End of Day Review & Analysis of Nifty BankNifty for Jan 1, 2024

Nifty opened flat remained side ways most of the day till post noon to pick up and make new high in later part and with profit booking to close flat. Price action was not serious as volumes were thin and formed a doji candle showing uncertainty at new high. Future Open Interest saw very small addition with flat price.
BankNifty also opened flat to move up post noon but couldn’t make new high and saw profit booking to settle flat by close. Price action was not significant because of thin volumes as most world markets were closed on account of New Year day.
