distribution of volume across different price levels can provide insights into the market's psychology, revealing the balance of power between buyers and sellers.
Highlight Potential Reversal Points: The indicator can help identify price levels with high traded volume where the market might be more likely to reverse since these levels have previously attracted significant interest from traders.
Validate Breakouts or Breakdowns: If the price moves convincingly past a high-volume node, it could indicate a strong trend, suggesting a potential breakout or breakdown. Conversely, if the price struggles to move past a high-volume node, it could suggest that the trend is weak and might potentially reverse.
Trade Reversals: High-volume areas could also indicate potential turning points in the market. If the price reaches these levels and then starts to move away, it might suggest a possible price reversal.
Confirm Other Signals: As with all technical indicators, the "Volume Orderbook" should ideally be used in conjunction with other forms of technical and fundamental analysis to confirm signals and increase the odds of successful trades.
Summary
The Volume Orderbook indicator allows traders to identify key price levels, analyze market psychology, highlight potential reversal points, validate breakouts or breakdowns, confirm other trading signals, and anticipate possible trade reversals, thereby serving as a robust tool for trading analysis.
█ Settings
Source: The user can select the source, the default of which is "close." This implies that volume is added to the volume order book when the closing price falls within a specific zone. Users can modify this to any indicator present on their chart. For example, if it's set to an SMA (Simple Moving Average) of 20, the volume will be added to the volume order book when the SMA 20 falls within the specific zone.
Rows and width: These settings allow users to adjust the representation of volume order book zones. "ROWS" pertains to the number of volume order book zones displayed, while "WIDTH" refers to the breadth of each zone.
Table and Grid: These settings allow traders to customize the Volume order-book's position and appearance. By adjusting the "left" parameter, users can shift the position of the Volume order book on the chart; a higher value pushes the order book further to the right. Additionally, users can enable "Table Border" and "Table Grid" options to add gridlines or borders to the Volume order book for easier viewing and interpretation.

RSI Trend Transform [wbburgin]The RSI Trend Transform indicator is a dual-concept indicator that transforms volume data and price data into two different RSI values, which can then be used together to determine trend strength and momentum. The volume RSI does not use any price data in its calculation - it is purely a transform from nondirectional volume into a directional indicator.
The RSI for all three RSI values (price, volume, combined average) can be plotted as either stochastic or normal. The RSI calculation is adapted for use on volume, which is why the normal ta.rsi() function is not used for the price RSI calculation; both use the same formula for indicator consistency.
How to Use the Indicator
In the examples below, the Price RSI is plotted in yellow and the Volume RSI is plotted in red (length = 200, which is why the indicator is large in these examples). The indicator can be used on any timeframe and any asset, provided volume data is provided by the vendor to TradingView.
Identifying Bullish Trends
A rising volume RSI with a rising price RSI signifies a bullish trend. Example 1:
Example 2:
You can use the combined RSI (the average of the volume RSI and the price RSI) to help with the identification of these trends:
Identifying Bearish Trends
A falling volume RSI with a falling price RSI signifies a bearish trend:
Example 2:
Settings
Source is the source of the price RSI, the volume RSI will by default use volume in its calculations. If you have other indicators on-chart, you could even use the ATR, a volatility indicator, or any nondirectional or directional indicator and transform it into the "price" RSI.
Length is both the length of the RSI and the stochastic.
The next three rows are for each RSI you can plot on the indicator: price RSI, volume RSI, and combined RSI (average of price and volume). The first checkbox plots/removes them from the chart, you can subsequently choose the type of RSI (regular or stochastic), the color of the plot, and the length of the EMA smoothing applied afterward to the plot.
Upper Band and Lower Band refer to the overbought and oversold lines, respectively.
A note about the combined RSI- you will be unable to spot divergences if the combined RSI is the only plot on the indicator, so I encourage you to use the combined RSI as a way to confirm the overall trend if you notice the price RSI and the volume RSI and trending similarly.
Powertrend - Volume Range Filter Strategy [wbburgin]The Powertrend is a range filter that is based off of volume, instead of price. This helps the range filter capture trends more accurately than a price-based range filter, because the range filter will update itself from changes in volume instead of changes in price. In certain scenarios this means that the Powertrend will be more profitable than a normal range filter.
Essentials of the Strategy
This is a breakout strategy which works best on trending assets with high volume and liquidity. It should be used on middle to higher timeframes and can be used on all assets that have volume provided by the data source (stocks, crypto, forex). It is long-only as of now. It can work on lower timeframes if you optimize the strategy filters to make less trades or if your exchange/broker is low/no fees, provided that your exchange/broker has high liquidity and volume.
The strategy enters a long position if the range filter is trending upwards and the price crosses over the upper range band, which signifies a price-volume breakout. The strategy closes the long position if the range filter is trending downwards and the price crosses under the lower range band, which signifies a breakdown. Both these conditions can be altered by the three filter options in the settings. The default trend filter is not alterable because it helps prevent false entries and exits that are against the trend.
Settings
The Length setting is the lookback period for the range smoothing.
The ADX Filter setting enables you to turn on an ADX filter, which will halt entries and exits unless the ADX of your customizable length is above a ADX VWMA of that length.
The Range Supertrend setting creates a supertrend from the top and bottom ranges, which can be used to filter entries and exits. The length is customizable. The filter can show you whether the range is making higher highs and lower lows. Below is an example of the Range Supertrend being used as a filter and plotted on-chart:
The VWMA setting halts entries if they are below a customizable length VWMA.
Both the Range Supertrend and the VWMA can also be plotted separately without actually filtering the strategy, so that you can use them independently if you wish. You can turn off the bar color, the highlighting, and the labels if you wish in the settings. A note about the bar color: if the color changes but the strategy does not signal an exit or entry this means that the crossover was against the trend. In these circumstances it may be indicative of a pullback to enter or exit or to add onto your position.
About the Strategy Results Below
A range filter is normally composed of two components - the range filter itself and a smoothing function. In the development of this script I tested both normal and volume-based varieties of the range filter and the smoothing function:
Tests Performed
Volume-based Range x VWMA smoothing
Price-based Range x VWMA smoothing
Price-based Range x EMA smoothing
Volume-based Range x EMA smoothing (final result)
The highest-performing was a volume-based range filter and a normal EMA-based smoothing function, but that does not mean that this strategy will be profitable - exits are based off of signal reversion so I strongly encourage you to develop your own take profits/stop losses for the strategy if you think it may be a good fit for you. The results below are with a commission value of 0.05% (because I built the strategy first for equities), slippage of 3, so if your exchange/broker has a higher fee schedule, I recommend adding filters and/or moving to higher timeframes for the strategy. Additionally, I used 10% of equity in each trade, while using the Range Supertrend filter (the previous upload was unrealistic because it used 100% of equity - missed a 0, apologies, and added in slippage).
Bank Nifty ScalpingThis indicator is designed for scalping purposes.
Users have the option to input the desired source and enable or disable the following indicators:
Multiple EMA (Exponential moving average)
Simultaneously displays multiple moving averages to quickly identify shifts in momentum and obtain confirmation from slower-moving averages.
By default, the EMA display settings are configured to show the 20-day EMA and the 200-day EMA. However, users have the flexibility to modify the display settings according to their preferences. This means that users can customize the indicator to show the EMA values of their choice, such as EMA 50 and EMA 100.
VWAP ( Volume weighted average price )
Default value is set to ‘hl2’
A bullish trend is indicated when the price is above the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP), while a bearish trend is indicated when the price is below the VWAP.
VWMA ( Volume weighted moving average )
In the VWMA (Volume Weighted Moving Average) indicator, a default value of 20 is used. If the price is higher than the VWMA, it typically indicates a bullish trend. Conversely, if the price is lower than the VWMA, it suggests a bearish trend. The VWMA takes into account both price and volume, providing a weighted average that can help identify shifts in market sentiment.
Multiple SuperTrends
Default value is 10 and 2 / 10 and 3
A bullish trend is identified when the price is above the SuperTrend indicator, whereas a bearish trend is observed when the price is below the SuperTrend indicator.
Camarilla Pivot Points (Level 3 and 4 only)
Levels 3 and 4 serve as crucial support and resistance levels, acting as the final line of defense against strong trends. These levels are expected to generate reversals, where price often changes direction.
CPR ( Central Pivot Points)
The Daily Central Pivot Point Indicator is a popular tool used in technical analysis. It calculates several levels based on the previous day's high, low, and closing prices.
Strong Volume
The user has the ability to set the average volume for Nifty and BankNifty indices to calculate strong volume.
Elder Impulse System
The Impulse System, developed by Alexander Elder and discussed in his book "New Trading for a Living," is a censorship trading system designed to determine whether a trade should be allowed or prohibited. Additionally, it can be used to identify when a trend is starting to weaken. The Impulse System relies on the following factors:
1. Slope of a Fast Exponential Moving Average (EMA): The fast EMA's slope reflects the price's inertia or momentum.
2. Slope of the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD): The MACD's slope indicates the strength or power of the price movement.
Based on these factors, the Impulse System categorizes candles or price bars into three colors:
* Green Candle: When both the fast EMA and MACD are rising, indicating upward momentum.
* Red Candle: When both the fast EMA and MACD are declining, suggesting downward momentum.
* Blue Candle: In all other cases where the conditions for green or red candles are not met, representing a neutral or uncertain market condition.
By applying the Impulse System, traders can gain insights into the market trend, its strength, and potential shifts in momentum, helping them make informed trading decisions.
Happy Trading
Volume Suite - By Leviathan (CVD, Volume Delta, Relative Volume)Volume Suite is an all-in-one script that includes several volume-based indicators such as CVD, Volume Delta, Relative Volume, Buy/Sell Volume, Cumulative Relative Volume and more. Additionally, it offers fully customisable appearance and features for improved data visualization, such as highlights for high volume activity, small price changes with high volume, or large price changes with low volume and more.
Data available in version 1:
- Volume Delta
Volume Delta is the net difference between Buy Volume and Sell Volume at a given bar. Positive Delta indicates that Buy Volume > Sell Volume, while Negative Delta means that Sell Volume > Buy Volume. As there is not way to get tick data on Tradingview, calculating Volume Delta is improvised by using the direction of lower timeframe candles and their volume.
- Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD)
CVD is a running total/cumulation of Volume Delta values, where positive VD gets added to the sum and negative VD gets subtracted from the sum. It can be used for trend strength analysis, divergence strategies, sentiment, etc.
- Buy/Sell Volume
Buy and Sell Volume provides an insight into volume activity in a given bar by estimating the buying/selling volume based on the direction of lower timeframe candles and their volume.
- Relative Volume
Relative Volume is used to compare current trading volume to past trading volume over a given period. For instance, a relative volume of 1.0 indicates that volume is at an average level, while a relative volume of 2.0 suggests that the volume is twice as high as the average.
- Cumulative Relative Volume (CRVOL)
CRVOL is a running total/cumulation of Relative Volume values, where RVOL at close>open gets added to the sum and RVOL at close<open gets subtracted from the sum. It can be used for trend strength analysis, divergence strategies, sentiment, etc.

REVE Cohorts - Range Extension Volume Expansion CohortsREVE Cohorts stands for Range Extensions Volume Expansions Cohorts.
Volume is divided in four cohorts, these are depicted in the middle band with colors and histogram spikes.
0-80 percent i.e. low volumes; these get a green color and a narrow histogram bar
80-120 percent, normal volumes, these get a blue color and a narrow histogram bar
120-200 percent, high volume, these get an orange color and a wide histogram bar
200 and more percent is extreme volume, maroon color and wide bar.
All histogram bars have the same length. They point to the exact candle where the volume occurs.
Range is divided in two cohorts, these are depicted as candles above and below the middle band.
0-120 percent: small and normal range, depicted as single size, square candles
120 percent and more, wide range depicted as double size, rectangular candles.
The range candles are placed and colored according to the Advanced Price Algorithm (published script). If the trend is up, the candles are in the uptrend area, which is above the volume band, , downtrend candles below in the downtrend area. Dark blue candles depict a price movement which confirms the uptrend, these are of course in the uptrend area. In this area are also light red candles with a blue border, these depict a faltering price movement countering the uptrend. In the downtrend area, which is below the volume band, are red candles which depict a price movement confirming the downtrend and light blue candles with a red border depicting price movement countering the downtrend. A trend in the Advanced Price Algorithm is in equal to the direction of a simple moving average with the same lookback. The indicator has the same lagging.as this SMA.
Signals are placed in the vacated spaces, e.g. during an uptrend the downtrend area is vacated.
There are six signals, which arise as follows:
1 Two blue triangles up on top of each other: high or extreme volume in combination with wide range confirming uptrend. This indicates strong and effective up pressure in uptrend
2 Two pink tringles down on top of each other: high or extreme volume in combination with wide range down confirming downtrend. This indicates strong and effective down pressure in downtrend
3 Blue square above pink down triangle down: extreme volume in combination with wide range countering uptrend. This indicates a change of heart, down trend is imminent, e.g. during a reversal pattern. Down Pressure in uptrend
4 Pink square below blue triangle up: extreme volume in combination with wide range countering downtrend. This indicates a change of heart, reversal to uptrend is imminent. Up Pressure in downtrend
5 single blue square: a. extreme volume in combination with small range confirming uptrend, b. extreme volume in combination with small range countering downtrend, c. high volume in combination with wide range countering uptrend. This indicates halting upward price movement, occurs often at tops or during distribution periods. Unresolved pressure in uptrend
6 Single pink square: a extreme volume in combination with small range confirming downtrend, b extreme volume in combination with small range countering uptrend, c high volume in combination with wide range countering downtrend. This indicated halting downward price movement. Occurs often at bottoms or during accumulation periods. Unresolved pressure in downtrend.
The signals 5 and 6 are introduced to prevent flipping of signals into their opposite when the lookback is changed. Now signals may only change from unresolved in directional or vice versa. Signals 3 and 4 were introduced to make sure that all occurrences of extreme volume will result in a signal. Occurrences of wide volume only partly lead to a signal.
Use of REVE Cohorts.
This is the indicator for volume-range analyses that I always wanted to have. Now that I managed to create it, I put it in all my charts, it is often the first part I look at, In my momentum investment system I use it primarily in the layout for following open positions. It helps me a lot to decide whether to close or hold a position. The advantage over my previous attempts to create a REVE indicator (published scripts), is that this version is concise because it reports and classifies all possible volumes and ranges, you see periods of drying out of volume, sequences of falter candles, occurrences of high morning volume, warning and confirming signals.. The assessment by script whether some volume should be considered low, normal, high or extreme gives an edge over using the standard volume bars.
Settings of REVE Cohorts
The default setting for lookback is ‘script sets lookback’ I put this in my indicators because I want them harmonized, the script sets lookback according to timeframe. The tooltip informs which lookback will be set at which timeframe, you can enable a feedback label to show the current lookback. If you switch ‘script sets lookback’ off, you can set your own preferred user lookback. The script self-adapts its settings in such a way that it will show up from the very first bar of historical chart data, it adds volume starting at the fourth bar.
You can switch off volume cohorts, only range candles will show while the middle band disappears. Signals will remain if volume is present in the data. Some Instruments have no volume data, e.g. SPX-S&P 500 Index,, then only range candles will be shown.
Colors can be adapted in the inputs. Because the script calculates matching colors with more transparency it is advised to use 100 percent opacity in these settings.
Take care, Eykpunter
Liquidity Sentiment Profile [LuxAlgo]The Liquidity Sentiment Profile is an advanced charting tool that measures by combining PRICE and VOLUME data over specified anchored periods and highlights within a sequence of profiles the distribution of the liquidity and the market sentiment at specific price levels.
The Liquidity Sentiment Profile allows traders to reveal significant price levels, dominant market sentiment, support and resistance levels, supply and demand zones, liquidity availability levels, liquidity gaps, consolidation zones, and more based on price and volume data.
Liquidity refers to the availability of orders at specific price levels in the market, allowing transactions to occur smoothly.
🔶 USAGE
A Liquidity Sentiment Profile is a combination of a liquidity and a sentiment profile, where the right part of the profile displays the distribution of the traded activity at different price levels and the left part displays the market sentiment at those price levels.
The Liquidity Sentiment Profiles are visualized with different colors, where each color has a different meaning.
The Liquidity Sentiment Profiles aim to present Value Areas based on the significance of price levels, thus allowing users to identify value areas that can be formed more than once within the range of a single profile.
Level of Significance Line - displays the changes in the price levels with the highest traded activity (developing POC)
🔶 SETTINGS
The script takes into account user-defined parameters and plots the profiles, where detailed usage for each user-defined input parameter in indicator settings is provided with the related input's tooltip.

VWAP angle TrendThe VWAP Angle Trend is an indicator built with the aim of providing valuable insights into the reversal points of the #VWAP using Angle
This is achieved by calculating the angle between the current VWAP and its previous value over a customizable lookback period and normalizing it with ATR
By analyzing the angle, we can gain an understanding of the strength and direction of the VWAP, which can help them identify potential trend reversals or continuations.
After observing the market over a lengthy period, I have come to realize that as the angle increases above 65 or decreases under -65 , it confirms a higher likelihood of a trend reversal.
the indicator highlights these zones where a trend reversal is more likely to occur.
The indicator can help you to assess the strength and direction of VWAP, enabling you to make more informed trading decisions.
By identifying periods of strong momentum or potential exhaustion, you can seek opportunities for entering or exiting positions, and potentially capitalize on trend movements in the market.
OSPL Volume [Community Edition]NSE:BANKNIFTY1!
This indicator is based on the concepts popularized by @OptionsScalper123 "Siva" of OiPulse. His ideology Is that large moves come after high volume candles. For Nifty, high volume is considered to be a candle above 125k volume and for BankNifty it’s 50k.
This indicator allows you to cut the noise and focus only on the high volume candle. It shows high volume candle in a brighter shade and lower volume candles in a less visible shade.
You can set the minimum volume threshold limit for Nifty and BankNifty. The indicator smartly recognizes which index you are using it in and uses the respective threshold volume limit.
All colors are customizable.
Thanks for Siva for all the ideas and wonderful products he has given to the community
Thanks to all the wonderful Pinescipters for developing awesome indicators and keeping the source open.
The source code of this indicator is just a few lines. Hope you can use it in your projects and learn something from this just how I learned from other scripts.
Any changes or updates needed in this indicator, please suggest. I was thinking some kind of alerts can be added when volume crosses the threshold. Let me know.
Boost/like this indicator and comment if you find this useful. Cheers and happy trading!!!
Volume-Weighted Supertrend Strategy [wbburgin]This is a script that can be used as a strategy or a standalone indicator.
The Volume-Weighted Supertrend is a supertrend based on a rolling VWAP, instead of a normal price source. The strategy has two components - a supertrend based off of this VWAP (shown on the chart) and a supertrend from volume itself (not plotted on the chart directly). The supertrend from volume is an example of my "Supertrend Any Source" indicator, where a custom ATR is created from non-OHLC data; this is available as both a separate public script and also in my "wbburgin_utils" library for you to use in your own script creation.
The supertrend from volume acts as a confirmation filter for the VWAP-supertrend shown on-chart. If the volume supertrend is trending up and the VWAP-based supertrend is also trending up, a buy signal is generated. Likewise, if the volume supertrend is trending down and the VWAP-supertrend is trending down, a sell signal is generated. The colors are based off of whether both supertrends are trending up or down: green for both up, blue for only price up, orange for only price down, and red for both down.
The settings enable you to change the volume length and the ATR length separately, as well as the multiplier and the source for the price supertrend. If you load the indicator for the first time and see no entries and exits, this is because "Show Strategy Entries and Exits" is disabled in the settings. This is if you plan on using the strategy as an indicator and don't want to be bothered by the entry and exit symbols on the chart. Additionally, for those who like clean charts (like me), you can turn all the labels off in the settings, as well as the highlighting.
My default strategy settings for the strategy results shown below are as follows: 5% equity per trade, 5 degrees of pyramiding, commissions of 0.08% per trade. This strategy doesn't come with stops yet, so please be aware of that before using it to trade - I highly suggest you create your own stops based off of your R/R ratio and personal risk tolerance. Additionally, it works best on trending assets (b/c of the supertrends) with high volume. This might mean it does not work as well on lower timeframes.

MTF Evolving Weighted Composite Value Area🧾 Description:
This indicator calculates evolving value areas across 3 different timeframes/periods and combines them into one composite, multi-timeframe evolving value area - with each of the underlying timeframes' VAs assigned their own weighting/importance in the final calculation. Layered with extra smoothing options, this creates an informative and useful 'rolling value area' effect that can give you a better perspective on the value area across multiple periods at once as it develops - without total calculation resets at the onset of every new period.
Let's start with a simplified primer on value areas and then jump in to the new ideas this indicator introduces.
🤔 What is a value area?
Value areas are a tool used in market profile analysis to determine the range of prices that represents where most trading activity occurred during a specific time period, typically within a single 'bar' of a certain higher timeframe, such as the 4-hour, daily, or weekly. It helps traders understand the levels where the market finds value.
To calculate the value area, we look at the distribution of prices and trading volume. We determine a percentage, usually 70% or 80%, that represents the significant portion of trading volume. Then, we identify the price range that contains this percentage of trading volume, which becomes the value area.
Value areas are useful because they provide insights into market dynamics and potential support and resistance levels. They show where traders have been most active and where they find value, and traders can use this information to make better-informed decisions.
For example, if price is trading within the value area, it suggests that it's within a range where traders see value and are actively participating, which could indicate a balanced market. If the price moves above or below the value area, it may signal a potential shift in market sentiment or a breakout/breakdown from the established range.
By understanding the value area, traders can identify potential areas of supply and demand, determine levels of interest for buyers and sellers, and make decisions based on the market's perception of value.
📑 Limitations of traditional value areas
Static representation: Value areas are usually represented as static zones calculated after the fact. For example, after a daily period is completed, a typical 1D VA indicator will display the value area for the past period with static horizontal lines. This approach doesn't give you the power to see how the value area evolved, or developed, during the time period, as it is only displayed retroactively. It also doesn't give you the ability to view it as it evolves in real-time. This is why we chose to use an evolving value area representation, specifically borrowed from @sourcey's Value Area POC/VAH/VAL script function for calculating evolving VAs.
Rollover resets - no memory of past periods!: The traditional value area is calculated over a static period - it is calculated from the beginning of the period, for example a 1 day period, to the end, and that's the end of it. When the next daily period begins, the calculation resets, and has no memory of the preceding period. This limits the usefulness of the value area visual when viewed near the beginning of a new period before price and volume have been given ample time to define an area.
Hard to absorb all of that information: Value areas aren't generally meant to be a hardline representation of something extremely exact - they're based on a percentage of the area where traders appeared to find value over a certain time period. Most traders use them as a guide for support and resistance levels or finding an expected range. Traders typically overlay multiple VAs - sometimes requiring several instances of the same indicator to be applied - to represent the VA across multiple timeframes such as the 4H, 1D, or 1W. The chart quickly gets cluttered and it's not necessarily easy to understand the relationship between these multiple periods' VAs at a glance.
🧪 New concepts introduced in this indicator
With the evolving weighted composite value area we tried to address these limitations, and we think the result can be useful and intuitive for traders who want more dynamic and practical VAs for their everyday technical analysis.
⚖️ 1. A composite, weighted multi-timeframe VA
This indicator's value areas represent a combination or composite of the value areas calculated across multiple timeframes. The VAs calculated across each timeframe are then given a weighting percentage, which determines their contribution to the final 'weighted composite value area'.
Pictured below: a 4H/1D/1W MTF evolving weighted composite VA on the BTCUSDT Perpetual Futures (Binance) 5 minute chart:
Traditionally, when traders wanted to get a view of where the majority of trading activity occurred over the past four hours, day, and week, they would need to apply three value area indicators (or sometimes one if it allows multiple custom timeframes), each set to a different period (4H, 1D, 1W). The chart gets cluttered quickly and the information is hard to absorb in one shot. Addressing this problem was the main impetus for creating this weighted composite process.
〰️ 2. Rolling and smoothed evolving VAs
Because the composite VA is calculated based on multiple period VAs, there is no one single point where the area calculation resets (unless all 3 selected timeframes happen to rollover on the same bar). This creates a 'rolling' effect that gives a sense of the progression of the VA as price transitions through the different underlying time periods, without the traditional 'jump' in calculations between periods.
Pictured below: a 1D/1W/1M MTF evolving weighted composite VA on the NQ futures 1H chart:
To help give even more of a sense of perspective and 'progression' of the VA, there are also smoothing options to even out the 'jumps' at period-rollover points.
✔️ What's it good for?
Smoothed, rolling, and evolving multi-timeframe VAs that give you a better real-time perspective of where traders are finding value across multiple time periods at once.

⚙️ Settings:
Calculation Decimal Resolution: This setting essentially determines how 'granular' the value area calculating process is. This value should be set to some multiple of the tick size/smallest decimal of the symbol's price chart. Eg. On BTCUSDT, the tick size/decimal is usually 0.1. So, you might use 0.5. On TSLA, the tick size is 0.01. You might use 0.05 or 0.25. Beware: if the resolution is too small, calculation will take too long and the script may timeout.
Show Me Suggested Resolutions: If enabled, a label will display in the bottom right of the chart with some suggested resolutions for the current chart.
Area Percentage: Set the displayed percentage of the calculated composite value area. Igor method = 70%; Daniel method: 68%.
Use a Color Theme: When this setting is enabled, all manual 'Bullish and Bearish Colors' are overridden. All plots will use the colors from your selected Color Theme - excepting those plots set to use the 'Single Color' coloring method.
Color Theme: When 'Use a Color Theme' is enabled, this setting allows you to select the color theme you wish to use.
Resistance Color: When 'Use a Color Theme' is disabled, this will set the 'resistance color' for the composite VA.
Support Color: When 'Use a Color Theme' is disabled, this will set the 'support color' for the composite VA.
Show Period Rollover Labels: When enabled, a label will show above or below the composite VA marking any underlying period rollovers with the label 'New __' (eg. 'New 4H', 'New 1D', 'New 1W').
Size: Sets the font size of the period rollover labels.
Show Period Rollover Lines: When enabled, a translucent vertical dashed line will be drawn across the composite VA when one of the underlying periods rolls over.
Fill Composite Value Area: When enabled, the composite VA will be filled with a gradient coloring from the support line to the resistance line using their respective colors.
Smooth: When enabled, a smoothing moving average will be applied to the composite value area.
Smoothing Period: Set the lookback period for the smoothing average.
Smoothing Type: Set the calculation type for the smoothing average. Options include: Exponential, Simple, Weighted, Volume-Weighted, and Hull.
Enable: Include/exclude a timeframe's VA in the composite VA calculation.
Timeframe: Set the timeframe for this specific underlying VA.
Weighting %: Set the weighting percentage or 'importance' of this timeframe's value area in calculating the composite VA. Beware! The sum of the weighting percentages across all enabled timeframes must ALWAYS add up to 100 in order for this indicator to work as designed.
Volume Z-Score [SuperJump]Hello Guys.
I'm very very happy to release a new indicator after a really long time
The reason I created this indicator is, we often forget the importance of volume.
Volume is a signal of the start of a strong trend, and a very good example of how long a trend can continue.
Why do we forget the importance of trading volume?
Right, because we use a timeframe that is too small,
Most of the time we trade, the candles are largely free of volatility and low in volume.
So if we forget to check volume sometimes, no problem.
But when trading on a big trend, we can't ignore it.
I hope this volume indicator made using Z-Score will help you.

People sometimes call us gamblers.
They even accuse us of being unnecessary for the things we study with passion.
But I believe, we can definitely find a good meaning.
Anchored VWAP+This indicator is an enhanced version of the Anchored VWAP indicator with additional functions:
1. Anchored AP (average price). It removes the volume weighting step in Anchored VWAP, and can display the average price over a period of time. For example, if the price of the stock in the last 3 days is 100, 200, 300, then AP is their average value of 200
2. Anchored AC (average cost). The average cost over time can be displayed. For example, if the price of the stock in the last 2 days is 100,300, then AC is (1+1)/(1/100+1/300)=150
When using the indicator, you need to choose a starting point, then the indicator will start to calculate the subsequent VWAP, AP and AC from this starting point, and draw 3 lines in the graph
These three lines can be regarded as the average cost line of the market, with potential support and resistance effects
We have filled the shadow between VWAP and AP, which can be regarded as a potential support resistance band

该指标为增强版本的Anchored VWAP指标。在Anchored VWAP基础上增加了额外功能:
1. Anchored AP。其去掉了Anchored VWAP中成交量加权的步骤,可以显示一段时间的平均价格。举个例子,假如股票最近3天的价格为100,200,300,那么AP为他们的平均值200
2. Anchored AC。
