The script scans for swing highs/lows using your Swing Period.
When market direction flips (new pivot confirmed), the indicator anchors a new VWAP at that pivot and starts tracking from there.

From each anchor , VWAP is computed using a decay model (recent price×volume matters more; older data matters less).
Adaptive Price Tracking lets you set the base responsiveness in “bars.” Lower = more reactive, higher = smoother.
Volatility Adjustment (ATR vs Avg ATR) can automatically speed up the VWAP during spikes and slow it during compression, so the line stays relevant to live conditions.
█ Why This Adaptive Approach Beats a Simple VWAP
Standard VWAP is cumulative from the anchor point. As time passes and volume accumulates, it often drifts far from current price, especially in prolonged trends or multi-session moves. That drift makes retests rare and unreliable.
Dynamic Swing Anchored VWAP solves this in two ways:
⚪ Event-Driven Anchoring (Swings):
By restarting at fresh swing highs/lows, the VWAP reference reflects today’s structure. You get frequent, meaningful retests because the anchor stays near the action.
⚪ Adaptive Responsiveness (Volatility-Aware):
Markets don’t move at one speed. When volatility expands, a fixed VWAP lags; when volatility contracts, it can overreact to noise. Here, the “tracking speed” can auto-adjust using ATR vs its average.
High Volatility → faster tracking: VWAP hugs price more tightly, preserving retest relevance.
Low Volatility → smoother tracking: VWAP filters chop and stays stable.
Result: A VWAP that follows price more accurately, creating plenty of credible retest opportunities and more trustworthy mean-reversion/continuation reads than a simple, ever-growing VWAP.

How Does It Work? (Technical Logic)
1. Level Detection
For each selected timeframe, the script detects S/R levels using:
SW (Swing High/Low): Recent price pivots where reversals occurred.
Pivot: Classic floor trader pivots (P, S1, R1).
Fib (Fibonacci): Key retracement levels (0.236, 0.382, 0.5, 0.618, 0.786) over the last 50 bars.
Bull OB / Bear OB: Institutional price zones based on bullish/bearish engulfing patterns.
VWAP / POC: Volume Weighted Average Price and Point of Control over the last 50 bars.
2. Level Clustering
Levels within a user-defined % distance are merged into a single “zone.”
Each zone records which methods and timeframes contributed to it.
3. Confluence & Reaction Scoring
Confluence: The number of unique methods/timeframes in agreement for a zone.
Reactions: The number of times price has touched or reversed at the zone in the recent past (user-defined lookback).
4. Filtering & Sorting
Only zones within a user-defined % of the current price are shown (to focus on actionable areas).
Zones can be sorted by confluence, reaction count, or proximity to price.
5. Visualization
Zones: Shaded boxes on the chart (green for support, red for resistance, blue for mixed).
Lines: Mark the exact level of each zone.
Labels: Show level, methods by timeframe (e.g., 15m (3 SW), 30m (1 VWAP)), and (if applicable) Fibonacci ratios.
Dashboard Table: Lists all nearby zones with full details.
6. Alerts
Optional alerts trigger when price approaches a zone with confluence above a user-set threshold.

You avoid chart clutter and the risk of forgetting to reset your manual VWAP at the correct bar.
Why Combine Multiple Anchored VWAP Lines in One Script? - Viewing several anchored VWAP lines together offers synergy . You see not only the current VWAP but also previous ones from different sessions or months, all within the same chart pane. This synergy becomes apparent if multiple historical VWAP lines cluster near the same price level, indicating a potentially significant zone of volume-based support or resistance. Handling this manually would involve repeatedly setting separate VWAP indicators, each reset at specific points, which is time-consuming and prone to error. In this script, the process is automated: as soon as the anchor changes, a completed VWAP line is stored so you can observe how price eventually reacts to it, repeatedly or not at all.
Automated “Test” Detection - Once a historical VWAP line is set, the script tracks when price crosses it in subsequent bars. If the high and low of a bar span that line, the script marks it in red (both the line and its label). It also keeps a counter of how many times each line has been tested. Hide VWAP on Day timeframe and above : Lets you disable the primary VWAP plot on daily or higher timeframes for a cleaner view.
Anchor Period : Select from Session, Week, Month, Quarter, Year, Decade or Century. Controls how frequently the script resets and preserves the VWAP line.
Offset : Moves the current VWAP line by a specified number of bars if you need a shifted perspective.
Max Array Size : Caps how many past VWAP lines the script will remember. Prevents clutter if you’re charting very long histories.
Max Distance : Defines how far back (in bar index units) a line is kept. If a line’s start bar is older than this threshold, it’s removed, keeping the chart uncluttered.
Max Red Labels : Limits the number of tested (red) VWAP lines that appear. If price tests a large number of old lines, only the newest red labels remain once you hit the set limit.
Workflow Overview
As soon as a new anchor period begins (e.g., a new weekly candle if “Week” is chosen), the script ends the current VWAP and stores that final value in its internal arrays.
It creates a dotted line and label representing the completed VWAP, and keeps track of whether it has been tested or not.
Subsequent bars may then cross that line. If a bar’s high/low includes the line’s value, it’s flagged as tested, labeled red, and a test counter increases.
As new anchored periods come, old lines remain visible—unless they fall outside your maxDistance or you exceed the maximum stored line count.
Real-World Benefits
Combining multiple VWAP lines—ranging, for example, from session-based lines for intraday perspectives to monthly or quarterly lines for broader context—provides a layered view of the volume-based fair price. VWAP with CharacterizationThis indicator is a visual representation of the VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price), it calculates the weighted average price based on trading volume. Essentially, it provides a measure of the average price at which an asset has traded during a given period, but with a particular focus on trading volume. In our case, the indicator calculates the VWAP for the current trading symbol, using a predefined simple moving average (SMA) with a period of 14. This volume-weighted moving average offers a clearer view of the behavior of the VWAP and, of consequence of market dynamics.
One of the distinctive features of this indicator is its ability to provide a more "linear" representation of the data. This means that the data is "smoothed" to remove noise, allowing you to more easily identify the direction of the market trend. This smoother representation is especially useful because the financial market can be subject to significant fluctuations and volatility, and this indicator can help get a more stable view of the trend.
The indicator also offers a visualization of the market trend in a very intuitive way. Using an evaluation of the highs and lows of the last 10 days, determine whether the market is in an uptrend, downtrend, or no trend at all. To make this evaluation even clearer and more immediate, the indicator line is colored dynamically. When the trend is bullish, the line is blue, while in case of a bearish trend, it takes on a distinctive color, such as pink. If the trend is not defined, the line will be colored differently, for example light yellow. In this case, we would look to take advantage of the expected continuation of the downtrend.
In both cases, the idea is to exploit significant movements across the VWAP line as signals of potential reversal or continuation of the trend. This strategy can help identify key entry points based on price behavior relative to the VWAP line.

This is achieved by calculating the angle between the current VWAP and its previous value over a customizable lookback period and normalizing it with ATR
By analyzing the angle, we can gain an understanding of the strength and direction of the VWAP, which can help them identify potential trend reversals or continuations.
After observing the market over a lengthy period, I have come to realize that as the angle increases above 65 or decreases under -65 , it confirms a higher likelihood of a trend reversal.

RD Key Levels (Weekly, Daily, Previous vWAP)The RexDog Key Levels indicator plots the weekly open, daily open, and the previous day vWAP close.
These are all critical price levels (zones) to know when trading any market or instrument. These areas are also high probability reaction areas that you can trade using simple confirmation trading patterns.
First, I'll cover an overview of the indicator then I'll share general usage tips.
Weekly Open - default is white/orange. White is when price is above the weekly open. Orange is when price is below the weekly open.
Weekly High/Low - there are options to turn on the weekly high and lows. Default plot is circles. Green is the high. Red is the low.
Daily Open - default is green/red. Green is when price is above the daily open. Red is when price is below the daily open.
Previous vWAPs - aqua single lines. These are the closing price of the daily vWAPs.
Top Indicators - The triangles at the top of the chart signify is price is currently above or below the weekly open. This is helpful on lower timeframe charts (5m, 15m) to get a quick indication when price is far extended beyond the weekly open. Green triangle = above weekly open. Red triangle = below weekly open.
General Usage
Each one of these levels are important levels markets look use for continuation or failure of momentum and bias. I also find it extremely helpful to think of these levels as magnets, dual magnets. They both attract and repel price at the same time. Now you might say, how is that helpful to have opposing views at the same time? Be indifferent to direction, create your own rules on when these price zones repel or attract price, I have my own.
Here's the easiest way to use these price levels.
As price approaches one of these levels to expect a reaction. A reaction is price is going in one direction and price hits a price level zone and reacts in the opposite direction.
These are price zones, sometimes you will see a reaction right at the price but visualize these areas as zones of reaction.
A high percentage of the time when price approaches these level zones there will be a reaction. So trade the reaction .
How do you do that?
Simple. Trade patterns that repeat. I have 3 solid patterns I trade around these key levels:
The first pattern is early entry with precise scale in rules and a very effective protective stop loss placement.
The second pattern is wait for confirmation that the level holds. This requires more patience and for you to fully trust the chart. The benefit of this pattern is with confirmation you have even more precise stop placement.
There is a bonus third pattern I trade around these levels. I call this the confirmation and bluff entry. It's a combination of both of the patterns above. You wait for confirmation but on any pull back you call the bluff on the market and enter on key test. Trade management here is critical. In addition to the pattern you trade you should have a series of failure patterns that tell you to get out of the trade, I use 2 primary failure patterns.
I trade all markets, same system, same rules, so I'll show a few examples.
Usually I start with Bitcoin but let's start with equities:
BA - Boeing - 8 Trades
Here we see weekly low patterns, previous week low test, vwAP hold patterns, day magnets and day holding. Then 2 week failures and a double hold pattern.
These are all straightforward trades to execute following really simple patterns.

We see here on the circle areas both daily open and previous day vWAP zone tests. Within this chart are all 3 highly effective patterns I trade.
SPY - 7 High Probability Trades
Here we see a pDay vWAP mixed with a daily failure. Next a daily retest, then a pDay vWAP failure, then a vWAP capture and test. Then a double weekly failure test (great trade there) and finally a daily test.

Its usefulness also emerges from the unique configurations embedded in the indicator's settings, which are different from those of the original scripts.

VWAP From Multiple Sources With Cloud & Percentage GapVWAP CLOUD FROM CLOSE, OPEN, HIGH & LOW SOURCES WITH CLOUD & PERCENTAGE GAP
VWAP stands for volume weighted average price and shows the average price of buys/sells based on volume traded across the current session. This VWAP is based off of the Daily session.
***HOW TO USE***
Use the purple cloud between the VWAPs as your entry points as price will typically bounce from that cloud area.
The Yellow Line is the VWAP using the close price as a source.
The Green Line is the VWAP using the open price as a source.
The Blue Line is the VWAP using the high price as a source.
The Purple Line is the VWAP using the low price as a source.
When price is above the VWAP cloud, the background will paint green because the trend is bullish.
When price is below the VWAP cloud, the background will paint red because the trend is bearish.
In the bottom right hand corner, three is a table that will show you the current percentage gap between current price and the VWAP using close as the source.
All sources and colors can be easily switched in the settings menu.

This indicator can be used as a signal on all markets, including stocks, crypto, futures and forex.
***TIMEFRAMES***
This vwap indicator can be used on all timeframes but is calculated using the daily session.

Multi Day vWAP (Customizable) with AverageIntroducing the Multi-Day vWAP indicator that is fully customizable with average indicator option.
High level overview (default settings):
Default is 10 plots with each setting 1 day apart (1-10 day look back)
Labels for each plot are turned on by default (labels will default to your value, more below)
Use Style tab in options to change colors, plot style, and turn on/off individual plots
Average is turned off by default (style panel will show it's on-- go to Inputs panel and select "Show vWAP Average" to turn on)
Best use case is go to Visibility Panel in options and turn off for Days, Weeks, and Months
To turn off all labels at once go to Style tab and unselect "Labels" checkbox
If you want plots to be as small as possible in Inputs panel set the Plot Width to 0 (zero)
Detail Overview
This indicator will plot your custom daily vWAP values.
You can change the lookback period. If you change the lookback period the label will match your custom value.
For instance, if you change vWAP 1 value to "5", the label for this plot will be 5.
Average Notes:
The average will average all the vWAP values by the divisor. The default is to average all values by 10.
The average will always start to plot from the shortest lookback period. It is not possible to have the average plot before that point.
Trading Tips (default settings)
The simple way to use the vWAP is to treat them as magnets.
For intance,
Generally if price is trading below all the vWAP plots the chart is in a momentum short enviroment. All vWAP areas can be used for upside resistance/reaction areas.
If price is trading above the chart is in a momentum long enviroment and pullbacks can to vWAP levels can be looked as areas of support/reaction.
For instance:
Price is above the current day vWAP and looking to test the previous day vWAP value.
As it approaches the 2 value you are expecting this area to be a reaction area (good trade entry area) for a continuation short trade. Possibly to check back into the current day vWAP value.
I should share that this is a simple way to trade with the vWAP (true success with vWAP is understanding that price trades in vWAP channels).
Stacking and Strong Momentum
The other pattern you should look for is stacking.
For instance on this CL chart:
This chart is strong momentum long.
All 10 day vWAP plots are stacked on top of each other.
Previous action tested below all vWAPs. Price traded thru and came back and retested. Finally closing above all and above the vWAP avearge (red).
When the day vWAP was broke the next target you look for is the 2 vWAP. This reaction area held up and momentum long continued and continuing to trade above current day vWAP.
7 Day Rolling Example (Larger Timeframe)
Another great way to use this indicator is to customize the values for rolling 7 days (5 days for cash markets).
To do this set values to: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70
For instance, this BTC chart:
This chart provides a good example of what you'll find when a chart is at a pivot point.
Price is checking in at the average to remain momentum long.
Upside longer term vWAP plots have been tested and had expected reaction.
Price is trading above the shorter term values.
Simple TA here will note if chart continues to trade above and takes out upper vWAPs long momentum is gaining ground.
On the downside if price trades thru the lower vWAP plots you would expect further downside. In this scenario you would be mindful to expect upside tests before (which could be good entry/reaction areas).
NQ example with 7 day values:
Overall chart is momentum short.
7 is above 14, 21
Maybe early sign of bottom.
If price takes out these values and holds above the buyers have quite a few challenges above.
NEXT Regressive VWAPOverview:
This version of the Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP) indicator features an extended algorithm, which, in addition to volume and price, also incorporates regression analysis. The result is a more responsive, often leading VWAP slope with a degree of statistical predictability built in. Just like with the original VWAP, NEXT Regressive VWAP offers two optional Standard Deviation bands that parallel it. These can be set to any deviation level, with the default being 1 and -1, indicating one standard deviation above and one below Regressive VWAP, respectively.
Below is a screenshot comparing NEXT Regressive VWAP (green) to the original VWAP (blue) on CME_MINI:ES1! M3 chart.
Application and Strategy Ideas:
Price above NEXT Regressive VWAP is interpreted to have a bullish bias, and below, bearish. You can use TradingView's native Set Alert functionality to be notified, in real-time, when price crosses Regressive VWAP, and/or any of its standard deviation bands. Another popular "probability play" strategy is to scalp price when it crosses under the upper band (short) and crosses over the lower band (long). The screenshot below visualizes such a strategy on NASDAQ:QQQ M1 chart:
Input Parameters:
There are 3 groups of input.
Regression Settings
Length - controls the length of time (in bars) for regression analysis with higher values yielding smoother, more responsive values.
Regression Weighting - controls the degree of regression analysis incorporated into VWAP, with 5 being average, 0-4 less, 6-10 more. The higher the value, the more responsive the Regressive VWAP curve.
VWAP Settings
Anchor Period - controls the origin of VWAP calculations, start of session being the default.
Source - data used for calculating the VWAP, typically HLC/3, but can be used with other price formats and data sources as well.
Offset - shifting of the VWAP line forward (+) or backward (-).
Standard Deviation Bands Settings
Calculate Bands - checking this will add 2 bands, each equidistant (by the amount of Multiplier) from the NEXT Regressive VWAP line.
Bands Multiplier - standard deviation multiplier, with 1 being the default
Signals and Alerts:
Here is how to set price (close) crossing NEXT Regressive VWAP alerts: open a chart, attach NEXT Regressive VWAP, and right-click on chart -> Add Alert. Condition: Symbol e.g. ES (close) >> Crossing >> Regressive VWAP >> VWAP >> Once Per Bar Close.
Multi Range VWAP PivotsMulti Range VWAP Pivots turned out to be one of my most accurate pivot indicators to date!
Multi Range VWAP Pivots works by recognizing the high and low of the timeframe selected (D, W, M, 6M, and 12M) and plotting range high to VWAP averages and range low to VWAP averages.
After further examination of each completed range, I came to the conclusion that due to the nature of averages, high and low respectively would need to be completed within the current range, for the averages to actually display pivots correctly. This means that if all averages appear to be "pivoting" correctly after or during a break lower of higher, then we can only assume the most recent break higher or lower could be exhaustion and price will be reverted to the mean (VWAP). OR, this could be the most accurate hindsight indicator on the planet.

Why such indicator should be helpful? How can I use it to do profit?
In multiple ways:
when a lower timeframe crosses an higher timeframe progressive vwap, you know sentiment is getting bullish and viceversa if the cross is downwards
price tends to bounce on such progressive vwaps: the higher the timeframe, the more probably the bounce is as well as the magnitude of the breakout of the level
This indicator works on every timeframe, market and pair.
As I always say, all tools are great if you use them correctly: this is not the "Holy Grail", so always use proper money and risk management strategies.

A Multi Timeframe - Daily, Weekly, Monthly VWAP. Also added a feature for previous day, Daily, Weekly, Monthly VWAP .
The main strategy to this indicator is the previous day vwaps. So we put in additional logic that allows us to visually see previous day, previous week and previous monthly vwap. This helps us get a gage of bullish vs bearish trends. For instance, if price is trading above both daily and previous daily vwaps, that signifies micro trend is bullish. If price is above daily vwap but below previous daily vwap, you can use the previous day vwap as a target for you long.

Dynamic VWAP WebNote : The large purple ellipses and shaded boxes are not part of the indicator and have been manually drawn to show how the indicator provides important pattern signals you can recognize. The small red and green dots are however bulit_in and show highs and lows that break key averages to further add to pattern data.
This indicator is built from my Bonfire system and includes VWAP , linear regression , and moving averages combined with dynamic lengths to show key trends, a moving profile, fractal patterns, and data visuals. The VWAP portion of the script is weighed a bit more and automated recognitions provide tons of pattern data and a moving profile that sharply interacts with the price on all levels. *dynamic lengths = lengths change when specific criteria has been met. This is opposed to the default, static or constant length inputs that stay the same unless changed manually.
Things to look for and questions to ask yourself:
a: How is the structure of the indicators flowing? Are the indicators collecting, pinching together, and smoothing out to provide a unanimous direction? How is the price reacting to the indicators? Is the price above, below all, most, or some of the indicators? (MARKED WITH LARGE DRAWN ELLIPSES)
b: What is your interpretation of the deviation between the indicators and the price? Is there a big spread? Is the price seemingly spiking or dropping to touch or grab certain indicator levels briefly while there is still a big spread between unorganized indicators? This can lead to a temporary pivot that does not sustain a long term bear or bull trend.
c: Is the price just above or below the indicators? Does the current trajectory and volume project a break upward, pushing the price through and over the indicators. Is the price bouncing off the lines as live resistance or support? Time is the most powerful force to recon with. The trajectory of the price towards the indicators vs the candle countdown can assist you in predicting if the price will be forced to cross above or below the profile indicators. When price crosses above a collected group of indicators , it's to be considered a bullish move. Likewise, when the price breaks downward on levels it would be considered a time to limit exposure.
d: Notice the difference in the thicker gradient lines above or below the price and more importantly, the absence of these lines compared to the current state of the other indicators. (MARKED WITH DRAWN DARK SHADED BOXES). Are the thick profile lines darker or lighter? Are these lines making sharp moves up or down well below the current price?
e: Keep note of each detail of the signals provided. The smaller green and red dots consistently appear along the (gradient) moving profile levels during specific price interactions with VWAP linear moving profile lines. Though these dots provide minor changes, it's still worth noting for consistent pattern recognition.
f: The built-in red and green rings signal when the price highs and lows breach or interrupt the linear/MA indicator lines. Often these appear in a pattern before and after a bigger move in price. Each asset or stock will have a different pattern or story to tell at different intervals. It is critical that you take the time to look at the patterns at different cycles and learn how to read the overall health of the price compared to the data and historical patterns provided.
g: The gradients fade and darken based on strength.
This is a new way to visualize the current state of an asset. Therefore it will take some time to learn the nuances of Dynamic VWAP WEB. Devote some time to learn the patterns that align with your goals and timeframes.
