Most traders probably do not recognize prominent behaviors many times...and this will lead to misreads of the market, poor judgment regarding trade entry, targets, and even miscalculating the most likely direction of the market. There are some markets where oscillators with be predictably not helpful...and even counterproductive and many traders using oscillators are unaware of this or not factoring it into their strategy. Different markets trade differently.
