crude shows a potential breakout setup. The blue horizontal bar forms S/R, which formed from the previous wave (summer 2017-Jan. 2018) high. Anything above that bar breakout setup territory.
We have already seen a retest of that area. If crude is up to significantly higher levels, the time is ripe for takeoff now. The light green trend channel should roughly hold in that case. Yesterday's swing low must hold or our trade idea here is dead!
Target: Deep inside 70s
S/L: 67.50

Crude could not confirm its momentum to the upside. The bulls fumbled the ball here. The story is not over yet but we see 50/50 odds for a stronger correction before price action to the upside resumes.
We are not in the gambling business and like to see higher odds in order to enter a trade. Therefore, we took the stop here and continue to closely watch crude.
