Magnetick Confluence [MagnetickAI]

21
Magnetick Confluence takes 5 common technical factors and combines them into a single score from -100 to +100. The idea is simple: when most factors agree on direction, conviction is higher. When they disagree, it's probably not the time to force a trade.

THE 5 FACTORS

Each contributes up to +/-20 points (weights are configurable):

1. EMA Trend — 9/21 EMA alignment + slope direction. Full score when fast > slow with rising slope; half score when alignment and slope disagree.

2. RSI Momentum — Scores highest in the 55-70 range (bullish) and 30-45 range (bearish). RSI above 70 or below 30 scores zero — overbought/oversold extremes are ambiguous for entries.

3. VWAP Position — How far price is from session VWAP, measured in ATR units. Being 0.5+ ATR above VWAP scores higher than being just slightly above.

4. Volume Confirmation — Relative volume (session cumulative vs average) combined with bar direction. High volume on a bullish bar = bullish confirmation. High volume on a bearish bar = bearish. Low volume = no confirmation either way.

5. Opening Range — Where price sits relative to the first 15-minute range. Above the OR = bullish; below = bearish; inside = partial score based on which half.

SCORE ZONES

Above +60: Strong Bullish — most factors agree, bullish
+20 to +60: Lean Bullish — slight bullish tilt, some disagreement
-20 to +20: Neutral — factors are mixed, no clear direction
-60 to -20: Lean Bearish — slight bearish tilt, some disagreement
Below -60: Strong Bearish — most factors agree, bearish

HOW TO USE IT

Think of the score as a quick summary, not a signal. A score above +60 means EMA, RSI, VWAP, volume, and price structure are mostly pointing the same direction — that's useful context if you're considering a long entry. A score near zero means signals are contradictory, which is a reason to wait.

The factor breakdown table (top-right) shows each component's raw score and weighted contribution. If the total score is +40 but volume is -20, you can see that volume is the dissenting factor and decide if that matters to your setup.

You can adjust the weights to reflect your own priorities. If you care more about trend alignment than volume, increase the EMA weight and decrease the Volume weight.

FACTOR BREAKDOWN TABLE

A compact table shows each factor's raw score (-1 to +1) and weighted contribution, so you can see what's driving the total and what's dragging it down.

ALERTS

- Score crosses above +60 (strong bullish alignment)
- Score crosses below -60 (strong bearish alignment)
- Score crosses zero (directional shift)

LIMITATIONS

- The score is a weighted sum of 5 heuristic factors — it's a simplification, not a model of market dynamics
- Default weights (20 each) are equal and arbitrary. Tune them to your trading style.
- The VWAP and Opening Range factors are only meaningful during regular trading hours
- Volume factor can be noisy in the first few minutes of the session
