Going short due to trendline holding up

This is just an idea. Its not to be taken as signal. I'm just starting out. Took short due to a doji on the 4H at the trendline. And it failed to break the trendline so I decided to go short with a risk reward ratio of 1:2.
Please share your thoughts and analysis and correct me if I'm wrong anywhere.
