DAILY Supertrend + EMA Crossover with RSI FilterThis strategy is a technical trading approach that combines multiple indicators—Supertrend, Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), and the Relative Strength Index (RSI)—to identify and manage trades.
Core Components:
1. Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs):
Two EMAs, one with a shorter period (fast) and one with a longer period (slow), are calculated. The idea is to spot when the faster EMA crosses above or below the slower EMA. A fast EMA crossing above the slow EMA often suggests upward momentum, while crossing below suggests downward momentum.
2. Supertrend Indicator:
The Supertrend uses Average True Range (ATR) to establish dynamic support and resistance lines. These lines shift above or below price depending on the prevailing trend. When price is above the Supertrend line, the trend is considered bullish; when below, it’s considered bearish. This helps ensure that the strategy trades only in the direction of the overall trend rather than against it.
3. RSI Filter:
The RSI measures momentum. It helps avoid buying into markets that are already overbought or selling into markets that are oversold. For example, when going long (buying), the strategy only proceeds if the RSI is not too high, and when going short (selling), it only proceeds if the RSI is not too low. This filter is meant to improve the quality of the trades by reducing the chance of entering right before a reversal.
4. Time Filters:
The strategy only triggers entries during user-specified date and time ranges. This is useful if one wants to limit trading activity to certain trading sessions or periods with higher market liquidity.
5. Risk Management via ATR-based Stops and Targets:
Both stop loss and take profit levels are set as multiples of the ATR. ATR measures volatility, so when volatility is higher, both stops and profit targets adjust to give the trade more breathing room. Conversely, when volatility is low, stops and targets tighten. This dynamic approach helps maintain consistent risk management regardless of market conditions.
Overall Logic Flow:
- First, the market conditions are analyzed through EMAs, Supertrend, and RSI.
- When a buy (long) condition is met—meaning the fast EMA crosses above the slow EMA, the trend is bullish according to Supertrend, and RSI is below the specified “overbought” threshold—the strategy initiates or adds to a long position.
- Similarly, when a sell (short) condition is met—meaning the fast EMA crosses below the slow EMA, the trend is bearish, and RSI is above the specified “oversold” threshold—it initiates or adds to a short position.
- Each position is protected by an automatically calculated stop loss and a take profit level based on ATR multiples.
Intended Result:
By blending trend detection, momentum filtering, and volatility-adjusted risk management, the strategy aims to capture moves in the primary trend direction while avoiding entries at excessively stretched prices. Allowing multiple entries can potentially amplify gains in strong trends but also increases exposure, which traders should consider in their risk management approach.
In essence, this strategy tries to ride established trends as indicated by the Supertrend and EMAs, filter out poor-quality entries using RSI, and dynamically manage trade risk through ATR-based stops and targets.
Emacrossover
3 EMA + RSI with Trail Stop [Free990] (LOW TF)This trading strategy combines three Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) to identify trend direction, uses RSI to signal exit conditions, and applies both a fixed percentage stop-loss and a trailing stop for risk management. It aims to capture momentum when the faster EMAs cross the slower EMA, then uses RSI thresholds, time-based exits, and stops to close trades.
Short Explanation of the Logic
Trend Detection: When the 10 EMA crosses above the 20 EMA and both are above the 100 EMA (and the current price bar closes higher), it triggers a long entry signal. The reverse happens for a short (the 10 EMA crosses below the 20 EMA and both are below the 100 EMA).
RSI Exit: RSI crossing above a set threshold closes long trades; crossing below another threshold closes short trades.
Time-Based Exit: If a trade is in profit after a set number of bars, the strategy closes it.
Stop-Loss & Trailing Stop: A fixed stop-loss based on a percentage from the entry price guards against large drawdowns. A trailing stop dynamically tightens as the trade moves in favor, locking in potential gains.
Detailed Explanation of the Strategy Logic
Exponential Moving Average (EMA) Setup
Short EMA (out_a, length=10)
Medium EMA (out_b, length=20)
Long EMA (out_c, length=100)
The code calculates three separate EMAs to gauge short-term, medium-term, and longer-term trend behavior. By comparing their relative positions, the strategy infers whether the market is bullish (EMAs stacked positively) or bearish (EMAs stacked negatively).
Entry Conditions
Long Entry (entryLong): Occurs when:
The short EMA (10) crosses above the medium EMA (20).
Both EMAs (short and medium) are above the long EMA (100).
The current bar closes higher than it opened (close > open).
This suggests that momentum is shifting to the upside (short-term EMAs crossing up and price action turning bullish). If there’s an existing short position, it’s closed first before opening a new long.
Short Entry (entryShort): Occurs when:
The short EMA (10) crosses below the medium EMA (20).
Both EMAs (short and medium) are below the long EMA (100).
The current bar closes lower than it opened (close < open).
This indicates a potential shift to the downside. If there’s an existing long position, that gets closed first before opening a new short.
Exit Signals
RSI-Based Exits:
For long trades: When RSI exceeds a specified threshold (e.g., 70 by default), it triggers a long exit. RSI > short_rsi generally means overbought conditions, so the strategy exits to lock in profits or avoid a pullback.
For short trades: When RSI dips below a specified threshold (e.g., 30 by default), it triggers a short exit. RSI < long_rsi indicates oversold conditions, so the strategy closes the short to avoid a bounce.
Time-Based Exit:
If the trade has been open for xBars bars (configurable, e.g., 24 bars) and the trade is in profit (current price above entry for a long, or current price below entry for a short), the strategy closes the position. This helps lock in gains if the move takes too long or momentum stalls.
Stop-Loss Management
Fixed Stop-Loss (% Based): Each trade has a fixed stop-loss calculated as a percentage from the average entry price.
For long positions, the stop-loss is set below the entry price by a user-defined percentage (fixStopLossPerc).
For short positions, the stop-loss is set above the entry price by the same percentage.
This mechanism prevents catastrophic losses if the market moves strongly against the position.
Trailing Stop:
The strategy also sets a trail stop using trail_points (the distance in price points) and trail_offset (how quickly the stop “catches up” to price).
As the market moves in favor of the trade, the trailing stop gradually tightens, allowing profits to run while still capping potential drawdowns if the price reverses.
Order Execution Flow
When the conditions for a new position (long or short) are triggered, the strategy first checks if there’s an opposite position open. If there is, it closes that position before opening the new one (prevents going “both long and short” simultaneously).
RSI-based and time-based exits are checked on each bar. If triggered, the position is closed.
If the position remains open, the fixed stop-loss and trailing stop remain in effect until the position is exited.
Why This Combination Works
Multiple EMA Cross: Combining 10, 20, and 100 EMAs balances short-term momentum detection with a longer-term trend filter. This reduces false signals that can occur if you only look at a single crossover without considering the broader trend.
RSI Exits: RSI provides a momentum oscillator view—helpful for detecting overbought/oversold conditions, acting as an extra confirmation to exit.
Time-Based Exit: Prevents “lingering trades.” If the position is in profit but failing to advance further, it takes profit rather than risking a trend reversal.
Fixed & Trailing Stop-Loss: The fixed stop-loss is your safety net to cap worst-case losses. The trailing stop allows the strategy to lock in gains by following the trade as it moves favorably, thus maximizing profit potential while keeping risk in check.
Overall, this approach tries to capture momentum from EMA crossovers, protect profits with trailing stops, and limit risk through both a fixed percentage stop-loss and exit signals from RSI/time-based logic.

How It Works
The TQQQ EMA Crossover Strategy operates by calculating two EMAs: a fast EMA (default length of 20) and a slow EMA (default length of 50). The core concept is based on the crossover of these two moving averages:
- When the fast EMA crosses above the slow EMA, it generates a *buy signal*, indicating a potential upward trend.
- Conversely, when the fast EMA crosses below the slow EMA, it produces a *sell signal*, suggesting a potential downward trend.
This method allows traders to capitalize on momentum shifts in the market, providing timely signals for trade execution.
Trading Ideas and Insights
Traders can leverage the TQQQ EMA Crossover Strategy in various market conditions. Here are some insights:
**Scalping Opportunities:** The strategy is particularly effective for scalping in volatile markets, allowing traders to make quick profits on small price movements.
**Swing Trading:** Longer-term traders can use this strategy to identify significant trend reversals and capitalize on larger price swings.
**Risk Management:** By incorporating customizable stop loss and take profit levels, traders can manage their risk effectively while maximizing potential returns.
How Multiple Indicators Work Together
While this strategy primarily relies on EMAs, it can be enhanced by integrating additional indicators such as:

JS-TechTrading: Supertrend-Strategy_Basic versionAre you looking for a reliable and profitable algorithmic trading strategy for TradingView? If so, you might be interested in our Supertrend basic strategy, which is based on three powerful indicators: Supertrend (ATR), RSI and EMA.
Supertrend is a trend-following indicator that helps you identify the direction and strength of the market. It also gives you clear signals for entry and exit points based on price movements.
RSI is a momentum indicator that measures the speed and change of price movements. It helps you filter out false signals and avoid overbought or oversold conditions.
EMA is a moving average indicator that smooths out price fluctuations and shows you the long-term trend of the market. It helps you confirm the validity of your trades and avoid trading against the trend.
Our Supertrend basic strategy combines these three indicators to give you a simple yet effective way to trade any market. Here's how it works:
- For long trades, you enter when the price is above Supertrend and pulls back below it (the low of the candle crosses Supertrend) and then rebounds above it (the high of the next candle goes above the pullback candle). You exit when the price closes below Supertrend or when you reach your target profit or stop loss.
- For short trades, you enter when the price is below Supertrend and pulls back above it (the high of the candle crosses Supertrend) and then drops below it (the low of the next candle goes below the pullback candle). You exit when the price closes above Supertrend or when you reach your target profit or stop loss.
- You can also use RSI and EMA filters to improve your results. For long trades, you only enter if RSI is above 50 and price is above 200 EMA. For short trades, you only enter if RSI is below 50 and price is below 200 EMA.
- You can set your stop loss and target profit as a percentage of your entry price or based on other criteria. You can also adjust the parameters of each indicator according to your preferences and risk tolerance.
Our Supertrend basic strategy is easy to use and has been tested on various markets and time frames. It can help you capture consistent profits while minimizing your losses.
The Flash-Strategy (Momentum-RSI, EMA-crossover, ATR)The Flash-Strategy (Momentum-RSI, EMA-crossover, ATR)
Are you tired of manually analyzing charts and trying to find profitable trading opportunities? Look no further! Our algorithmic trading strategy, "Flash," is here to simplify your trading process and maximize your profits.
Flash is an advanced trading algorithm that combines three powerful indicators to generate highly selective and accurate trading signals. The Momentum-RSI, Super-Trend Analysis and EMA-Strategy indicators are used to identify the strength and direction of the underlying trend.
The Momentum-RSI signals the strength of the trend and only generates trading signals in confirmed upward or downward trends. The Super-Trend Analysis confirms the trend direction and generates signals when the price breaks through the super-trend line. The EMA-Strategy is used as a qualifier for the generation of trading signals, where buy signals are generated when the EMA crosses relevant trend lines.
Flash is highly selective, as it only generates trading signals when all three indicators align. This ensures that only the highest probability trades are taken, resulting in maximum profits.
Our trading strategy also comes with two profit management options. Option 1 uses the so-called supertrend-indicator which uses the dynamic ATR as a key input, while option 2 applies pre-defined, fixed SL and TP levels.
The settings for each indicator can be customized, allowing you to adjust the length, limit value, factor, and source value to suit your preferences. You can also set the time period in which you want to run the backtest and how many dollar trades you want to open in each position for fully automated trading.
Choose your preferred trade direction and stop-loss/take-profit settings, and let Flash do the rest. Say goodbye to manual chart analysis and hello to consistent profits with Flash. Try it now!
General Comments
This Flash Strategy has been developed in cooperation between Baby_whale_to_moon and JS-TechTrading. Cudos to Baby_whale_to_moon for doing a great job in transforming sophisticated trading ideas into pine scripts.
Detailed Description
The “Flash” script considers the following indicators for the generation of trading signals:
1. Momentum-RSI
2. ‘Super-Trend’-Analysis
3. EMA-Strategy
1. Momentum-RSI
• This indicator signals the strength of the underlying upward- or downward-trend.
• The signal range of this indicator is from 0 to 100. Values > 60 indicate a confirmed upward- or downward-trend.
• The strategy will only generate trading signals in case the stock (or any other financial security) is in a confirmed upward- (long entry signals) or downward-trend (short entry signals).
• This indicator provides information with regards to the strength of the underlying trend and it does not give any insight with regard to the direction of the trend. Therefore, this strategy also considers other indicators which provide technical confirmation with regards to the direction of the underlying trend.
Graph 1 shows this concept:
• The Momentum-RSI indicator gives lower readings during consolidation phases and no trading signals are generated during these periods.
Example (graph 2):
2. Super-Trend Analysis
• The red line in the graph below represents the so-called super-trend-line. Trading signals are only generated in case the price action breaks through this super-trend-line indicating a new confirmed upward-trend (or downward-trend, respectively).
• If that happens, the super trend-line changes its color from red to green, giving confirmation that the trend changed from bearish to bullish and long-entries can be considered.
• The vice-versa approach can be considered for short entries.
Graph 3 explains this concept:
3. Exponential Moving Average / EMA-Strategy
The functionality of this EMA-element of the strategy has been programmed as follows:
• The exponential moving average and two other trend lines are being used as qualifiers for the generation of trading-signals.
• Buy-signals for long-entries are only considered in case the EMA (yellow line in the graph below) crosses the red line.
• Sell-signals for short-entries are only considered in case the EMA (yellow line in the graph below) crosses the green line.
An example is shown in graph 4 below:
We use this indicator to determine the new trend direction that may occur by using the data of the price's past movement.
4. Bringing it all together
This section describes in detail, how this strategy combines the Momentum-RSI, the super-trend analysis and the EMA-strategy.
The strategy only generates trading-signals in case all of the following conditions and qualifiers are being met:
1. Momentum-RSI is higher than the set value of this strategy. The standard and recommended value is 60 (graph 5):
2. The super-trend analysis needs to indicate a confirmed upward-trend (for long-entry signals) or a confirmed downward-trend (for short-entry signals), respectively.
3. The EMA-strategy needs to indicate that the stock or financial security is in a confirmed upward-trend (long-entries) or downward-trend (short-entries), respectively.
The strategy will only generate trading signals if all three qualifiers are being met. This makes this strategy highly selective and is the key secret for its success.
Example for Long-Entry (graph 6):
When these conditions are met, our Long position is opened.
Example for Short-Entry (graph 7):
Trade Management Options (graph 8)
Option 1
In this dynamic version, the so-called supertrend-indicator is being used for the trade exit management. This supertrend-indicator is a sophisticated and optimized methodology which uses the dynamic ATR as one of its key input parameters.
The following settings of the supertrend-indicator can be changed and optimized (graph 9):
The dynamic SL/TP-lines of the supertrend-indicator are shown in the charts. The ATR-length and the supertrend-factor result in a multiplier value which can be used to fine-tune and optimize this strategy based on the financial security, timeframe and overall market environment.
Option 2 (graph 10):
Option 2 applies pre-defined, fixed SL and TP levels which will appear as straight horizontal lines in the chart.
Settings options (graph 11):
The following settings can be changed for the three elements of this strategy:
1. (Length Mom-Rsi): Length of our Mom-RSI indicator.
2. Mom-RSI Limit Val: the higher this number, the more momentum of the underlying trend is required before the strategy will start creating trading signals.
3. The length and factor values of the super trend indicator can be adjusted:ATR Length SuperTrend and Factor Super Trend
4. You can set the source value used by the ema trend indicator to determine the ema line: Source Ema Ind
5. You can set the EMA length and the percentage value to follow the price: Length Ema Ind and Percent Ema Ind
6. The backtesting period can be adjusted: Start and End time of BackTest
7. Dollar cost per position: this is relevant for 100% fully automated trading.
8. Trade direction can be adjusted: LONG, SHORT or BOTH
9. As we explained above, we can determine our stop-loss and take-profit levels dynamically or statically. (Version 1 or Version 2 )
Display options on the charts graph 12):
1. Show horizontal lines for the Stop-Loss and Take-profit levels on the charts.
2. Display relevant Trend Lines, including color setting options for the supertrend functionality. In the example below, green lines indicate a confirmed uptrend, red lines indicate a confirmed downtrend.
Other comments
• This indicator has been optimized to be applied for 1 hour-charts. However, the underlying principles of this strategy are supply and demand in the financial markets and the strategy can be applied to all timeframes. Daytraders can use the 1min- or 5min charts, swing-traders can use the daily charts.
• This strategy has been designed to identify the most promising, highest probability entries and trades for each stock or other financial security.
• The combination of the qualifiers results in a highly selective strategy which only considers the most promising swing-trading entries. As a result, you will normally only find a low number of trades for each stock or other financial security per year in case you apply this strategy for the daily charts. Shorter timeframes will result in a higher number of trades / year.
• Consequently, traders need to apply this strategy for a full watchlist rather than just one financial security.

ALMA/EMA/SRSI Strategy + IndicatorBack with another great high hit rate strategy!!
Disclaimer* This strategy was sampled using source code written by @ClassicScott , as referred to in the script, there is a clear line where the source code was scripted by myself.
This Strategy consists of three key factors, the ALMA, EMA crossover, and a Stochastic Rsi
ALMA: The Alma is the step line shown, turning green and red at select times. This average value gives general oversight of the macro movement of price action. and this particular one was coded by Mr.ClassicScott.
EMA crossover: At the input screen you are given an option of the fast and slow ema's. The default is solely for the hit rate and correlation to the Alma of this strategy. The arrows you see depicted on the chart are the crossover events happening.
Stochastic Rsi: The Stochastic Rsi is a stochastic value, using data sampled from the rsi. The use of this indicator in my strategy is to prevent entries when too overbought and oversold, as well as closures and vice versa, to prevent holding bags either way.
Fixed % TP: In the input screen you are given a take profit and stop loss percentage, for good R/R the hit rate will take a notch down, but with no R/R it will be near perfect.
How to use this:
Add it to your chart to get the strategy inputs. (The strategy is really only useful on a 15min TF. However the indicator within it can be used on anything at anytime!)
Watch the yellow and aqua moving averages, these are your ema's and crossover's will trigger signals based on your integer inputs.
Find Correlation between other leading indicators, as well as crossover's down/up and a red/green alma.
DO NOT use the arrows as buy/sell signals. These are simply to show ema's are crossing under or over. Momentum indicator's paired with this can be useful to determine if it could be a buy signal or sell signal.

Vin's Playzone Strategy How it works
Playzone is a very simple system, utilizing just two exponential moving
averages. The 'Zones' in which different 'actions' should be taken is
highlighted with different colors on the chart. Calculations for the zones
are based on the relative position of price to the two EMA lines and the
relationship between the two EMAs
How to use
The basic method for using Playzone is to follow the green/red color.
Buy when bar closes in green.
Sell when bar closes in red.
Using it this way is safe but slow and is expected to have around 35-40%
accuracy, while yielding around 2-3 profit factors. The system works best
on larger time frames.
The more advanced method uses the zones to switch between different
trading system and biases, or in conjunction with other indicators.
example 1:
Buy when Yellow-Green and Bullish Divergence between price and RSI is visible,
if not Buy on Green and vise-versa
example 2:
Set up a long-biased grid and trade long only when actionzone is in green
change the bias to short when actionzone turns to te bearish side(red)
(Look at colors on a larger time frame)

EMA crossover (daily TF)This strategy is only applicable for daily timeframe only. EMAs have been smoothened out to make sure to include volatility glitches that may occur. I have used following conditions:
>EMA crossover of two frames already occurred
> Significant volume in the candle
> Candles are properly bullish or bearish not doji
> price is near EMA crossover
> trading stoploss to reduce risk as price follows the trend
Positive feedbacks are welcome for incorporation.

Momentum Trading By Mahfuz AzimA following indicator is Momentum Trading that uses fast QQE crosses with Moving Averages
Use for trend direction filtering. QQE or Qualitative Quantitative Estimation is based
Relative strength index (RSI), but uses a smoothing technique as an additional transformation. Three crosses can be selected (all selected by default)
CCI & EMA strategy by TradeswithashishThis strategy is extremely useful for positional traders or traders using timeframe 15-minute of higher. It uses following combo of values:
VWAP, CCI, Volume and Moving average (simple and exponential)
Caution:
Avoid taking trade if candle size is greater than twice the average candle size. for that wait for the retracement to near trailing stoploss

Double EMA CROSS
Double EMA CROSS (DEC)
Useful for identifying and receiving alerts about uptrends and downtrends.
This script uses two Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) to find price uptrends and downtrends.
An Exponential Moving Average ( EMA ) is a type of moving average that places a greater weight and significance on the most recent data points.
The script produces uptrend and downtrend signals based on crossovers and divergences between the two EMAs,
the user will be able to spot a trend change (when the EMAs crossover) and to determine the strength of the current trend (when the EMAs diverge).
It is also posible to get alerts for uptrends and downtrends on the web and mobile app with sound and pop-ups as well as via email.
The optimal time to enter and exit the market can be concluded from this trend changes.
The user can set their own EMAs, by default they are set to 25 and 75 periods for medium and long term respectively.
When the medium term EMA crosses below the long term EMA the asset is in a downtrend and the price will decline, and when the
medium term EMA crosses above the long term EMA the asset is in an uptrend and price will increase.
This scripts plots the following indicators and signals on the chart to help the user to identify trends:
1.- Medium and long term EMAs as lines overlaid on the price chart.
2.- Up green triangles above bars when the price is on an uptrend and down red triangles below bars when the price is on a downtrend.
3.- Arrows with text to indicate the start of an uptrend or downtrend.
The user can enable and disable the indicators and signals as well as set colors and shapes to their liking.
This script also lets the user create alerts for uptrends and downtrends. To create a new alert using this script follow this instructions:
1.- Once you added this script to your chart, go to the alerts panel (right on web or bottom tool bar on the mobile app) and add a new alert (alarm clock icon with a plus sign).
2.- A modal window will open. On the “Condition” dropdown menu select “DEC”.
3.- On the next dropdown menu (right below the “Condition” one) you can select.
4.- Lastly you can set all the normal alert options and create the alert.

[Prod] SuperTrend with Stoploss+TrendZones - 1HHere, i'm using a SuperTrend (difference of moving averages) crossover strategy hybrid with stop-loss and trend-following to look at backtesting for the BCHUSD pair on the coinbase (GDAX) exchange.
Included in this script I've got some optimized parameters that seem to make a decent profit over ~35+ trades. The one thing that's bothering me here is that I get OCCASIONAL repaint issues with back-testing, but I can't figure out why for the life of me, because i'm using V3 in the start of the script. If someone could point out the mistake I may be making here , I feel like this could be a serious strategy to use against the BCHUSD pair on coinbase or other exchanges (with tuning of course).
I based this script off of with lots of modifications.
