AMD appears to be breaking upward out of its month-long downward-sloping channel. It broke the channel briefly an hour or two ago, then pulled back a bit, then surged back up through the channel top. I'm not sure if we'll pause here or continue upward to 30.29 by market close, but I suspect the latter. Regardless, if an interim trade deal does get signed, AMD will be a big winner for the next week or so. If an interim deal doesn't get signed, AMD will erase these gains overnight.

AMD is showing strength today on news that its newest processor in development is once again beating Intel by wide margins. AMD seems to be winning the chip wars quite handily of late.
