NASDAQ in 2000 - a bear market rally that rekt the shorts

Amid the Dotcom collapse, NASDAQ had a massive 43% rally from May to September 2000. Even in a bear market shorting is risky and the risk management critical more than ever. In September 2000 the bear market resumed but the shorts had to withstand a bear market rally, for some it was too late, see below.
