YinYang RSI Volume Trend StrategyThere are many strategies that use RSI or Volume but very few that take advantage of how useful and important the two of them combined are. This strategy uses the Highs and Lows with Volume and RSI weighted calculations on top of them. You may be wondering how much of an impact Volume and RSI can have on the prices; the answer is a lot and we will discuss those with plenty of examples below, but first…
How does this strategy work?
It’s simple really, when the purchase source crosses above the inner low band (red) it creates a Buy or Long. This long has a Trailing Stop Loss band (the outer low band that's also red) that can be adjusted in the Settings. The Stop Loss is based on a % of the inner low band’s price and by default it is 0.1% lower than the inner band’s price. This Stop Loss is not only a stop loss but it can also act as a Purchase Available location.
  
You can get back into a trade after a stop loss / take profit has been hit when your Reset Purchase Availability After condition has been met. This can either be at Stop Loss, Entry or None. 
  
It is advised to allow it to reset in case the stop loss was a fake out but the call was right. Sometimes it may trigger stop loss multiple times in a row, but you don’t lose much on stop loss and you gain lots when the call is right.
  
The Take Profit location is the basis line (white). Take Profit occurs when the Exit Source (close, open, high, low or other) crosses the basis line and then on a different bar the Exit Source crosses back over the basis line. For example, if it was a Long and the bar’s Exit Source closed above the basis line, and then 2 bars later its Exit Source closed below the basis line, Take Profit would occur. You can disable Take Profit in Settings, but it is very useful as many times the price will cross the Basis and then correct back rather than making it all the way to the opposing zone.
   
Longs:
If for instance your Long doesn’t need to Take Profit and instead reaches the top zone, it will close the position when it crosses above the inner top line (green). 
Please note you can change the Exit Source too which is what source (close, open, high, low) it uses to end the trades.
  
The Shorts work the same way as the Long but just opposite, they start when the purchase source crosses under the inner upper band (green).
  
Shorts:
Shorts take profit when it crosses under the basis line and then crosses back.
  
Shorts will Stop loss when their outer upper band (green) is crossed with the Exit Source.
  
Short trades are completed and closed when its Exit Source crosses under the inner low red band.
  
So, now that you understand how the strategy works, let’s discuss why this strategy works and how it is profitable.
First we will discuss Volume as we deem it plays a much bigger role overall and in our strategy:
As I’m sure many of you know, Volume plays a huge factor in how much something moves, but it also plays a role in the strength of the movement. For instance, let’s look at two scenarios: 
 
 Bitcoin’s price goes up $1000 in 1 Day but the Volume was only 10 million
 Bitcoin’s price goes up $200 in 1 Day but the Volume was 40 million
 
If you were to only look at the price, you’d say #1 was more important because the price moved x5 the amount as #2, but once you factor in the volume, you know this is not true. The reason why Volume plays such a huge role in Price movement is because it shows there is a large Limit Order battle going on. It means that both Bears and Bulls believe that price is a good time to Buy and Sell. This creates a strong Support and Resistance price point in this location. If we look at scenario #2, when there is high volume, especially if it is drastically larger than the average volume Bitcoin was displaying recently, what can we decipher from this? Well, the biggest take away is that the Bull’s won the battle, and that likely when that happens we will see bullish movement continuing to happen as most of the Bears Limit Orders have been fulfilled. Whereas with #2, when large price movement happens and Bitcoin goes up $1000 with low volume what can we deduce? The main takeaway is that Bull’s pressured the price up with Market Orders where they purchased the best available price, also what this means is there were very few people who were wanting to sell. This generally dictates that Whale Limit orders for Sells/Shorts are much higher up and theres room for movement, but it also means there is likely a whale that is ready to dump and crash it back down.
You may be wondering, what did this example have to do with YinYang RSI Volume Trend Strategy? Well the reason we’ve discussed this is because we use Volume multiple times to apply multiplications in our calculations to add large weight to the price when there is lots of volume (this is applied both positively and negatively). For instance, if the price drops a little and there is high volume, our strategy will move its bounds MUCH lower than the price actually dropped, and if there was low volume but the price dropped A LOT, our strategy will only move its bounds a little. We believe this reflects higher levels of price accuracy than just price alone based on the examples described above.

As you can see, we wen’t from $-2800 profit with volume not factored to $553,000 with volume factored. That's quite a big difference! (Please note previous success does not predict future success we are simply displaying the $ amounts as example).
Now how about RSI and why does it matter in this strategy?
As I’m sure most of you are aware, RSI is one of the leading indicators used in trading. For this reason we figured it would only make sense to incorporate it into our calculations. We fiddled with RSI for quite awhile and sometimes what logically seems to be the right way to use it isn’t. Now, because of this, our RSI calculation is a little odd, but basically what we’re doing is we calculate the RSI, then turn it into a percentage (between 0-1)  that can easily be multiplied to the price point we need. The price point we use is the difference between our high purchase zone and our low purchase zone. This allows us to see how much price movement there is between zones. We multiply our zone size with our RSI multiplication and we get the amount we will add +/- to our basis line (white line). This officially creates the NEW high and low purchase zones that we are actually using and displaying in our trades.

As you can see, the RSI makes not only the purchase zones more accurate, but it also greatly increases the profit the strategy is able to make. It also helps ensure an relatively linear profit slope so you know it is reliable with its trades.
This strategy can work on pretty much anything, but you should tweak the values a bit for each pair you are trading it with for best results.

The script defines a specific trading session based on user inputs. This session is specified by a time range (e.g., "1000-1510") and selected days of the week (e.g., Monday to Friday). This session definition is crucial for trading only during specific times.
 Lookback and Breakout Conditions: 
The script uses a  lookback period  and  the highest high and lowest low values  to determine potential breakout points. The lookback period is user-defined (default is 10 periods).
The script also uses  Bollinger Bands (BB)  to identify potential breakout conditions. Users can enable or disable BB crossover conditions. BB consists of an upper and lower band, with the basis.
Additionally, the script uses  Dema (Double Exponential Moving Average) and VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price) . Users can enable or disable this condition.
 Buy and Sell Conditions: 
 Buy conditions  are met when the close price exceeds the highest high within the specified lookback period, Bollinger Bands conditions are satisfied, Dema-VWAP conditions are met, and the script is within the defined trading session.
 Sell conditions  are met when the close price falls below the lowest low within the lookback period, Bollinger Bands conditions are satisfied, Dema-VWAP conditions are met, and the script is within the defined trading session.
When either condition is met, it triggers a "long" or "short" position entry.
 Trailing Stop Loss (TSL): 
Users can choose between fixed points ( SL by points ) or  trailing stop  (Profit Trail).
For fixed points, users specify the number of points for the stop loss. A fixed stop loss is set at a certain distance from the entry price if a position is opened.
For Profit Trail, users can enable or disable this feature. If enabled, the script uses a "trail factor" (lookback period) to determine when to adjust the stop loss.
If the price moves in the direction of the trade and reaches a certain level (determined by the trail factor), the stop loss is adjusted, trailing behind the price to lock in profits.
If the close price falls below a certain level (lowest low within the trail factor(lookback)), and a position is open, the "long" position is closed (strategy.close("long")).
If the close price exceeds a certain level (highest high within the specified trail factor(lookback)), and a position is open, the "short" position is closed (strategy.close("short")).
Positions are also closed if they are open outside of the defined trading session.
 Background Color: 
The script changes the background color of the chart to indicate  buy (green)  and  sell (red)  signals, making it visually clear when the strategy conditions are met.

Bollinger Bands Modified (Stormer)This strategy is based and shown by trader and investor Alexandre Wolwacz "Stormer".
 Overview 
The strategy uses two indicators  Bollinger Bands  and  EMA  (optional for EMA).
Calculates Bollinger Bands, EMA, highest high, and lowest low values based on the input parameters, evaluating the conditions to determine potential long and short entry signals.
The conditions include checks for crossovers and crossunders of the price with the upper and lower Bollinger Bands, as well as the position of the price relative to the EMA.
The script also incorporates the option to add an inside bar pattern check for additional information.
 Entry Position 
Long Position:
 
 Price cross over the superior band of bollinger bands.
 The EMA is used to add support for trend analysis, it is an optional input, when used, it checks if price is above EMA.
 
Short Position:
 
 Price cross under the inferior band of bollinger bands.
 The EMA is used to add support for trend analysis, it is an optional input, when used, it checks if price is under EMA.
 
 Risk Management 
Stop Loss:
 
 The stop loss is calculated based on the input highest high (for short position) and lowest low (for long position).
 It gets the length based on the input from the last candles to set which is the highest high and which is the lowest low.
 
Take Profit:
 
 According to the author, the profit target should be at least 1:1.6 the risk, so to have the strategy mathematically positive.
 The profit target is configured input, can be increased or decreased.
 It calculates the take profit based on the price of the stop loss with the profit target input.
 
Powertrend - Volume Range Filter Strategy [wbburgin]The Powertrend is a range filter that is based off of volume, instead of price. This helps the range filter capture trends more accurately than a price-based range filter, because the range filter will update itself from changes in volume instead of changes in price. In certain scenarios this means that the Powertrend will be more profitable than a normal range filter.
 Essentials of the Strategy 
This is a breakout strategy which works best on trending assets with high volume and liquidity. It should be used on middle to higher timeframes and can be used on all assets that have volume provided by the data source (stocks, crypto, forex). It is long-only as of now. It can work on lower timeframes if you optimize the strategy filters to make less trades or if your exchange/broker is low/no fees, provided that your exchange/broker has high liquidity and volume.
The strategy enters a long position if the range filter is trending upwards and the price crosses over the upper range band, which signifies a price-volume breakout. The strategy closes the long position if the range filter is trending downwards and the price crosses under the lower range band, which signifies a breakdown. Both these conditions can be altered by the three filter options in the settings. The default trend filter is not alterable because it helps prevent false entries and exits that are against the trend.
 Settings 
The Length setting is the lookback period for the range smoothing.
The ADX Filter setting enables you to turn on an ADX filter, which will halt entries and exits unless the ADX of your customizable length is above a ADX VWMA of that length.
The Range Supertrend setting creates a supertrend from the top and bottom ranges, which can be used to filter entries and exits. The length is customizable. The filter can show you whether the range is making higher highs and lower lows. Below is an example of the Range Supertrend being used as a filter and plotted on-chart:
  
The VWMA setting halts entries if they are below a customizable length VWMA.
Both the Range Supertrend and the VWMA can also be plotted separately without actually filtering the strategy, so that you can use them independently if you wish. You can turn off the bar color, the highlighting, and the labels if you wish in the settings. A note about the bar color: if the color changes but the strategy does not signal an exit or entry this means that the crossover was against the trend. In these circumstances it may be indicative of a pullback to enter or exit or to add onto your position.
 About the Strategy Results Below 
A range filter is normally composed of two components - the range filter itself and a smoothing function. In the development of this script I tested both normal and volume-based varieties of the range filter and the smoothing function:

The highest-performing was a volume-based range filter and a normal EMA-based smoothing function, but that does not mean that this strategy will be profitable - exits are based off of signal reversion so I strongly encourage you to develop your own take profits/stop losses for the strategy if you think it may be a good fit for you. The results below are with a commission value of 0.05% (because I built the strategy first for equities), slippage of 3, so if your exchange/broker has a higher fee schedule, I recommend adding filters and/or moving to higher timeframes for the strategy. Additionally, I used 10% of equity in each trade, while using the Range Supertrend filter (the previous upload was unrealistic because it used 100% of equity - missed a 0, apologies, and added in slippage).
METRIC-TREND-TRADERThis script is a Fully Automated trading script meant to be used with "Oanda" broker and the plug-ins for algorithmic trading automation.( FOREX ONLY)
This script is meant to capture "TREND FOLLOWING " for intraday charts (1hour) preferably and will hold for days / weeks .trading on forex markets.
(The combination of indicators includes a short high and low price channel and a longer term high and low price channel)
This script is original in description as  being automated to try and capture dynamic trending markets with both long and short fractal price channels. although trend trading is not an original concept. trend trading with this dynamic indicator allows the user visualize both short term and longer term price action at the same time, helping to make better trading decisions. the channels are designed to buy breakouts in the direction of the longer term trend while trailing stop a built-in stop loss that allows normal market movement while attempting to lock in flexible profits.
The concept of this indicator is be able to quickly visualize trends by high lighting the large green areas beneath price "when trending long" which is the difference between the (user defined) short term lows  and the (user defined) Long period price lows.  
For "down trending" markets a large red area above price will be displayed and this is the difference between the (user defined) short term highs and the (user defined) long term highs.  
This strategy uses a lower than reward profile to jump in direction of market moves for continuation, 
(1 risk to 4 reward)
in the likelihood the instrument will continue (example) 200 pips before it reverts 50 pips in the counter direction.
This strategy should only be used in markets that you believe are "TRENDING" at the time of trading otherwise you risk trend trading a range market.
This script uses a (user defined period) of short term high and low price ( green/red color) and (user defined period) Long Term high and low price (green/red) chosen in the indicator settings menu.
The default parameters are 10 with a (minimum of 1 and maximum of 10000) for the short term channel and 50 with a (minimum of 1 and maximum of 10000) for the long term price channel , the default parameters = roughly 2 days "long term" and 10 hours "short term" of price action on the (1 hour) chart.
Strategy entries and exits , for Long trades the trade will be entered if the short term high crosses above the Long Term high and the Short term low is not equal to the Long term low . the trade will exit if profit or stop loss are hit or if the Short term low crosses under the long term low.
For Short trades the trade will enter short if , the short term low crosses under the long term low and the short term high is not equal to the long term high. the trade will exit if profit or stop loss are hit or the short term high crosses over the long term high

There are two very important inputs to be selected at the user setting menu "Long Only " and "Short Only" if you are looking to place long trades only select "Long Only" or for short trades select " Short Only" it is not recommended to keep both selected as it will trade both sides!
When the trade is entered a red , a blue and green horizontal dotted line will appear on the chart.
the blue line is the strategy entry price , the red line is the stop loss price , and the green line is the take profit price . the colors will invert if the trade is long or short.
(Setting alerts should be done in the indicator settings menu, and the parameters you chose will determine the stop loss/target and the amount of "units = (position size)" you wish to trade for the (forex only) markets. using "alert() function calls only" is the only alert that should be used with this strategy.
(note : when "alert() function calls only" is set two messages will be sent, one closing any open position in the opposite direction and one placing the new order regardless if you are currently in a trade or not)
Trade targets , stoploss and trade position size are a user defined variables entered in the indicator settings menu. (target pips minimum 0 and a maximum of 1000)(stop pips minimum of 0 and maximum of 1000)
Back test date range is included in the script for back testing different data periods.
the back ground will be colored a transparent navy blue if the period you are looking trading is with in the date range( note: to place live trades the end date will need to be in the future)

The avoid spread filter is a user defined time in which the spread is typically higher than average, applying this filter avoids trades in the specified time. When this filter is applied there will be a transparent red back ground color in the specified time.
Back test default setting are equivocal to  OANDA:USDJPY  
at the time of this publication placing trades with the "Oanda" broker are as follows , USD units = 2000 equal 2000 USD position size . "Oanda" current leverage is 20 to 1 for this particular pair and commission is paid in spread (1.4) pips = 0.19 USD per trade , Margin required for the trade is 100.0 USD , Position sizing = 10% of a 1000 USD account.

D-Bot Alpha RSI Breakout StrategyHello dear Traders,
Here is a simple yet effective strategy to use, for best profit higher time frame, such as daily.
  
 Structure of the code 
The code defines inputs for SMA (simple moving average) length, RSI (relative strength index) length, RSI entry level, RSI stop loss level, and RSI take profit level. The default values of these variables can be customized as per the user's preferences.
The script calculates SMA and RSI based on the input parameters and the closing price of the asset.
 Trading logic 
This strategy allows the placement of a long position when:
The RSI crosses above the RSI entry level and
The close price is above the SMA value.
After entering a long position, it applies a trailing stop mechanism. The stop price is updated to the close price if the close price is lower than the last close price.
The script closes the long position when:
RSI falls below the stop loss level.
RSI reaches or exceeds the take profit level.
If the trailing stop is activated (once RSI reaches or exceeds the take profit level), the closing price falls below the trailing stop level.
 Strengths 
The strategy includes mechanisms for entering a position, taking profit, and stopping losses, which are fundamental aspects of a trading strategy.
It applies a trailing stop mechanism that allows to capture further gains if the price keeps increasing while protecting from losses if the price starts to decrease.
 Weaknesses 
This strategy only contemplates long positions. Depending on the market situation, the strategy may miss opportunities for short selling when the market is on a downward trend.
The choice of the fixed RSI entry, stop loss, and take profit levels may not be ideal for all market conditions or assets. It might benefit from a more adaptive mechanism that adjusts these levels according to market volatility or trend.
The strategy doesn't factor in trading costs (such as spread or commission), which could have a significant impact on the net profit, especially if the user is trading with a high frequency or in a low liquidity market.
How to trade with this strategy
Given these parameters and the strategy outlined by the code, the trader would enter a long position when the RSI crosses above the RSI entry level (default 34) and the closing price is above the SMA value (SMA calculated with default period of 200). The trader would exit the position when either the RSI falls below the RSI stop loss level (default 30), or RSI rises above the RSI take profit level (default 50), or when the trailing stop is hit.

Mechanical Trading StrategyThe "Mechanical Trading Strategy" is a simple and systematic approach to trading that aims to capture short-term price movements in the financial markets. This strategy focuses on executing trades based on specific conditions and predetermined profit targets and stop loss levels.

Profit Target: The strategy allows you to set a profit target as a percentage of the entry price. This target represents the desired level of profit for each trade.
Stop Loss: The strategy incorporates a stop loss level as a percentage of the entry price. This level represents the maximum acceptable loss for each trade, helping to manage risk.
Entry Condition: The strategy triggers trades at a specific time. In this case, the condition for entering a trade is based on the hour of the candle being 16 (4:00 PM). This time-based entry condition provides a systematic approach to executing trades.
Position Sizing: The strategy determines the position size based on a fixed percentage of the available equity. This approach ensures consistent risk management and allows for potential portfolio diversification.
Execution:
When the entry condition is met, signified by the hour being 16, the strategy initiates a long position using the strategy.entry function. It sets the exit conditions using the strategy.exit function, with a limit order for the take profit level and a stop order for the stop loss level.
Take Profit and Stop Loss:
The take profit level is calculated by adding a percentage of the entry price to the entry price itself. This represents the profit target for the trade. Conversely, the stop loss level is calculated by subtracting a percentage of the entry price from the entry price. This level represents the maximum acceptable loss for the trade.
By using this mechanical trading strategy, traders can establish a disciplined and systematic approach to their trading decisions. The predefined profit target and stop loss levels provide clear exit rules, helping to manage risk and potentially maximize returns. However, it is important to note that no trading strategy is guaranteed to be profitable, and careful analysis and monitoring of market conditions are always recommended.
VWAP Trendfollow Strategy [wbburgin]This is an experimental strategy that enters long when the instrument crosses over the upper standard deviation band of a VWAP and enters short when the instrument crosses below the bottom standard deviation band of the VWAP. I have added a trend filter as well, which stops entries that are opposite to the current trend of the VWAP. The trend filter will reduce total false breakouts, thus improving the % profitable while maintaining the overall returns of the strategy. Because this is a trend-following breakout strategy, the % profitable will typically be low but the average % return will be higher. As a rule, be sure to look at the average winning trade % compared to the average losing trade %, and compare that to the % profitable to judge the effectiveness of a strategy. Factor in fees and slippage as well. 
This strategy appears to work better with the lower timeframes, and I was impressed with its results. It also appears to work on a wide range of asset classes. There isn't a stop loss or take profit built-in (other than the reversal signals, which close the current trade), so I would encourage you to expand on the strategy based on your own trading parameters.
You can toggle off the bar colors and the trend filter if you so desire.
Future updates to this script (or ideas of improving on it) might include a take profit level set at one standard deviation past the current level and a stop loss level set at one standard deviation closer to the vwap from the current level - or applying a multiple to the two based off of your reward/risk ratio.
About the strategy results below: this is with commissions of 0.5 % per trade. 
Premium MTF Layered RSI - Bitcoin Bot [wbburgin]This the premium version of my MTF Layered RSI strategy, which improves significantly on the original strategy (publicly available on my profile). Improvements are below. This strategy will also appear as an overlay on your chart. It is completely non-repainting.
The MTF Layered RSI strategy uses the current timeframe and two configurable higher timeframes to enter a long position when Bitcoin is oversold on all three timeframes, and exit the long position when Bitcoin is overbought on the current timeframe. This hedges against situations where the RSI on higher timeframes never reaches the overbought level and we are left "holding the bag" so to speak with the classic "enter long at oversold and enter short at overbought" strategy.
  IMPORTANT: This strategy does not work on ranges. It will work on all timeframes and assets, but does not work on ranges (Renko blocks and some other advanced types of charts).

Improvements over the original MTF RSI strategy include:
 
 Filters for Uptrends and Downtrends  → The Premium RSI strategy will adjust its buy and sell thresholds depending on whether the instrument is trending. This means that, in uptrends, the Premium strategy will buy more frequently, bringing in potentially greater profit, and in downtrends, the strategy will stop buying altogether. These filters and dynamic buy/sell thresholds have made this strategy more profitable in my backtesting across random timeframes, but I cannot guarantee that the strategy will be profitable for you on the default settings. To that end, I have enabled a number of different configurations that you can change in the settings of the strategy.
 Stop Loss / Take Profit Calculation Per Tick  → Stop loss and take profit are now both enabled in the script and each has their own alerts. You can specify what type of stop loss or take profit you want: percentage or ATR. If you have alerts configured, you will be alerted mid-bar, instead of at close. This helps prevent loss from abrupt falls in price between closing price and next bar open.
 Customizable Alert Messages In-Strategy  → In the settings, there will be text boxes where you can create your own alerts. All you will need to do is create an alert in the alert panel on Tradingview and leave the message box blank - if you fill out the alert boxes in the settings, these will automatically populate into your alerts. There are in total eight different customizable alerts messages: Entry, Exit, Stop loss, and Take profit alerts for both Long and Short sides. If you disable stop loss and/or take profit, these alerts will also be disabled. Similarly, if you disable shorts, all short alerts will be disabled.

Configuring Stop Loss or Take Profit will make their corresponding displays appear. 
Separately from the trading boxes, background colors (green, red) signify extended uptrends and downtrends, respectively.
 Configuring Alerts 
In TradingView desktop, go to the ‘Alerts’ tab on the right panel. Click the “+” button to create a new alert. Select this strategy for the condition and one of the two options that includes alert() function calls. Name the alert what you wish and clear the default message, because your text in the settings will replace this message.
Now that the alert is configured, you can go to the settings of the strategy and fill in your chosen text for the specific alert condition. You will need to check “Long and Short” in the “Trade Direction” setting in order for any Short Alerts to become active. Similarly, you will need to check “Enable Stop Loss” for stop loss alerts to become active and “Enable Take Profit” for take profit alerts to become active.

Notes on the Strategy Performance below: This is 3% of equity per trade, with a pyramiding number of 3. I did not include fees because Binance US on Bitcoin/USD does not charge fees on the instrument; however, I heavily encourage you to include fees in your backtesting if you use a different brokerage.  To mitigate fees, this strategy is designed with a high average %/trade. If your current fees are greater than the strategy's average %/trade, I encourage you to choose a higher RSI period, such as 14 or 28, which will result in less trades but potentially a higher %/trade.

 Trading Strategy Test Results:  Time Frame Tested for 15 Mins 
To provide an idea of the potential performance of the Index Strength Strategy Indicator, let's look at some recent test results for two popular indices - Bank Nifty and Nifty 50.
From 1-May-2023 to 12-May-2023, using 2 lots of Bank Nifty with the Index Strength Strategy Indicator, a profit of 15,175 was achieved, with a percentage profitable trade rate of 80% and a profit factor of 3.395. The maximum drawdown was 7,000, and the average trade was 3,035.
During the same time period, using 1 lot of Nifty 50 with the Index Strength Strategy Indicator, a profit of 8,187 was achieved

It utilizes two powerful indicators: the Fractal Adaptive Moving Average (FRAMA) and the CPMA (Conceptive Price Moving Average), which is similar to the well-known Chande Momentum Oscillator (CMO) with Center of Gravity (COG) bands.
The FRAMA is a dynamic moving average that adapts to changing market conditions, providing traders with a more precise representation of price movements. The CMO is an oscillator that measures momentum in the market, helping traders identify potential entry and exit points. The COG bands are a technical indicator used to identify potential support and resistance levels in the market.
Custom functions are included in the script to calculate the FRAMA and CSM_CPMA indicators, with the FRAMA function calculating the value of the FRAMA indicator based on user-specified parameters of length and multiplier, while the CSM_CPMA function calculates the value of the CMO with COG bands indicator based on the user-specified parameters of length and various price types.
The script also includes trailing profit and stop loss functions, which while not meeting expectations, have been backtested with a success rate of over 90%, making the script a valuable tool for traders.
Overall, the script provides traders with a comprehensive technical analysis tool for analyzing cryptocurrency markets and making informed trading decisions. Traders can improve their success rate and overall profitability by using smaller targets with trailing profit and minimizing losses. LowFinder_PyraMider_V2This strategy is a result of an exploration to experiment with other ways to detect lows / dips in the price movement, to try out alternative ways to exit and stop positions and a dive into risk management. It uses a combination of different indicators to detect and filter the potential lows and opens multiple positions to spread the risk and opportunities for unrealized losses or profits. This script combines code developed by fellow Tradingview community_members.
 LowFinder 
The lows in the price movement are detected by the  Low finder script by RafaelZioni . It finds the potential lows based on the difference between RSI and EMA RSI. The MTF RSI formula is part of the  MTFindicators library developed by Peter_O  and is integrated in the Low finder code to give the option to use the RSI of higher timeframes. The sensitivity of the LowFinder is controlled by the MA length. When potential lows are detected, a Moving Average, a MTF Stochastic (based the the MTFindiicators by Peter_O) and the average price level filter out the weak lows. In the settings the minimal percentage needed for a low to be detected below the average price can be specified.
 Order Sizing and Pyramiding 
Pyramiding, or spreading multiple positions, is at the heart of this strategy and what makes it so powerful. The order size is calculated based on the max number of orders and portfolio percentage specified in the input settings. There are two order size modes. The ‘base’ mode uses the same base quantity for each order it opens, the ‘multiply’ mode multiplies the quantity with each order number. For example, when Long 3 is opened, the quantity is multiplied by 3. So, the more orders the bigger the consecutive order sizes. When using ‘multiply’ mode the sizes of the first orders are considerably lower to make up for the later bigger order sizes. There is an option to manually set a fixed order size but use this with caution as it bypasses all the risk calculations.
 Stop Level, Take Profit, Trailing Stop 
The one indicator that controls the exits is the Stop Level. When close crosses over the Stop Level, the complete position is closed and all orders are exited. The Stop Level is calculated based on the highest high given a specified candle lookback (settings). There is an option to deviate above this level with a specified percentage to tweak for better results. You can activate a Take Profit / Trailing Stop. When activated and close crosses the specified percentage, the Stop Level logic changes to a trailing stop to gain more profits. Another option is to use the percentage as a take profit, either when the stop level crosses over the take profit or close. With this option active, you can make this strategy more conservative. It is active by default.
And finally there is an option to Take Profit per open order. If hit, the separate orders close. In the current settings this option is not used as the percentage is 10%. 
 Stop Loss 
I published an earlier version of this script a couple of weeks ago, but it got hidden by the moderators. Looking back, it makes sense because I didn’t pay any attention to risk management and save order sizing. This resulted in unrealistic results. So, in this script update I added a Stop Loss option. There are two modes. The ‘average price’ mode calculates the stop loss level based on a given percentage below the average price of the total position. The ‘equity’ mode calculates the stop loss level based on a given percentage of your equity you want to lose. By default, the ‘equity’ mode is active. By tweaking the percentage of the portfolio size and the stop loss equity mode, you can achieve a quite low risk strategy set up.
 Variables in comments 
To sent alerts to my exchange I use a webhook server. This works with a sending the information in the form of a comment. To be able to send messages with different quantities, a variable is added to the comment. This makes it possible to open different positions on the exchange with increasing quantities. To test this the quantities are printed in the comment and the quantities are switched off in the style settings.
This code is a result of a study and not intended for use as a worked out and full functioning strategy. Use it at your own risk. To make the code understandable for users that are not so much introduced into pine script (like me), every step in the code is commented to explain what it does. Hopefully it helps.

Moving Average Trap Strategy by D. BrigagliaThis is a strategy that follows the 200 periods moving average and fades the cross of ma3, ma5 and ma8. It is designed for profiting by mean reversion while at the same time respecting long term trend. It is designed for long term trending markets such as stocks and stock indices.
In this backtest, the strategy shows the ability to beat the S&P500 index with an average slippage set to 2 ticks. The number of trades is good (350), the profit factor is acceptable (1.67). The drawdowns are also reduced compared to the underlying asset.

A unique method of constructing intermediate Take Profit Levels will allow you to select up to 5 intermediate Take Profit Levels and one intermediate Stop Loss.
Intermediate Take Profit Levels are perfectly calculated into 5 equal parts in the form of levels from the entry point to the final Take Profit target. 
All you need to do is to choose the necessary levels for fixing and how much you want to fix at each level as a percentage. For example, TP 3 will always be exactly between the entry point and the Take Profit target. And the value of TP 3 = 50 will close 50% of the amount of the remaining size of the position.
 Note:  all intermediate SL/TP are closed from the remaining position amount and not from the initial position size, as TV does by default.
 SL 0 Position  — works in the same way as TP 1-5 but it's Stop. With this parameter you can set the position where the intermediate stop will be set.
 Breakeven on TP  — When activated, it allows you to put the stop loss at Breakeven after the selected TP is reached. For this function to work as it should - you need to activate an intermediate Take. For example, if TP 3 is activated and Breakeven on TP = 3, then after the price reaches this level, the Stop loss will go to Breakeven.
    *  This function will not work with Dynamic Stoplosses, because it simply does not make sense.
 CoolDown # Bars  — When activated, allows you to add a delay before a new trade is opened. A new trade after CoolDown will not be opened until # bars pass and a new signal appears.

It took me about a month of slow work to build this system.

MTF Diagonally Layered RSI - 1 minute Bitcoin Bot [wbburgin]This is a NON-REPAINTING multi-timeframe RSI strategy (long-only) that enters a trade only when two higher timeframes are oversold. I wrote it on BTC/USD for 1min, but the logic should work on other assets as well. It is  diagonally layered  to be profitable for when the asset is in a downtrend.
Diagonal layering refers to entry and exit conditions spread across different timeframes. Normally, indicators can become unprofitable because in downtrends, the overbought zones of the current timeframe are not reached. Rather, the overbought zones of the  faster  timeframes are reached first, and then a selloff occurs. Diagonally-layered strategies mitigate this by selling diagonally, that is, selling once the faster timeframe reaches overbought and buying once the slower timeframe reaches oversold.
Thus this strategy is diagonally layered  down . I may create a separate script that alternates between diagonal-up and diagonal-down based off of overall trend, as in extended trend periods up this indicator may not flash as frequently. This can be visualized in a time series x timeframe chart as an "X" shape. Something to consider...
Let me know if you like this strategy. Feel free to alter the pyramiding entries, initial capital, and entry size, as well as commission regime. My strategies are designed to maximize average profit instead of flashing super frequently, as the fees will eat you up. Additionally, at the time of publication, all of my strategy scripts are intended to have profitable Sharpe and Sortino ratios.

Bitcoin 30m Swing Trader Long/Short StrategyIntro 
I want to share the results of my passionate hobby and the unstoppable chase for a profitable automated trading strategy. It has been created with the intention of trading only Bitcoin. Altcoins are not interesting for me, as I have discovered lots of issues with finding the right parameter values for experiencing a good performance. As altcoins typically follow the trend of bitcoin and characteristically have a high volatility that may cause stop-hunts, I decided to not over complicate this project. I was just aiming for a profitable trading strategy with an acceptable drawdown and enough confidence by a statistically significant number of trades beside a wide backtesting timespan (credits going out to TradingView: Deep Backtesting).
Total time spent on this is approximately 2 years.
 Indicators used 
 
  RSI: Used for entries and trend reversal spots
  MACD: Used for entry and exit optimiziation
  ATR: Used for dynamic offsets in trend definition indicator
  Custom trend indicator: Self-made indicator, based on simple price action of higher timeframes using pivot points to find support and resistance zones that have formerly been created
 
 Strategy parameters 
I have reduced the total parameters used to just a few. It took lots of working hours to find appropriate values along the trading algorithm and I don’t want to overcomplicate it to you.
This strategy is for those, who have been looking for a working strategy. No DIY kit. 
Feel free to adapt Take profit or stop loss targets. But it’s not recommended to do so.
 How it works 
 
 Entries:
I started with a kind of template that I have been using for strategies for a long time. This includes how to find the right Entries during a trend as well as spotting trend reverse opportunities. Here I combine simple indicators like RSI and MACD beside necessary trend conditions. If a target RSI Value is hit, it will enter a trade, after MACD histogram has stopped to fall/rise. Depends on long/short. While we are in a trade and trend reversed, it waits for a specific RSI target level to be hit, to reverse the trade. As simple as it is, it closes the open one and starts a trade in other direction.
 Micro trend:
It starts to get more interesting when it comes to trend recognition, as it forms the core of the strategy and discovering appropriate values for it has been very hard. The final trend variable is defined by the responses over higher timeframes of my self-made trend indicator. Executed on the current timeframe, the trend indicator is quite interesting. But for a automated trading strategy it is necessary to deviate trading instructions from higher timeframes trends.
 Macro trend:
The same process that happens for micro trend is also applied with much higher timeframes, like 3D or weekly. The basic assumption is, that if we are in a bull or bear run, where retail investors are flooding the markets, we are increasing our take profit targets respectively. This way we can catch bigger moves in bigger trends.
 Exits:
Closing a trade generally happens when a TP target (in %) is hit, or the SL (in %) is hit. The strategy has a special treatment with SL’s. After it happens, the strategy is more careful about market conditions and typically waits for a countertrade. The third way of closing a trade has already been mentioned: the reverse trades. They happen during choppy market conditions. The strategy has also special awareness here and tracks, if reverse trades start to happen more often. After a while, it starts to be more restrictive in opening new reverse trades.
 
 Performance 
 
 Capabilities and limitations:
As I have already mentioned the strategy is only optimized for bitcoin (Perpetual Futures). This does not mean, it can not be used on other markets, because the algorithm itself is universal appliable. A very hard task was about finding the right parameter values for the strategy performing like this. If you have a special wish to configure this strategy for a specific market, DM me. The strategy has been tested with different configurations on the following timeframes: 30, 15, 10, 5, 1. I have decided to publish the one for 30m TF, because its performance simply convinced me.
 Repainting:
It has been tested lots of times against repainting.
 Confidence:
The total backtesting performance reaches out to 2019-09-08. So the strategy has been managing to be successful since then, but this does not guarantee that the logic, this strategy follows, is going to continue this level in future. 
 Commission:
The algorithm is configured with 0.04% commission per trade, as it is on Binance (for Future Market orders). 
 Ordersize:
Its totally up to you, how much of your total equity should be traded. Nevertheless, I would personally recommend to not exceed 50% ordersize of your equity with this strategy. In the past, you would have had great performance beside a drawdown, that was from psychological point of view good to handle with. This strategy additionally uses STOP LOSSES, so you can never loose you whole ordersize at one trade.
 Slippage:
You also must consider about getting slipped when trading this strategy on live markets. Statistically one could assume, that the slippage could be neutral, as it can be both positive or negative. It depends on your execution time, the exchange, on which you are executing trades and market conditions. But keep it in mind, as if you have too much slippage, this strategy would be unprofitable.

Analyze the performance of the strategy by checking the TradingView strategy performance summary or by viewing individual trades in the "Trades" list.
