Deep Value Driller AS - Dividend of NOK 0.20 per share declared
Oslo, 3 July 2025: Reference is made to the stock exchange notice by DeepValueDriller AS ("DVD" or the "Company") on 4 October 2024 regarding the updateddividend distribution policy of DVD. Reference is further made to the boardauthorisation granted by DVD's annual general meeting on 6 June 2025 toresolveand distribute dividends in line with the Company's dividend policy based ontheannual accounts for 2024.
As set out in the Company's stock exchange notice of 4 October 2024, DVD'sdividend distribution policy is to pay monthly dividends to DVD's shareholdersfrom the group's operational free cash flow, after tax and debt service,subjectto the discretion of the board. The board intends to distribute a monthlydividend of NOK 0.25 per share. However, as the dividend is declared in NOK,while the group's operational currency is in USD, the dividend amount will becontingent upon the prevailing NOK/USD exchange rates at the time of thedividend distribution.
Based on the NOK/USD exchange rate as of 2 July 2025, DVD's board of directorshas today resolved to distribute a dividend in the amount of NOK 0.20 pershare,in total approximately NOK 18.6 million, for July 2025. The dividend isexpectedto be paid on or about 10 July 2025 and will be regarded as repayment ofpaid-incapital by the shareholders of the Company. DVD notes that pursuant to theCompany's loan facility, as amended 14 April 2025, the Company is required toretain an amount equal to 12 months' of interest payments which is notavailablefor distribution.
