There are many similarities between 2019's Tezos and 2015's Ethereum:
- their relative market cap with respect to BTC and crypto in general is approximately equal.
- they both were maybe the flagship ICO of their time.
- as far as I can recall, the sentiment regarding the projects is about the same.
- fundamentally, the projects are strong and seem to 'deserve' a higher market cap, but for ETH that did not come to fruition before the entire market started moving.
- going off this projection, the projects could be approximately in the same phase of a cycle, comparing it with BTC's cycle. ETH started gain lots of ground a year after BTC bottomed.
This leads me to believe that Tezos could see a blistering run when the market starts to heat up more and alts rise from their depression phase.
As we have experienced often enough, the altcoins market cycle lags the bitcoin cycle somewhat.
This is a long-term trade with many possible bumps in the road. Making projections like these helps keeping focus on fundamentals and the long term in general.
