DXY - Daily - Has the time finally come?
We have observing this down slide of the US Dollar and how other currencies have risen against it. But has the time come already or we will still see some moves to the downside?
Well, only Trump knows =)
I mean, we should have expected a drop in the US Dollar after he came to power. All those promises of increasing US manufacturing and creating more jobs have to come with a sacrifice... of the dollar... How else will you become more attractive on the global arena if your produce is way too expensive? I know, a lot of people will argue with me, will say that there other factors. Yes, I agree. But if you don't over complicate and look into it from a simplistic point of you, then that's kind it.
I think the US Dollar might have a bit of recovery, otherwise everyone will start blaming Mr Trump for devaluing all those US presidents on that piece of paper. Oh, and also because it will be more expensive for US citizen to go abroad for holidays.
