Following the previously published MACD-Total indicator, we are releasing the second indicator.

1. HA-P Indicator Description
2. Chart interpretation using HA-P indicators
3. More important than indicators is creating a trading strategy
(1. HA-P Indicator Description)
The Heikin Ashi candle chart is a very good way to see trends.
However, it is a pity that the actual price is not known on the chart made of Heikin Ashi candles.
To compensate for this, the body candle part (Open~Close) of the Heikin Ashi candle was filled with the background of the normal candle.
If you see more candles below the bottom of the body candle, you know the strength of the downtrend is high.
Conversely, if more candles are displayed above their body candles equivalent, you can tell that the bullish strength is high.
It can be seen that when the body candle color is displayed in blue, it is more likely to decline, and when it is in yellow, it is more likely to rise.
The Heikin Ashi candle is a trending candle.
Therefore, Heikin Ashi candles cannot be traded on their own.
To complement this, HA-Low and HA-High indicators were created.
The point where the HA-Low and HA-High indicators are leveled serves as support and resistance.
So, the longer the horizontal line, the stronger the support and resistance role.
A typical RSI is usually expressed as Close.
Since the Close of the Heikin Ashi candle is different from the normal Close, we made it to display when the RSI is oversold and overbought as the background of the price chart.
You cannot trade with the RSI indicator and the Heikin Ashi candle.
However, it can be used to detect a change in trend.
This gives you time to react to trend changes.
In order to trade, it is possible to find support and resistance at the HA-Low and HA-High indicators.
------------------------------------------------------------ ------
(2. Chart interpretation using HA-P indicator)
Let's interpret the BTCUSDT 1D chart using the HA-P indicator.
Primary resistance: around 21478.98
Secondary resistance: around 29380.57
It moved higher on the 4th of July, breaking out of the RSI oversold zone.
If it rises above the 19946.21 point and finds support, it is expected to lead to further upside.
However, it needs to rise above 21478.98 for support to lead to further upside.
---------------------------------
(3. More important than indicators is creating a trading strategy)
In order to trade using these indicators, you need to invest a lot of time and observe.
Whether you use an indicator or not, the most important thing in trading is whether you have many trading strategies.
No matter how good indicators and signals are, if you do not have a trading strategy, you will not be able to properly trade due to psychological pressure.
Therefore, it is most important to plan a trading strategy in advance before proceeding with a trade.
- How much money to invest
- How to set up a rough plan for buying in installments and selling in installments
- How to set the Stop Loss point
- How long will the investment be (short-term, medium-term, long-term, etc.)
Basically, the above thoughts must be concretely thought out before proceeding with the investment.
Otherwise, if you buy blindly when the price rises, there is a high possibility that you will end up incurring a loss due to psychological anxiety due to the volatility of the price.

PopGun Trading, PG Pattern DetectorPopGun Bar Pattern Strategy
PG Trading
The indicator does the following:
It detects the Outside Bar, the smaller inside Bar and the 3rd Pop Gun that is bigger, than the inside Bar.
When the Pop Gun was detected, the indicator will calculate 3 targets for long and short trades.
In our understanding, a Pop Gun is neutral. The next candles after the Pop Gun will decide if the PG breakout is bullish or bearish.
So if one of the next candles after the PG is breaking the high or low of the PG Candle, this is a breakout confirmation and can traded long or short.
We are using the PG Indicator for Stock, Futures and Index Trading.
The Script uses 3 targets per default, but you can extend the target dots up to 6.
If you want to see the targets in plain text, you can activate the PG Box.
The targets are calculated really easy: Just the height of the candle multiplied with 1, 2 and 3 (4,5 and 6 additionally). In some communities there is an ATR calculation for more extended targets but it seems, that the ATR Calculation will sometimes lead to unreachable targets if the ATR is really high intraday...
We trade PopGuns starting at M15 chart. I think PGs smaler than M15 are not worth a trade...
Maybe i will add the ATR Function in the future just to compare the 2 ways to calculate PG targets. We are really doing well with 1,2,3 targets based on the PG Candle size. (Low to High).
Please leave a comment if you have some feature requests or input to make this the best Pop Gun Indicator in Trading View ;-)
[FR]Custom Candles/FVG/nSideBarCustom Candles /FVG/ nSideBar
- I used this as a learning project for understanding plot()'s Better
- My goal was to see if I could use normal plots to cleanly plot FVGs on the chart using only plots with out and boxes/lines
The problem was if multiple FVGs were on back to back bars the plot fill would fill the line to the next FVG/Bar
I solved this by using 4 plots and alternating them if consecutive FVGs form
- 2 MODES
- Slim
- Normal
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
-Slim
Uses 3 plotcandle() parts and divides the candle between body/wicks/open and close
by manipulating the ohlc inputs and the colors I was able to pretty make them full customizable
all components are customizable with up/down colors
-Normal
These are your normal candles but they are full customize able from components to individual up/down colors
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- FVGs
There are 2 FVG settings can be used with both MODES
- Big
These are the FVGs that use plots and since there isn't a 500 object limit on plots you don't need to manage them in the code and they are there how ever far you need to look back
- Slim
These use a Line and the width of the line can be adjusted for user preferences
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- INSIDE-BARS
These will change the color of the body of either SLIM or NORMAL Candles
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drawing Snap Features Work Just Fine!
I suggest hiding your chart candles with the eye in the top left of the screen and moving the indicator to the top of your object tree
I understand that the candles in the chart pictures are impractical I was just demonstrating the functionality of the tool
Hope You Enjoy!!

(MACD-Price) Displaying MACD Indicators on Price Chartshello?
Although it is a simple indicator, I decided to disclose it because I thought it was a pretty useful (?) indicator.
** Others may have previously published indicators similar to this indicator.
** Please understand this.
** All charts or indicators disclosed are not guaranteed to result in profit or loss.
** Therefore, please use it as a reference for your own trading strategy.
(design purpose)
The MACD indicator is a secondary indicator and is located below the price chart.
Accordingly, it is not easy to check along with the price flow.
Therefore, the index has been reorganized to display important factors in interpreting the MACD index according to the price change.
(Metric Description)
- The center line of the EMA line corresponding to the MACD value and the signal value displayed in the MACD indicator is designed to receive the Close value or Open value among prices according to changes in the rise and fall.
- The color of the line displayed in the manner described above is designed to change color when the Histogram passes the zero point, so that you can check whether the current state is in an uptrend or a downtrend.
Uptrend: green
Downtrend: blue
(How to Interpret and Apply)
- Buy when the 'Buy / Sell line' of the MACD-P indicator is level and the color is green, and when it crosses the 'Buy / Sell line' upwards.
- Sell when the 'Buy / Sell line' of the MACD-P indicator is level and the color is blue, and when it crosses below the 'Buy / Sell line'.
Candle Colored by Volume Z-score [Morty]This indicator colors the candles according to the z-score of the trading volume. You can easily see the imbalance on the chart. You can use it at any timeframe.
In statistics, the standard score (Z-score) is the number of standard deviations by which the value of a raw score (i.e., an observed value or data point) is above or below the mean value of what is being observed or measured. Raw scores above the mean have positive standard scores, while those below the mean have negative standard scores.
This script uses trading volume as source of z-score by default.
Due to the lack of volume data for some index tickers, you can also choose candle body size as source of z-score.
features:
- custom source of z-score
- volume
- candle body size
- any of above two
- all of above two
- custom threshold of z-score
- custom color chemes
- custom chart type
- alerts
default color schemes:
- green -> excheme bullish imbalance
- blue -> large bullish imbalance
- red -> excheme bearish imbalance
- purple -> large bearish imbalance
- yellow -> low volume bars, indicates "balance", after which volatility usually increases and tends to continue the previous trend
Examples:
* Personally, I use dark theme and changed the candle colors to black/white for down/up.
Volume as Z-score source
Any as Z-score source, more imbalances are showed
Auto Fibonacci From Previous High & Low w/ Percentages & AlertsAUTO FIBONACCI FROM PREVIOUS D/W/M/Q/Y HIGH & LOW WITH PERCENTAGES & ALERTS

It includes alerts for each level as well if you want to be notified of price crossing fibonacci levels without watching the chart.
***HOW TO USE***
Fibonacci levels are also known as the golden ratio and are popular levels for traders to use as support and resistance levels. Expect price to bounce off of these levels regularly.
The previous high and low are marked as white lines. These are very important levels so make sure to pay attention when price reaches these lines.
Make sure to check out the higher timeframes for major levels.
Each fibonacci line retracement and extension up to the 3.272 level in each direction is displayed as red or green depending on whether price is above or below that level.
The retracement levels used are: previous high, .117, .236, .382, .5, .618, .786, .883, previous low, 1.272, 1.618, 2, 2.272, 2.618, 3 and 3.272.
The extension levels used are: .272, .618, 1, 1.272, 1.618, 2, 2.272, 2.618, 3 and 3.272.
In the indicator settings input tab you can quickly change the timeframe used, turn lines on/off, upper line colors, lower line colors, previous high and low line colors, line width, turn percentage table on/off, change the color of the percentage table and move the percentage table to a different location on the chart.
The indicator includes alerts for each fibonacci level as well, just set your fibonacci timeframe on your favorite ticker and turn on tradingview alerts for alert() calls.

Manual Harmonic Projections - With interactive inputsThis is another script involving interactive inputs. This is similar to Manual-Harmonic-Patterns-With-interactive-inputs . But, instead of taking XABCD and verifying if it confirms to any pattern, here we only take XABC and project all PRZs.
Example, upon adding the script to chart, it will prompt to select 4 points on chart by clicking on it. if we select X, A, B, C as shown in the chart below, we can see the projection of multiple PRZs. Mid of nearest PRZ is considered as D and rest of the pattern is drawn based on this. However, the pattern can have multiple PRZs. All overlapping PRZs are combined together and shown as one along with merged pattern labels. But, if there is gap between PRZs, they are shown separately.
If no projections found, then patterns and projections are not drawn. However, you can still see XABC lines on the chart.
ZigZag Chart with SupertrendHello All,
This script creates Zigzag Chart by using Zigzag waves, so it's timeless chart meaning that no time dependency on X-axis. Optionally it can calculate & show Zigzag Supertrend or Simple Moving Average. Also it can change bar colors of the main chart by trend direction of Zigzag Supertrend.
As seen below, each zigzag wave is a candle on Zigzag chart:
You have a few options and using these options you can find best settings for the securities/timeframes.
You can change Zigzag period, if you change Zigzag Period then all zigzag and the chart is recalculated/reconstructed.
You have option to show Zigzag Supertrend or Zigzag Moving Average, the options you have;
- You can change ATR Length and ATR multiplier for supertrend
- You can change Length for Simple Moving Average
You can change Zigzag candle & wick colors using options. Also you have option to change bar colors according to Zigzag Supertrend direction.
As it's timeless chart, below you can see how/when bar colors and Zigzag Supertrend change:

ATR Value on ChartHi Friends & TradingView community.
Greetings to you.
Many traders use ATR to set Stop loss.
The built in ATR indicator plots the ATR values as a line. However, many traders do not want the ATR to be plotted on their charts, but are only interested in the ATR value as such.
This script does that - it just prints the latest ATR with your set Multiplier value on the chart. I have used the built-in ATR indicator and made necessary additions to the code.
I hope this script proves useful to traders.
Queries / feedback welcome.
All the best.

Background
The Rainbow Charts indicator is a technical analysis tool that follows trend. It helps traders to visualize a full spectrum of trends in the market. Mel Widner developed the indicator and elaborated it in the 1997 issue of Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities magazine. It uses 10 simple moving averages and hence, it is a very interesting take on a simple moving average.
Function
The basis of the Rainbow Charts indicator are 10 moving averages. The first Rainbow Moving Average is a 2-period simple moving average. It applies recursive smoothing to this first SMA. The first moving average is the base of nine other simple Rainbow Moving Averages of different lengths. Each SMA bases on the previous SMA. The application of the recursive smoothing enables the indicator to create a full spectrum of the current trends in the market. As we know that the financial markets are full of wonders and surprises and we have an indicator that also surprises us. Yes, it is none other than the Rainbow Charts indicator that presents information on the charts in the form of a rainbow. That is the reason that it is known as the Rainbow Charts indicator.
The interpretation of the Rainbow Charts indicator is quite straightforward. The Rainbow Moving Average with the least recursive smoothing stays at the very top of the Rainbow during a bullish trend in the market. Conversely, the moving average with the most recursive smoothing stays at the bottom of the Rainbow.
On the other hand, the positions of the least and the most smoothed moving averages reverses during a bearish trend in the market. Now the least smoothed moving average stays at the bottom while the most smoothed moving average stays at the top of the Rainbow.
The Rainbow Charts indicator’s moving averages track the uptrend or downtrend in the market. The moving averages track the trend as it progresses and cross each other in a sequential order. The distancing of the price from the Rainbow indicates the continuation of the current market trend. Conversely, if the price moves closer to the Rainbow, it suggests that a potential trend reversal is imminent.
The use of the indicator is also quite simple. Traders should look for initiating a buy position as soon as a strong positive move starts. Similarly, they should look for opening a sell position at the very beginning of a strong negative trend. It is important to note that the angle of the moving averages helps to identify the strength of a trend. The steeper curve suggests a stronger trend and vice versa.
Traders can also use the tool in combination with other technical analysis tools as a trend-following indicator. Traders can enter a buy position when indicators suggest a strong bullish trend. They can initiate a sell position when indicators indicate a bearish trend. Technical analysts and experts always suggest to use the Rainbow Charts indicator in combination with other technical analysis tools for successful trading.
