Vegas SuperTrend Enhanced - Strategy [presentTrading]█ Introduction and How it is Different
The "Vegas SuperTrend Enhanced - Strategy " trading strategy represents a novel integration of two powerful technical analysis tools: the Vegas Channel and the SuperTrend indicator. This fusion creates a dynamic, adaptable strategy designed for the volatile and fast-paced cryptocurrency markets, particularly focusing on Bitcoin trading.
Unlike traditional trading strategies that rely on a static set of rules, this approach modifies the SuperTrend's sensitivity to market volatility, offering traders the ability to customize their strategy based on current market conditions. This adaptability makes it uniquely suited to navigating the often unpredictable swings in cryptocurrency valuations, providing traders with signals that are both timely and reflective of underlying market dynamics.

█ Strategy, How it Works: Detailed Explanation
This is an innovative approach that combines the volatility-based Vegas Channel with the trend-following SuperTrend indicator to create dynamic trading signals. This section delves deeper into the mechanics and mathematical foundations of the strategy.
Detail picture to show :
🔶 Vegas Channel Calculation
The Vegas Channel serves as the foundation of this strategy, employing a simple moving average (SMA) coupled with standard deviation to define the upper and lower bounds of the trading channel. This channel adapts to price movements, offering a visual representation of potential support and resistance levels based on historical price volatility.
🔶 SuperTrend Indicator Adjustment
Central to the strategy is the SuperTrend indicator, which is adjusted according to the width of the Vegas Channel. This adjustment is achieved by modifying the SuperTrend's multiplier based on the channel's volatility, allowing the indicator to become more sensitive during periods of high volatility and less so during quieter market phases.
🔶 Trend Determination and Signal Generation
The market trend is determined by comparing the current price with the SuperTrend values. A shift from below to above the SuperTrend line signals a potential bullish trend, prompting a "buy" signal, whereas a move from above to below indicates a bearish trend, generating a "sell" signal. This methodology ensures that trades are entered in alignment with the prevailing market direction, enhancing the potential for profitability.

█ Trade Direction
A distinctive feature of this strategy is its configurable trade direction input, allowing traders to specify whether they wish to engage in long positions, short positions, or both. This flexibility enables users to tailor the strategy according to their risk tolerance, trading style, and market outlook, providing a personalized trading experience.
█ Usage
To utilize the "Vegas SuperTrend - Enhanced" strategy effectively, traders should first adjust the input settings to align with their trading preferences and the specific characteristics of the asset being traded. Monitoring the strategy's signals within the context of overall market conditions and combining its insights with other forms of analysis can further enhance its effectiveness.
█ Default Settings
- Trade Direction: Both (allows trading in both directions)
- ATR Period for SuperTrend: 10 (determines the length of the ATR for volatility measurement)
- Vegas Window Length: 100 (sets the length of the SMA for the Vegas Channel)
- SuperTrend Multiplier Base: 5 (base multiplier for SuperTrend calculation)
- Volatility Adjustment Factor: 5.0 (adjusts SuperTrend sensitivity based on Vegas Channel width)
These default settings provide a balanced approach suitable for various market conditions but can be adjusted to meet individual trading needs and objectives.

TTP Intelligent AccumulatorThe intelligent accumulator is a proof of concept strategy. A hybrid between a recurring buy and TA-based entries and exits.
Distribute the amount of equity and add to your position as long as the TA condition is valid.
Use the exit TA condition to define your exit strategy.
Decide between adding only into losing positions to average down or take a riskier approach by allowing to add into a winning position as well.
Take full profit or distribute your exit into multiple take profit exists of the same size.
You can also decide if you allow your exit conditions to close your position in a loss or require a minimum take profit %.
The strategy includes a default built-in TA conditions just for showcasing the idea but the final intent of this script is to delegate the TA entries and exists to external sources.
The internal conditions use RSI length 7 crossing below the BB with std 1 for entries and above for exits.
To control the number of orders use the properties from settings:
- adjust the pyramiding
- adjust the percentage of equity
- make sure that pyramiding * % equity equals 100 to prevent over use of equity (unless using leverage)
The script is designed as an alternative to daily or weekly recurring buys but depending on the accuracy of your TA conditions it might prove profitable also in lower timeframes.
The reason the script is named Intelligent is because recurring buy is most commonly used without any decision making: buy no matter what with certain frequency. This strategy seeks to still perform recurring buys but filtering out some of the potential bad entries that can delay unnecessarily seeing the position in profits. The second reason is also securing an exit strategy from the beginning which no recurring buy option offers out-of-the-box.
Zero-lag Volatility-Breakout EMA Trend StrategyThis is a simple volatility-breakout strategy which uses the difference in two different zero-lag* EMAs (explained below on what exactly I mean by this) to track the upwards or downwards strength of an instrument. When the difference breaks above a Bollinger Band of a configurable standard deviation multiple, the strategy enters based off the direction of the base EMA used (i.e. if the difference breaks above and the current EMA is rising, a long entry is produced. If the difference breaks above and the current EMA is falling, a short entry is produced).
The two EMA-type metrics used to calculate the volatility difference are calculated by the following formula:
top_ema = math.max(src, ta.ema(src, length))
bottom_ema = math.min(src, ta.ema(src, length))
ema_difference = (top_ema - bottom_ema) - 1
This produces a difference which responds immediately to large price movements, instead of lagging if it used strictly the EMA itself.
SETTINGS
Source : The source of the strategy - close, hlc3, another indicator plot, etc.
EMA Difference Length : The length of both the EMA difference statistics and the base EMA used to calculate the entry side.
Standard Deviation Multiple : The Bollinger Bands multiple used when the difference is breaking out.
Use Binary Strategy : The strategy has two configurations: Binary and Rapid-Exit. 'Binary' means that it will not close a long position until a short position is generated, and vice-versa. 'Rapid-Exit' will close a long or short position once the difference reaches the middle Bollinger Band MA. This means that turning on 'Binary' will expose you to more market risk, but potentially greater market return. Turning off 'Binary' will exit quickly and reduce drawdown.
The strategy results below use 10% equity and 0.1% fees per trade.
Bollinger Bands StrategyBollinger Bands Strategy :
INTRODUCTION :
This strategy is based on the famous Bollinger Bands. These are constructed using a standard moving average (SMA) and the standard deviation of past prices. The theory goes that 90% of the time, the price is contained between these two bands. If it were to break out, this would mean either a reversal or a continuation. However, when a reversal occurs, the movement is weak, whereas when a continuation occurs, the movement is substantial and profits can be interesting. We're going to use BB to take advantage of this strong upcoming movement, while managing our risks reasonably. There's also a money management method for reinvesting part of the profits or reducing the size of orders in the event of substantial losses.
BOLLINGER BANDS :
The construction of Bollinger bands is straightforward. First, plot the SMA of the price, with a length specified by the user. Then calculate the standard deviation to measure price dispersion in relation to the mean, using this formula :
stdv = (((P1 - avg)^2 + (P2 - avg)^2 + ... + (Pn - avg)^2) / n)^1/2
To plot the two Bollinger bands, we then add a user-defined number of standard deviations to the initial SMA. The default is to add 2. The result is :
Upper_band = SMA + 2*stdv
Lower_band = SMA - 2*stdv
When the price leaves this channel defined by the bands, we obtain buy and sell signals.
PARAMETERS :
BB Length : This is the length of the Bollinger Bands, i.e. the length of the SMA used to plot the bands, and the length of the price series used to calculate the standard deviation. The default is 120.
Standard Deviation Multipler : adds or subtracts this number of times the standard deviation from the initial SMA. Default is 2.
SMA Exit Signal Length : Exit signals for winning and losing trades are triggered by another SMA. This parameter defines the length of this SMA. The default is 110.
Max Risk per trade (in %) : It's the maximum percentage the user can lose in one trade. The default is 6%.
Fixed Ratio : This is the amount of gain or loss at which the order quantity is changed. The default is 400, meaning that for each $400 gain or loss, the order size is increased or decreased by a user-selected amount.
Increasing Order Amount : This is the amount to be added to or subtracted from orders when the fixed ratio is reached. The default is $200, which means that for every $400 gain, $200 is reinvested in the strategy. On the other hand, for every $400 loss, the order size is reduced by $200.
Initial capital : $1000
Fees : Interactive Broker fees apply to this strategy. They are set at 0.18% of the trade value.
Slippage : 3 ticks or $0.03 per trade. Corresponds to the latency time between the moment the signal is received and the moment the order is executed by the broker.
Important : A bot has been used to test the different parameters and determine which ones maximize return while limiting drawdown. This strategy is the most optimal on BITSTAMP:BTCUSD in 8h timeframe with the following parameters :
BB Length = 120
Standard Deviation Multipler = 2
SMA Exit Signal Length = 110
Max Risk per trade (in %) = 6%
ENTER RULES :
The entry rules are simple:
If close > Upper_band it's a LONG signal
If close < Lower_band it's a SHORT signal
EXIT RULES :
If we are LONG and close < SMA_EXIT, position is closed
If we are SHORT and close > SMA_EXIT, the position is closed
Positions close automatically if they lose more than 6% to limit risk
RISK MANAGEMENT :
This strategy is subject to losses. We manage our risk using the exit SMA or using a SL sets to 6%. This SMA gives us exit signals when the price closes below or above, thus limiting losses. If the signal arrives too late, the position is closed after a loss of 6%.
MONEY MANAGEMENT :
The fixed ratio method was used to manage our gains and losses. For each gain of an amount equal to the fixed ratio value, we increase the order size by a value defined by the user in the "Increasing order amount" parameter. Similarly, each time we lose an amount equal to the value of the fixed ratio, we decrease the order size by the same user-defined value. This strategy increases both performance and drawdown.
NOTE :
Please note that the strategy is backtested from 2017-01-01. As the timeframe is 8h, this strategy is a medium/long-term strategy. That's why only 51 trades were closed. Be careful, as the test sample is small and performance may not necessarily reflect what may happen in the future.
Enjoy the strategy and don't forget to take the trade :)
Bollinger Bands & Fibonacci StrategyThe Bollinger Bands & Fibonacci Strategy is a powerful technical analysis trading strategy designed to identify potential entry and exit points in financial markets. This strategy combines two widely used indicators, Bollinger Bands and Fibonacci retracement levels, to assist traders in making informed trading decisions.
Key Features:
Bollinger Bands: This strategy utilizes Bollinger Bands, a volatility-based indicator that consists of an upper band, a lower band, and a middle (basis) line. Bollinger Bands help traders visualize price volatility and potential reversal points.
Fibonacci Retracement Levels: Fibonacci retracement levels are essential tools for identifying potential support and resistance levels in price charts. This strategy incorporates Fibonacci retracement levels, including the 0% and 100% levels, to aid in pinpointing key price levels.
Long and Short Signals: The strategy generates long (buy) and short (sell) signals based on specific conditions derived from Bollinger Bands and Fibonacci levels. Long signals are generated when price crosses above the upper Bollinger Band and when the price is above the Fibonacci low level. Short signals are generated when price crosses below the lower Bollinger Band and when the price is below the Fibonacci high level.
Position Management: To prevent multiple concurrent positions of the same type (long or short), the strategy employs position management logic. It tracks open positions and ensures that only one position type is active at a time.
Exit Conditions: The strategy includes customizable exit conditions to manage and close open positions. Traders can fine-tune exit criteria to align with their risk management and profit-taking strategies.
User-Friendly: This strategy script is user-friendly and can be easily integrated into the TradingView platform, allowing traders to apply it to various financial instruments and timeframes.
Usage:
Traders and investors can apply the Bollinger Bands & Fibonacci Strategy to a wide range of financial markets, including stocks, forex, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. It can be adapted to different timeframes to suit various trading styles, from day trading to swing trading.
Disclaimer:
Trading carries inherent risks, and this strategy is no exception. It is essential to use proper risk management techniques, including stop-loss orders, and thoroughly backtest the strategy on historical data before implementing it in live trading.
The Bollinger Bands & Fibonacci Strategy is a valuable tool for technical traders seeking well-defined entry and exit points based on robust indicators. PercentX Trend Follower [Trendoscope]"Trendoscope" was born from our trading journey, where we first delved into the world of trend-following methods. Over time, we discovered the captivating allure of pattern analysis and the exciting challenges it presented, drawing us into exploring new horizons. However, our dedication to trend-following methodologies remains steadfast and continues to be an integral part of our core philosophy.
Here we are, introducing another effective trend-following methodology, employing straightforward yet powerful techniques.
🎲 Concepts
Introducing the innovative PercentX Oscillator , a representation of Bollinger PercentB and Keltner Percent K. This powerful tool offers users the flexibility to customize their PercentK oscillator, including options for the type of moving average and length.
The Oscillator Range is derived dynamically, utilizing two lengths - inner and outer. The inner length initiates the calculation of the oscillator's highest and lowest range, while the outer length is used for further calculations, involving either a moving average or the opposite side of the highest/lowest range, to obtain the oscillator ranges.
Next, the Oscillator Boundaries are derived by applying another round of high/low or moving average calculations on the oscillator range values.
Breakouts occur when the close price crosses above the upper boundary or below the lower boundary, signaling potential trading opportunities.
🎲 How to trade a breakout?
To reduce false signals, we employ a simple yet effective approach. Instead of executing market trades, we use stop orders on both sides at a certain distance from the current close price.
In case of an upper side breakout, a long stop order is placed at 1XATR above the close, and a short stop order is placed at 2XATR below the close. Conversely, for a lower side breakout, a short stop order is placed at 1XATR below the close, and a long stop order is placed at 2XATR above the ATR. As a trend following method, our first inclination is to trade on the side of breakout and not to find the reversals. Hence, higher multiplier is used for the direction opposite to the breakout.
The script provides users with the option to specify ATR multipliers for both sides.
Once a trade is initiated, the opposite side of the trade is converted into a stop-loss order. In the event of a breakout, the script will either place new long and short stop orders (if no existing trade is present) or update the stop-loss orders if a trade is currently running.
As a trend-following strategy, this script does not rely on specific targets or target levels. The objective is to run the trade as long as possible to generate profits. The trade is only stopped when the stop-loss is triggered, which is updated with every breakout to secure potential gains and minimize risks.
🎲 Default trade parameters
Script uses 10% equity per trade and up to 4 pyramid orders. Hence, the maximum invested amount at a time is 40% of the equity. Due to this, the comparison between buy and hold does not show a clear picture for the trade.
Feel free to explore and optimize the parameters further for your favorite symbols.
🎲 Visual representation
The blue line represents the PercentX Oscillator, orange and lime colored lines represent oscillator ranges. And red/green lines represent oscillator boundaries. Oscillator spikes upon breakout are highlighted with color fills.
Volatility Capture RSI-Bollinger - Strategy [presentTrading]- Introduction and how it is different
The 'Volatility Capture RSI-Bollinger - Strategy ' is a trading strategy that combines the concepts of Bollinger Bands (BB), Relative Strength Index (RSI), and Simple Moving Average (SMA) to generate trading signals. The uniqueness of this strategy is it calculates which is a dynamic level between the upper and lower Bollinger Bands based on the closing price. This unique feature allows the strategy to adapt to market volatility and price movements.
The market in Crypto and Stock are highly volatile, making them suitable for a strategy that uses Bollinger Bands. The RSI can help identify overbought or oversold conditions in this often speculative market.
BTCUSD 4hr chart
(700.hk) 3hr chart
Remember, the effectiveness of a trading strategy also depends on other factors such as the timeframe used, the specific settings of the indicators, and the overall market conditions. It's always recommended to backtest and paper trade a strategy before using it in live trading.
- Strategy, How it Works
Dynamic Bollinger Band: The strategy works by first calculating the upper and lower Bollinger Bands based on the user-defined length and multiplier. It then uses the Bollinger Bands and the closing price to dynamically adjust the presentBollingBand value. In the end, it generates a long signal when the price crosses over the present Bolling Band and a short signal when the price crosses under the present Bolling Band.
RSI: If the user has chosen to use RSI for signals, the strategy also calculates the RSI and its SMA, and uses these to generate additional long and short signals. The RSI-based signals are only used if the 'Use RSI for signals' option is set to true.
The strategy then checks the chosen trading direction and enters a long or short position accordingly. If the trading direction is set to 'Both', the strategy can enter both long and short positions.
Finally, the strategy exits a position when the close price crosses under the present Bolling Band for a long position, or crosses over the present Bolling Band for a short position.
- Trade direction
The strategy also includes a trade direction parameter, allowing the user to choose whether to enter long trades, short trades, or both. This makes the strategy adaptable to different market conditions and trading styles.
- Usage
1. Set the input parameters as per your trading preferences. You can choose the price source, the length of the moving average, the multiplier for the ATR, whether to use RSI for signals, the RSI and SMA periods, the bought and sold range levels, and the trading direction.
2. The strategy will then generate buy and sell signals based on these parameters. You can use these signals to enter and exit trades.
- Default settings
1. Source: hlc3
2. Length: 50
3. Multiplier: 2.7183
4. Use RSI for signals: True
5. RSI Period: 10
6. SMA Period: 5
7. Bought Range Level: 55
8. Sold Range Level: 50
9. Trade Direction: Both
- Strategy's default Properties
1. Default Quantity Type: 'strategy.percent_of_equity'
2. commission_value= 0.1, commission_type=strategy.commission.percent, slippage= 1: These parameters set the commission and slippage for the strategy. The commission is set to 0.1% of the trade value, and the slippage (the difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which the trade is executed) is set to 1.
3. default_qty_type = strategy.percent_of_equity, default_qty_value = 15: These parameters set the default quantity for trades. The default_qty_type is set to strategy.percent_of_equity, which means that the size of each trade will be a percentage of the account equity. The default_qty_value is set to 15, which means that each trade will be 15% of the account equity.
4. initial_capital= 10000: This parameter sets the initial capital for the strategy to $10,000.
Bollinger Bands Modified (Stormer)This strategy is based and shown by trader and investor Alexandre Wolwacz "Stormer".
Overview
The strategy uses two indicators Bollinger Bands and EMA (optional for EMA).
Calculates Bollinger Bands, EMA, highest high, and lowest low values based on the input parameters, evaluating the conditions to determine potential long and short entry signals.
The conditions include checks for crossovers and crossunders of the price with the upper and lower Bollinger Bands, as well as the position of the price relative to the EMA.
The script also incorporates the option to add an inside bar pattern check for additional information.
Entry Position
Long Position:
Price cross over the superior band of bollinger bands.
The EMA is used to add support for trend analysis, it is an optional input, when used, it checks if price is above EMA.
Short Position:
Price cross under the inferior band of bollinger bands.
The EMA is used to add support for trend analysis, it is an optional input, when used, it checks if price is under EMA.
Risk Management
Stop Loss:
The stop loss is calculated based on the input highest high (for short position) and lowest low (for long position).
It gets the length based on the input from the last candles to set which is the highest high and which is the lowest low.
Take Profit:
According to the author, the profit target should be at least 1:1.6 the risk, so to have the strategy mathematically positive.
The profit target is configured input, can be increased or decreased.
It calculates the take profit based on the price of the stop loss with the profit target input.
Strategy Myth-Busting #7 - MACDBB+SSL+VSF - [MYN]This is part of a new series we are calling "Strategy Myth-Busting" where we take open public manual trading strategies and automate them. The goal is to not only validate the authenticity of the claims but to provide an automated version for traders who wish to trade autonomously.
Our seventh one we are automating is the "Magic MACD Indicator: Crazy Accurate Scalping Trading Strategy ( 74% Win Rate )" strategy from "TradeIQ" who claims to have backtested this manually and achieved 427% profit with a 74% winrate over 100 trades in just a 4 months. I was unable to emulate these results consistently accommodating for slippage and commission but even so the results and especially the high win-rate and low markdown is pretty impressive and quite respectable.
This strategy uses a combination of 3 open-source public indicators:
AK MACD BB v 1.00 by Algokid
SSL Hybrid by Mihkel00
Volume Strength Finder by Saravanan_Ragavan
This is considered a trend following Strategy. AK MACD BB is being used as the primary short term trend direction indicator with an interesting approach of using Bollinger Bands to define an upper and lower range and upon the MACD going above the upper Bollinger Bands, it's indicative of an up trend, where as if the MACD is below the lower Bollinger Band, it's indicative of a down trend. To eliminate false signals, SSL Hyrbid is used as a trend confirmation filter, confirming and eliminating false signals from the MACD BB. It does this by validating the price action is above the the EMA and the SSL is positive that is a confirmation of an uptrend. When the price action is below the EMA and the SSL is negative, that is an confirmation of a downtrend. To avoid taking trades during ranged markets, VSF Buyer's Strength is used so the buyers/sellers strength and must be above 50% or the trade will not be inititiated.
Trading Rules
5 min candles but other lower time frames even below 5m work quite well too.
Best results can be found by tweaking these 2 input parameters:
Number Of bars to look back to ensure MACD isn't above/below Zero Line
Number Of bars back to look for SSL pullback
Long Entry when these conditions are true
AK MACD BB BB issues a new continuation long signal. A new green circle must appear on the indicator and these circles should not be touching across the zero level while they were previously red
SSL Hybrid price action closes above the EMA and the line is blue color and then creates a pullback . The pullback is confirmed when the color changes from blue to gray or from blue to red.
VSF Buyers strength above 50% at the time the MACD indicator issues a new long signal.
Short Entry when these conditions are true
AK MACD BB issues a new continuation short signal. A new red circle must appear on the indicator and these circles should not be touching across the zero level while they were previously green
SSL Hybrid price action closes below the EMA and the line is red color then it has to create a pullback . The pullback is confirmed when the color changes from red to gray or from red to blue.
VSF Sellers strength above 50% at the time the MACD indicator issues a new short signal.
Stop Loss at EMA Line with TP Target 1.5x the risk
If you know of or have a strategy you want to see myth-busted or just have an idea for one, please feel free to message me.
Trend #2 - BB+EMAWhat is the Trend #2 - BB+EMA?
This strategy uses a combination of Bollinger Bands and Exponential Moving Averages, and adds the position management skills.
When a position is established, if the price moves in the wrong direction, EMA will move the stop price closer to the opening price, which will reduce losses during the shocks.
If the price moves in the right direction, EMA will be close to the latest price to try to keep the profit.
Once a trend starts to emerge, the strategy is bound to capture the opportunity. I think this is a very smart way to do it.
This strategy performs well in almost all cryptocurrencies, it's mean the strategy has good generalizability.
Bollinger Bands and RSI Short Selling (by Coinrule)The Bollinger Bands are among the most famous and widely used indicators. A Bollinger Band is a technical analysis tool defined by a set of trendlines plotted two standard deviations (positively and negatively) away from a simple moving average ( SMA ) of a security's price, but which can be adjusted to user preferences. They can suggest when an asset is oversold or overbought in the short term, thus provide the best time for buying and selling it.
The relative strength index ( RSI ) is a momentum indicator used in technical analysis . RSI measures the speed and magnitude of a security's recent price changes to evaluate overvalued or undervalued conditions in the price of that security. The RSI can do more than point to overbought and oversold securities. It can also indicate securities that may be primed for a trend reversal or corrective pullback in price. It can signal when to buy and sell. Traditionally, an RSI reading of 70 or above indicates an overbought situation. A reading of 30 or below indicates an oversold condition.
The short order is placed on assets that present strong momentum when it's more likely that it is about to decrease further. The rule strategy places and closes the order when the following conditions are met:
ENTRY
The closing price is greater than the upper standard deviation of the Bollinger Bands
The RSI is less than 70
EXIT
The trade is closed in profit when the RSI is less than 70
Upper standard deviation of the Bollinger Band is greater than the the closing price.
This strategy comes with a stop loss and a take profit, and as you can see by the results, it is well suited for a bear market.
This trade works very well with ETH (1h timeframe), AVA (4h timeframe), and SOL (3h timeframe) and is backtested from the 1 December 2021 to capture how this strategy would perform in a bear market.
To make the results more realistic, the strategy assumes each order to trade 30% of the available capital. A trading fee of 0.1% is taken into account. The fee is aligned to the base fee applied on Binance, which is the largest cryptocurrency exchange.
Steven Primo's bollinger bands strategyHi, this strategy is taken from a video made by Steven Primo. You can look it up on YouTube if you want to know about it.
It is a mean-reversion strategy based on the Bollinger Bands, in which we wait for 5 consecutive closes above the upper band, and for a short-term top. Once it happens, we place an entry order on this top, with a stop at the nearest bottom before the movement started, and use the difference from the stop and entry point to determine the target. For shorting, it's the same process, but for the downside. From my testing, only long orders were profitable, but you can configure whichever you want.
It works well for directional markets with a low level of noise, as you can see with the BTCUSD chart. One of its caveats is the short number of occurrences, and the long stop loss and target. You can enable a trailing stop, but from my testings, it just made the results worse.
I made some modifications, like removing the MA requirement, since the entry point was above it almost all the time, and I forced the BB to use a log version of the prices, so that discrepancies are eliminated. You'll also notice that you can't select an extension that is lower than 100, and that is intentional, since you're not supposed to enter a trade in which you can lose more than what you can earn.
I chose not to implement any kind of risk management, but I might do that in the future. You can leave your suggestions in the comments.

BB + RSI double strategy developeI'm Korean, and it may not be enough to explain this script in English. I feel sorry for the users of TradingView for this lack of English skills. If you are Korean, please return it to the translator using Papago. It will be a useful manual for you.
This script referenced Chartart's Double Strategy. But there are some changes in his script.
0. Basically, when you break through the top or bottom of the 100th period balliser band and come back into the band, you track the overbuying and overselling of the RSI to determine your position entry. The order is triggered only when both conditions are satisfied at the same time. However, only one condition applies to clearing the position. This is because it is most effective in reducing risk and increasing assets in terms of profit and loss.
1. This script is optimized for 15 minutes of bitcoin futures chart and API via webbook alert. By default, 10x leverage usage and 10 pyramids are applied.
2. Setting a chart period other than 15 minutes will not guarantee sufficient effectiveness. It can also be applied to Ethereum , but it is not recommended to apply to other symbols.
3. I added Enable Date Filter because Chartart's script could not apply the strategy to the user's desired period. This feature allows you to set a period of time when you do not want to use the strategy. You can also uncheck it if you don't want to fully use this feature. Please remember that it is an exclusion period, not a usage period. With this feature, we can see the effectiveness of the strategy from a point in time, not from the entire period. You can also clearly differentiate the effectiveness of the strategy from the point you use it.
4. You can also stop using strategies at certain times of the day when you don't want to apply them. This works similarly to the Enalbe Date Filter described above. This allows you to sleep comfortably even if you don't fully trust this strategy.
5. The period, overbuying, and overselling figures of RSI can be set individually. For example, when you take a long position, you can set the RSI to a period of 7, and at the same time, the RSI entering the short position can be set to a period of 14. You can also set the base figures for overbuying and overselling to levels that you think are reasonable. This figure works in conjunction with the Bollinger Band and affects position entry when it is crossed or returned.
6. Based on API futures trading, basic Sleepy and commission are applied. This is geared towards market price transactions. This makes your revenue look more reasonable.
Thank you very much, Chartart. You are a genius.

EMA bands + leledc + bollinger bands trend following strategy v2The basics:
In its simplest form, this strategy is a positional trend following strategy which enters long when price breaks out above "middle" EMA bands and closes or flips short when price breaks down below "middle" EMA bands. The top and bottom of the middle EMA bands are calculated from the EMA of candle highs and lows, respectively.
The idea is that entering trades on breakouts of the high EMAs and low EMAs rather than the typical EMA based on candle closes gives a bit more confirmation of trend strength and minimizes getting chopped up. To further reduce getting chopped up, the strategy defaults to close on crossing the opposite EMA band (ie. long on break above high EMA middle band and close below low EMA middle band).
This strategy works on all markets on all timeframes, but as a trend following strategy it works best on markets prone to trending such as crypto and tech stocks. On lower timeframes, longer EMAs tend to work best (I've found good results on EMA lengths even has high up to 1000), while 4H charts and above tend to work better with EMA lengths 21 and below.
As an added filter to confirm the trend, a second EMA can be used. Inputting a slower EMA filter can ensure trades are entered in accordance with longer term trends, inputting a faster EMA filter can act as confirmation of breakout strength.
Bar coloring can be enabled to quickly visually identify a trend's direction for confluence with other indicators or strategies.
The goods:
Waiting for the trend to flip before closing a trade (especially when a longer base EMA is used) often leaves money on the table. This script combines a number of ways to identify when a trend is exhausted for backtesting the best early exits.
"Delayed bars inside middle bands" - When a number of candle's in a row open and close between the middle EMA bands, it could be a sign the trend is weak, or that the breakout was not the start of a new trend. Selecting this will close out positions after a number of bars has passed
"Leledc bars" - Originally introduced by glaz, this is a price action indicator that highlights a candle after a number of bars in a row close the same direction and result in greatest high/low over a period. It often triggers when a strong trend has paused before further continuation, or it marks the end of a trend. To mitigate closing on false Leledc signals, this strategy has two options: 1. Introducing requirement for increased volume on the Leledc bars can help filter out Leledc signals that happen mid trend. 2. Closing after a number of Leledc bars appear after position opens. These two options work great in isolation but don't perform well together in my testing.
"Bollinger Bands exhaustion bars" - These bars are highlighted when price closes back inside the Bollinger Bands and RSI is within specified overbought/sold zones. The idea is that a trend is overextended when price trades beyond the Bollinger Bands. When price closes back inside the bands it's likely due for mean reversion back to the base EMA in which this strategy will ideally re-enter a position. Since the added RSI requirements often make this indicator too strict to trigger a large enough sample size to backtest, I've found it best to use "non-standard" settings for both the bands and the RSI as seen in the default settings.
"Buy/Sell zones" - Similar to the idea behind using Bollinger Bands exhaustion bars as a closing signal. Instead of calculating off of standard deviations, the Buy/Sell zones are calculated off multiples of the middle EMA bands. When trading beyond these zones and subsequently failing back inside, price may be due for mean reversion back to the base EMA. No RSI filter is used for Buy/Sell zones.
If any early close conditions are selected, it's often worth enabling trade re-entry on "middle EMA band bounce". Instead of waiting for a candle to close back inside the middle EMA bands, this feature will re-enter position on only a wick back into the middle bands as will sometimes happen when the trend is strong.
Any and all of the early close conditions can be combined. Experimenting with these, I've found can result in less net profit but higher win-rates and sharpe ratios as less time is spent in trades.
The deadly:
The trend is your friend. But wouldn't it be nice to catch the trends early? In ranging markets (or when using slower base EMAs in this strategy), waiting for confirmation of a breakout of the EMA bands at best will cause you to miss half the move, at worst will result in getting consistently chopped up. Enabling "counter-trend" trades on this strategy will allow the strategy to enter positions on the opposite side of the EMA bands on either a Leledc bar or Bollinger Bands exhaustion bar. There is a filter requiring either a high/low (for Leledc) or open (for BB bars) outside the selected inner or outer Buy/Sell zone. There are also a number of different close conditions for the counter-trend trades to experiment with and backtest.
There are two ways I've found best to use counter-trend trades
1. Mean reverting scalp trades when a trend is clearly overextended. Selecting from the first 5 counter-trend closing conditions on the dropdown list will usually close the trades out quickly, with less profit but less risk.
2. Trying to catch trends early. Selecting any of the close conditions below the first 5 can cause the strategy to behave as if it's entering into a new trend (from the wrong side).
This feature can be deadly effective in profiting from every move price makes, or deadly to the strategy's PnL if not set correctly. Since counter-trend trades open opposite the middle bands, a stop-loss is recommended to reduce risk. If stop-losses for counter-trend trades are disabled, the strategy will hold a position open often until liquidation in a trending market if th trade is offsides. Note that using a slower base EMA makes counter-trend stop-losses even more necessary as it can reduce the effectiveness of the Buy/Sell zone filter for opening the trades as price can spend a long time trending outside the zones. If faster EMAs (34 and below) are used with "Inner" Buy/Zone filter selected, the first few closing conditions will often trigger almost immediately closing the trade at a loss.
The niche:
I've added a feature to default into longs or shorts. Enabling these with other features (aside from the basic long/short on EMA middle band breakout) tends to break the strategy one way or another. Enabling default long works to simulate trying to acquire more of the asset rather than the base currency. Enabling default short can have positive results for those high FDV, high inflation coins that go down-only for months at a time. Otherwise, I use default short as a hedge for coins that I hold and stake spot. I gain the utility and APR of staking while reducing the risk of holding the underlying asset by maintaining a net neutral position *most* of the time.
Disclaimer:
This script is intended for experimenting and backtesting different strategies around EMA bands. Use this script for your live trading at your own risk. I am a rookie coder, as such there may be errors in the code that cause the strategy to behave not as intended. As far as I can tell it doesn't repaint, but I cannot guarantee that it does not. That being said if there's any question, improvements, or errors you've found, drop a comment below!
Rudy's BB with MartingaleMy first strategy script that uses Bollinger Bands and Martingale to increase contract size after negative profit.
MA Bollinger Bands + RSI This script uses the standard deviation of a given moving average along with an RSI direction.
When: rsi crossover neutral line + price crossover lower deviation boundary => long
When: rsi crossunder neutral line + price crossunder upper deviation boundary => short

The strategy also using BHD unit to detect how big you win and lose, so that you can use this strategy for all coins without worry about it have different percentage of price change.
ENTRY
The buy order is placed on assets that have long-term uptrend and short-term downtrend:
- Long-term uptrend condition: ema200 is going up (rsi200 greater than 51)
- Short-term downtrend condition: 2 last candles are down price (use candlestick for less delay)
CLOSE
The sell order is placed when take profit or stop loss:
- Take profit: price increase 1 BHD unit
- Stop loss: price decrease 2 BHD units
The strategy use $15 and trading fee is 0.1% for each order. So that, in the real-life, if you are using trade bot, it will need $1500 for trading 100 coins at the same time.

HYE Combo Market [Strategy] (Vwap Mean Reversion + Trend Hunter)In this strategy, I used a combination of trend hunter and vwap mean reversion strategies that I published before.
Trend Hunter Strategy:
Mean Reversion Vwap Strategy:
The results are quite impressive, especially for bitcoin.
While the hodl return for bitcoin was 13419%, the strategy's return in the same period was about 5 times (65000%) of this.
s3.tradingview.com
In this combo strategy, I made some changes to the original settings of the strategies used together and added some more new features.
Trend Hunter Strategy Settings: (Original / Combo)
- Slow Tenkansen Period : 9 / 9
- Slow Kijunsen Period : 26 / 13
- Fast Tenkansen Period : 5 / 3
- Fast Kijunsen Period : 13 / 7
- BB Length : 20 / 20
- BB Stdev : 2 / 2
- TSV Length : 13 / 20
- TSV Ema Length : 7 / 7
* I also added a "vidya moving average" to be used as a confirmation tool to open a long position. (Candle close must be above the vidya line.)
Vwap Mean Reversion Strategy Settings: (Original / Combo)
- Small Vwap : 2 / 8
- Big Vwap : 5 / 10
- Percent Below to Buy : 3 / 2
- RSI Period : 2 / 2
- RSI Ema Period : 5 / 5
- Maximum RSI Level for Buy : 30
* I also added a "mean vwap line" to be used for exits in this part of the strategy. In the original version, when small vwap crossovers big vwap, we close the position, but in this strategy we will wait for the close above the mean vwap.
TIPS AND WARNINGS
1-) The standard settings of this combo strategy is designed and tested with daily timeframe. For lower timeframes, you should change the strategy settings and find the best value for yourself.
2-) Only the mean vwap line is displayed on the graph. For a detailed view, you can delete the "//" marks from the plot codes in the strategy code.
3-) This is a strategy for educational and experimental purposes. It cannot be considered as investment advice. You should be careful and make your own risk assessment when opening real market trades using this strategy.
