Inverse MACD + DMI Scalping with Volatility Stop (By Coinrule)This script is focused on shorting during downtrends and utilises two strength based indicators to provide confluence that the start of a short-term downtrend has occurred - catching the opportunity as soon as possible.
This script can work well on coins you are planning to hodl for long-term and works especially well whilst using an automated bot that can execute your trades for you. It allows you to hedge your investment by allocating a % of your coins to trade with, whilst not risking your entire holding. This mitigates unrealised losses from hodling as it provides additional cash from the profits made. You can then choose to hodl this cash, or use it to reinvest when the market reaches attractive buying levels.
Alternatively, you can use this when trading contracts on futures markets where there is no need to already own the underlying asset prior to shorting it.
ENTRY
The trading system uses the Momentum Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator and the Directional Movement Index (DMI) indicator to confirm when the best time is for selling. Combining these two indicators prevents trading during uptrends and reduces the likelihood of getting stuck in a market with low volatility.
The MACD is a trend following momentum indicator and provides identification of short-term trend direction. In this variation it utilises the 12-period as the fast and 26-period as the slow length EMAs, with signal smoothing set at 9.
The DMI indicates what way price is trending and compares prior lows and highs with two lines drawn between each - the positive directional movement line (+DI) and the negative directional movement line (-DI). The trend can be interpreted by comparing the two lines and what line is greater. When the negative DMI is greater than the positive DMI, there are more chances that the asset is trading in a sustained downtrend, and vice versa.
The system will enter trades when two conditions are met:
1) The MACD histogram turns bearish.
2) When the negative DMI is greater than the positive DMI.
EXIT
The strategy comes with a fixed take profit combined with a volatility stop, which acts as a trailing stop to adapt to the trend's strength. Depending on your long-term confidence in the asset, you can edit the fixed take profit to be more conservative or aggressive.
The position is closed when:
Take-Profit Exit: +8% price decrease from entry price.
OR
Stop-Loss Exit: Price crosses above the volatility stop.
In general, this approach suits medium to long term strategies. The backtesting for this strategy begins on 1 April 2022 to 18 July 2022 in order to demonstrate its results in a bear market. Back testing it further from the beginning of 2022 onwards further also produces good returns.
Pairs that produce very strong results include SOLUSDT on the 45m timeframe, MATICUSDT on the 2h timeframe, and AVAUSDT on the 1h timeframe. Generally, the back testing suggests that it works best on the 45m/1h timeframe across most pairs.
A trading fee of 0.1% is also taken into account and is aligned to the base fee applied on Binance.

Sherry on Crypto - MACD ScalpingThis indicator is originally made by someone else, I just modified it to increase its win rate.
How to use this indicator?
Step 1: This indicator only works in 5 minutes timeframe (BTC) . Apply 5 minutes timeframe in Tradingview.
Step 2: Apply 2 EMA(s), 1st EMA length 50, 2nd EMA length 200.
Step 3: Draw support and resistance and understand price action as well.
Step 4: Use RSI along with this indicator.
Strategy: When you see a down tick on the MACD in 5 minutes timeframe,
you are allow to take a long position. When you see an up tick on the MACD in 5 minutes timeframe, you are allow to take a Short position,
but RSI should be Included (you can do your own settings of RSI).
Recommended TP 0.50 and SL 0.40.
God Number Channel V1 (GNC V1)Channel, made of 5 MAs, which a made this way: High of N-period SMA - Low of N-period SMA + X-period SMA (check the code), where N and X are defined by your input.
Main purpose: helps you understand in what range price can move.
WARNING!
HAS TO BE USED WITH OTHER INDICATORS TO HAVE MORE ACCURATE ENTRIES!!!
If the price is above or below the channel, it means that the movement is very strong and you count it as a trend, but be careful then the price returns to the channel, as correction will follow very soon. Use fib correction tool to understand the approximate depth of correction, works pretty good.
Recommendation: consider using the Vortex Indicator( len 21 and 14 are fine; for trend) and "Vumanchu Divergencies + B"(for anything, but calibrate for accuracy, otherwise there will be too much false signals). If you want to see more options where the price might go, just add new MA and add/substract to/from its value avg1*(any of fibonacci correction levels, I personally use 1.618 and 2.618 and for me it is ok): plot(show_ma1 ? ma1+( [ [ ]]]*avg1) : na, color = ma1_color, title="MA №1")
Recommendations and feedback are welcome(!)

LNL Pullback ArrowsBuying the dip has never been easier! LNL Pullback Arrows are here to pinpoint the best possible entries for the trend following setups. With the Pullback Arrows, trader can pick his own approach and risk level thanks to four different types of arrows. The goal of these arrows is to force the traders to scale in & out of trades which is in my opinion crucial when it comes to trend following strategies. These arrows were designed primarily for the daily & weekly time frame (swing trading).
Four Types of Pullback Arrows:
1. Aggro Arrows - Ideal for aggresive approach during parabolic trends. Sometimes trends are so strong that the price barely revisits the daily 8 EMA. This is where the aggro arrows can perfectly pinpoint the aggresive high risk entries. Ideal for halfsize or 1/4 size of the full position. Aiming for quick 1-2 day moves targeting the recent high/low. These arrows could be also named as scalping arrows for the swing traders. A quick In & Out.
2. HalfSize Arrows - Medium risk approach. First arrows to scale in. HalfSize arrows are the first sign that the pullback might be ending, yet there is still some space left for an even deeper pullback. That is the reason why they are called half-size. Ideally taken with half-sized position. When trading the HalfSize Arrows, It is better to have some "spare ammo in the gun" ready to use.
3. FullSize Arrows - Regular risk approach. These arrows represent a zone where the core of the posititon should be taken. The point of validity for the trend is not that far away, meaning the risk can be kept tight. Ideal for scailing the other halfs or quarters of the full position. Also great for more conservative traders or environments with higher volatility.
4. Rare Arrows - Offer the best risk to reward entries during the trend. Rare Arrows should be the "last kick" of the retracement, therefore stops can be positioned really tight. They either trigger the stop immidiately or they provide another juicy leg up or down in the direction of the trend. However, they really do appear rarely.
Simple EMA Cloud:
A simple cloud based on 21 and 55 exponential moving averages. This default length creates a pullback zone that is wide enough for the conservative traders but also give the opportunities to more aggresive traders. Alternatives such as 8 & 21, or 21 & 34 are forming the zone that is too aggresive and usually too thin. Of course, cloud can be fully adjusted or turned off completely. The only role of the cloud is to gauge the trend.
Tips & Tricks:
1.Importance of the Scailing
- As already stated, scailing is crucial to this since there is no way of knowing the exact level at which the price magically bounce every time. It is hard to tell where and which EMA will be respected. How can we know it will be 21 EMA every time? or 34 EMA or 10 EMA or 100 SMA or 50 DMA ... Single MA does not make a trend. This is the reason why scailing is so important. Scailing can make a difference.
2. Nothing is Perfect
- Same as any other study, nothing works 100% perfectly. Sometimes the setup will go right against you and sometimes the price will fade away sideways and breaks off the structure of the trend. This is not a magic certainty tool. This is just another probability tool.
3. Point of Validity & Other Studies
- Even though the pullback arrows can be a stand-alone strategy. It is important to use other indicators that visualize the actual trend. Whether its EMA Cloud or EMAs or DMI Bars or Keltner Channels, there should be something that validates the trend, something that tells the trend is over. (Pullback Arrows are not showing the actual stops!).
Hope it helps.
CHN BUY SELLCHN BUY SELL is formed from two RSI indicators, those are RSI 14 and RSI 7 . I use RSI 14 to determine the trend and RSI 7 to find entry points.
+ Long (BUY) Signal:
- RSI 14 will give a "BUY" signal, then RSI 7 will give entry point to LONG when the candle turns yellow.
+ Short (SELL) Signal:
- RSI 14 will give a "EXIT" signal, then RSI 7 will give entry point to SHORT when the candle turns purple.
+ About Take Profit and Stop Loss:
- With Gold, I usually set Stop Loss and Take Profit at 50 pips
- With currency pairs, I usually keep my Stop Loss and Take Profit at 30 pips
- With crypto, I usually keep Stop Loss and Take Profit at 1.5%
Recommended to use in time frame M15 and above .
This method can be used to trade Forex, Gold and Crypto.
My idea is formed on the view that when the price is moving strongly, the RSI 14 will tell us what the current trend is through a "BUY" or "EXIT" signal. When RSI 14 reaches the oversold area it will form a "BUY" signal and when it reaches the overbought area it will give an "EXIT" signal. I believe that when the price reaches the oversold or overbought area, the price momentum has also decreased and is about to reverse.
After receiving a signal from RSI 14, my job is to wait for an Entry signal from RSI 7. When RSI 7 reaches the overbought area, a yellow candle will appear and that's when we enter a LONG order. When the RSI 7 reaches the oversold area, a purple candle will appear and that's when we enter a SHORT order.
[Pt] Premarket Breakout StrategyThis is a 1 trade per day strategy for trading SPY or QQQ index. By default, this is designed for 1 min time frame. This was an experimental script that seems to be profitable at the time of publication.
How it works:
Pre-market high and low is defined per trading day between 9:00 to 9:30 EST.
Then we looking for the first breakout on either PM high or PM low.
- Breakout high = long trade
- Breakout low = short trade
If long trade, we wait until Stochastic RSI D signal line to hit a lower threshold (18 by default). Then we enter long when K crosses above D line.
If short trade, we wait until Stochastic RSI D signal line to hit an upper threshold (82 by default). Then we enter short when K crosses below D line.
Stop loss for long
- set to PM low if entry is above PM high + %ATR buffer
- or set to PM range + %ATR buffer
Stop loss for short
- set to PM high if entry is below PM low + %ATR buffer
- or set to PM range + %ATR buffer
Profit target is set to 2x the risk by default.
*Note: Different Stochastic RSI lengths should be used if trading 5 min time frame. See tooltip.
Happy trading~~!
PSS Divergence RSIThe objective of the script is to identify the divergences (positive / negative) and visualize them as an indicator to easily spot the possible trend change.
Ingredients -
a. 34 period RSI at current candle
b. 34 period RSI at 21 candles back
c. 5 EMA of a
d. 5 EMA of b
e. 5 EMA of current candle
f. 5 EMA of 21 candles back
Description -
The indicator is designed for scalping and to smooth-out the noise in shorter timeframe (1 min), bigger period (34) is used for RSI calculation.
The core idea of divergence is to look at RSI movement in relation to price movement, hence a ratios are created for RSI value relative to it's price.
R1 = rsiMA1*100/priceMA1
R2 = rsiMA2*100/priceMA2
Some mathematics is applied over the calculated ratios to determine if there is bullish or bearish divergence -
Div = (R1-R2)*100/(R1+R2)
The reasoning to apply 5 EMA to price as well as RSI is to compare areas (5 candles) instead of single point comparison for better insights.
The value above zero line is considered positive divergence and below zero line is negative divergence.
Recommended to combine with Pivot Points, Fibonacci or Gann levels as confirmation to enter the trade.
Reviews / feedbacks are most welcome !

Wolf EMA & OHL & SIGNALSWolf EMA & OHL & SIGNALS
this indicator is mainly used for fast trading techniques (scalping). provides various tools for comprehensive trend analysis.
5 EMAs are used to have possible market entry or exit signals.
EMA
Thanks to the combination of the EMAs of different timeframes,
you can immediately get an idea of the resistances or supports
of the higher timeframes.
HOL
Lines are drawn on the right side indicating the maximum, minimum and opening
of the day, past day, week and past week respectively.
These levels are excellent as price acceleration points.
SIGNALS
There are three types of signals that are monitored by this indicator:
- Shimano
This signal is generated if the price remains compressed between two EMAs, more precisely between the third and the fifth, at the point where the price breaks one of these EMAs there can be a strong price movement.
- Viagra
This signal is generated if the price remains below the second EMA for a long time without ever closing above / below, at the point where it closes by climbing over the EMA there may be a change in trend.
-Bud
This signal is generated if a positive candle is formed and subsequently at least two that close within the high and low of the positive candle. Where the price breaks through the high of the positive candle is a great entry point.
Intra-variety Timeframe Floating Fibonacci Levels [Loxx]Intra-variety Timeframe Floating Fibonacci Levels is an intraday, intraweek, and intramonth indicator to be used for scalping on lower timeframes. The indicator paints the developing fibonacci retracement levels as they change overtime over the selected intra-variety timeframe chosen. This indicator acts as another way to gauge support and resistance levels.
What Are Fibonacci Retracement Levels?
Fibonacci retracement levels—stemming from the Fibonacci sequence—are horizontal lines that indicate where support and resistance are likely to occur.
Each level is associated with a percentage. The percentage is how much of a prior move the price has retraced. The Fibonacci retracement levels are 23.6%, 38.2%, 61.8%, and 78.6%. While not officially a Fibonacci ratio, 50% is also used.
The indicator is useful because it can be drawn between any two significant price points, such as a high and a low. The indicator will then create the levels between those two points.
Suppose the price of a stock rises $10 and then drops $2.36. In that case, it has retraced 23.6%, which is a Fibonacci number. Fibonacci numbers are found throughout nature. Therefore, many traders believe that these numbers also have relevance in financial markets.
Fibonacci retracement levels were named after Italian mathemetician Leonardo Pisano Bigollo, who was famously known as Leonardo Fibonacci. However, Fibonacci did not create the Fibonacci sequence. Fibonacci, instead, introduced these numbers to western Europe after learning about them from Indian merchants. Fibonacci retracement levels were formulated in Ancient India between 450 and 200 BCE.

Waddah Attar RSI Levels [Loxx]Waddah Attar RSI levels is an indicator created Ahmad Waddah Attar that draws a daily RSI over onto the current lower timeframe chart.
Wilders' RSI:
The Relative Strength Index ( RSI ) is a well versed momentum based oscillator which is used to measure the speed (velocity) as well as the change (magnitude) of directional price movements. Essentially RSI , when graphed, provides a visual mean to monitor both the current, as well as historical, strength and weakness of a particular market. The strength or weakness is based on closing prices over the duration of a specified trading period creating a reliable metric of price and momentum changes. Given the popularity of cash settled instruments (stock indexes) and leveraged financial products (the entire field of derivatives); RSI has proven to be a viable indicator of price movements.
Rapid RSI:
Rapid RSI Indicator, from Ian Copsey's article in the October 2006 issue of Stocks & Commodities magazine. RapidRSI resembles Wilder's RSI , but uses a SMA instead of a WilderMA for internal smoothing of price change accumulators.

Profitable Contrarian scalpingUses the 5 period and 10 period VMWAs that have been smoothed with a 5 period SMA of the close price. Normally, a short crossover long formation signals a buy signal, but as scalpers know, the 1 minute chart moves so fast and with so much volatility that lagging indicators get wrecked by the market. According, this strategy operates under the assumption that by the time this lagging indicator makes a signal, the price is ready to reverse. Losses are taken swiftly in the case of a continuation pattern. This indicator averages a 55-65% profitable rate and is almost always a positive P/L on the 1 minute chart of the most commonly traded assets.
Of course, there may be validity for this indicator outside the 1 minute chart, but I have found such success to be very limited. Accordingly, use this indicator on SPY, TQQQ, TSLA, AMZN, and major cryptos on the 1 min chart.

FaustFaust is a composite indicator that combines 3 volume indicators: TSV, OBV, and PVT.
TSV moving average is plotted as an oscillator. OBV and PVT are calculated internally.
Four divergences are calculated for each indicator (regular bearish, regular bullish, hidden bearish, and hidden bullish) with three look-back periods (high, mid, and small).
For TSV, the fattest plotted line is the divergence with the highest look-back period, and the thinnest line is the divergence with the shortest look-back period.
For PVT, the larger the circle, the higher the divergence look-back period.
For OBV, the larger the triangle, the higher the divergence look-back period.
MA ClustersBackground :
This study allows to define ranges for contraction and expansion of a defined set of MA to analyse the the momentum at those specific situations.
In general all functions used are very basic but allows the user to set alerts when a cluster of MA enters a defined range within or outside the MAX and MIN of a selected MA cluster. The predefined length of the EMAs were put together by HurstHorns within a trading learning discord group and are designed for 1M timeframe to read the momentum for scalping entries - Thanks again for sharing.
Functions :
currently the following MA are available:
- ema
- sma
- smma
- wma
- vwma
- vma
the variable moving average is based on the calculation from lazybear.
- RSI Stoch Filter
- Wavetrend OB/OS filter
Currently only alerts for contraction are enabled to not overload the study but in case expansion would be from interest this can be added quickly.
Outlook:
Additional filters were added to see if they can add value in. the decision making or by simply filtering out noise. This is still quite experimental. Please share any useful observation I should add as additional filter option to find good setups. in relation to contractions or expansions.
Next version will get Bollinger bands for 1 selectable MA from the list for additional study options.
In case you are interested in more options such as more MA types or vwap.. just let me know. for VMA I need to do more research to add useful function for laddering or things like that.
In general The script itself can be easily extended by additional functions. As this is one of my first scripts the code itself might not be optimal or there are more elegant ways to come to the same goal. However please use for study purposes only and report bugs or enhancement requests.
good luck and happy trading!
