$ETH likes to respect the fib levels. If $ETH surges beyond $3477, the 0.236 fib retracement level since the last ATH, one is likely to see a new ATH. $ETH stayed only a few candles above this level the last time but moved rapidly to $4300 when it did. If $BTC shows a power move and $ETH also breaks through $3477, the likelihood of a new all time high is very high.
