This chart has shown the complete movement of VIX from November 2021 to the current time period.
From the support line, I am thinking currently it’s a good idea to engage in volatility index. When I look at the previous two times when VIX retraced back to the support, I am noticing a 35%ish spike in 6-7 days, and then fell back to the Fib .786 level.
Thus, I am looking to purchase some VX, and once VIX hits around the 35% target, I would close 70% of them and will look to re-enter at around $21.
The long term I am aiming at 42ish, which is a 120%ish spike from the lowest point, corresponding to the previous two movements as well. UVXY could be a good tool to play with, and let’s see how it goes.
