EMA 8 Adaptive VWAP/SMA Strategy
This strategy includes an 8 period Exponential Moving Average with a Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP) reset at key market open times (UK & NYE). The VWAP is recalculated at key market open times (UK & NYSE). The VWAP is recalculated daily based on intraday price action to offer clearer price tracking during volatile sessions.
The Strategy includes:
1. EMA8 (Red): Tracks short-term price movement to capture trend reversals.
SMA21 (Dark Blue): Smoother than the EMA, it provides longer-term trend signals.
VWAP (Black): Reset both the UK & NYSE market opens for more intraday price analysis.
14-period ATR: Added for volatility-based insights and potential stop placement.
The buy and sell signals are triggered when the EMA8 crosses above or below the VWAP, with signals specifically plotted on the 30-Minute timeframe for increased accuracy. Traders can use this information to time entries on lower timeframes while relying on stronger M30 signals for overall trend confirmation.
This strategy is ideal for day traders looking for adaptive signals in both trending and consolidating markets.
