Tandem EMA TrendsThis indicator helps to identify trends using 2 (tandem) EMAs: a fast EMA and a slow EMA. Set the lengths of the EMAs in the inputs (fast EMA should be a smaller number than the slow EMA).
The trend is bullish if the current value of the fast EMA > current value of the slow EMA AND the current value of the fast EMA > the prior bar's value of the fast EMA.
The trend is bearish if the current value of the fast EMA < current value of the slow EMA AND the current value of the fast EMA < the prior bar's value of the fast EMA.
The fast EMA is countertrend to the slow EMA if either of the following 2 conditions exist:
The current value of the fast EMA > current value of the slow EMA AND the current value of the fast EMA < the prior bar's value of the fast EMA (bullish countertrend).

Overview:
The IU EMA Channel Strategy is a simple yet effective trend-following strategy that uses two Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) based on the high and low prices. It provides clear entry and exit signals by identifying price crossovers relative to the EMAs while incorporating a built-in Risk-to-Reward Ratio (RTR) for effective risk management.
Inputs ( Settings ):
- RTR (Risk-to-Reward Ratio): Define the ratio for risk-to-reward (default = 2).
- EMA Length: Adjust the length of the EMA channels (default = 100).
How the Strategy Works
1. EMA Channels:
- High-based EMA: EMA calculated on the high price.
- Low-based EMA: EMA calculated on the low price.
The area between these two EMAs creates a "channel" that visually highlights potential support and resistance zones.
2. Entry Rules:
- Long Entry: When the price closes above the high-based EMA (crossover).
- Short Entry: When the price closes below the low-based EMA (crossunder).
These entries ensure trades are taken in the direction of momentum.
3. Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP):
- Stop Loss:
- For long positions, the SL is set at the previous bar's low.
- For short positions, the SL is set at the previous bar's high.
- Take Profit:
- TP is automatically calculated using the Risk-to-Reward Ratio (RTR) you define.
- Example: If RTR = 2, the TP will be 2x the risk distance.
4. Exit Rules:
- Positions are closed at either the stop loss or the take profit level.
- The strategy manages exits automatically to enforce disciplined risk management.
Visual Features

Adaptive 12/48 EMAThe Adaptive 12/48 EMA is a trend-following indicator that dynamically changes color based on price positioning relative to key exponential moving averages (EMAs).
EMA Calculation:
The script calculates three EMAs—9 EMA (white), 12 EMA (adaptive color), and 48 EMA (adaptive color).
Trend Confirmation:
The 12 EMA turns green when the price (open, close, and low) is fully above it, indicating bullish momentum. The 12 EMA turns red when the price is fully below it, signaling bearish conditions.
Long-Term Trend (48 EMA):
The 48 EMA turns purple when the 12 EMA is above it, confirming an uptrend. The 48 EMA turns pink when the 12 EMA is below it, confirming a downtrend. Both EMAs turn gray when there's no clear trend.
How to Benefit from It:
Trend Trading: Use green/red shifts in the 12 EMA to time entries in the direction of momentum.
Trend Strength Confirmation: The 48 EMA color change helps determine the longer-term trend direction.
Confluence with Other Indicators: Works well with volume indicators or RSI for confirmation before entering trades.

EMA SHIFT & PARALLEL [n_dot]BINANCE:ETHUSDT.P
This strategy was developed for CRYPTO FUTURES, (the settings for ETHUSDT.P) . I aimed for the strategy to function in a live environment, so I focused on making its operation realistic:
When determining the position, only 80% (adjustable) of the available cash is invested to reduce the risk of position liquidation.
I account for a 0.05% commission, typical on the futures market, for each entry and exit.
Concept:
I modified a simple, well-known method: the crossover of two exponential moving averages (FAST, SLOW) generates the entry and exit signals.
I enhanced the base idea as follows:
For the fast EMA, I incorporated a multiplier (offset) to filter out market noise and focus only on strong signals.
I use different EMAs for long and short entry points; both have their own FAST and SLOW EMAs and their own offset. For longs, the FAST EMA is adjusted downward (<1), while for shorts, it is adjusted upward (>1). Consequently, the signal is generated when the modified FAST EMA crosses the SLOW EMA.
Risk Management:
The position includes the following components:
Separate stop-losses for long and short positions.
Separate trailers for long and short positions.
The strategy operates so that the entry point is determined by the EMA crossover, while the exit is governed only by the Stop Loss or Trailer. Optionally, it can be set to close the position at the EMA recrossing ("Close at Signal").
Trailer Operation:
An entry percentage and offset are defined. The trailer activates when the price surpasses the entry price, calculated automatically by the system.
The trailer closes the position when the price drops by the offset percentage from the highest reached price.
Example for trailer:
Purchase Price = 100
Trailer Enter = 5% → Activation Price = 105 (triggers trailer if market price crosses it).
Trailer Offset = 2%
If the price rises to 110, the exit price becomes 107.8.
If the price goes to 120, the exit price becomes 117.6.
If the price falls below 117.6, the trailer closes the position.
Settings:
Source: Determines the market price reference.
End Close: Closes positions at the end of the simulation to avoid "shadow positions" and provide an objective result.
Lot proportional to free cash (%): Only a portion of free cash is invested to meet margin requirements.
Plot Short, Plot Long: Simplifies displayed information by toggling indicator lines on/off.
Long Position (toggleable):
EMA Fast ws: Window size for FAST EMA.
EMA Slow ws: Window size for SLOW EMA.
EMA Fast down shift: Adjustment factor for FAST EMA.
Stop Loss long (%): Percent drop to close the position.
Trailer enter (%): Percent above the purchase price to activate the trailer.
Trailer offset (%): Percent drop to close the position.
Short Position (toggleable):
EMA Fast ws: Window size for FAST EMA.
EMA Slow ws: Window size for SLOW EMA.
EMA Fast up shift: Adjustment factor for FAST EMA.
Stop Loss short (%): Percent rise to close the position.
Trailer enter (%): Percent below the purchase price to activate the trailer.
Trailer offset (%): Percent rise to close the position.
Operational Framework:
If in a long position and a short EMA crossover occurs, the strategy closes the long and opens a short (flip).
If in a short position and a long EMA crossover occurs, the strategy closes the short and opens a long (flip).
A position can close in three ways:

Trailer
Signal Recrossing
If none are active, the position remains open until the end of the simulation.
Observations:
Shifts significantly deviating from 1 increase overfitting risk. Recommended ranges: 0.96–0.99 (long) and 1.01–1.05 (short).
The strategy's advantage lies in risk management, crucial in leveraged futures markets. It operates with relatively low DrawDown.
Recommendations:
Bullish Market: Higher entry threshold (e.g., 6%) and larger offset (e.g., 3%).
Volatile/Sideways Market: Tighter parameters (e.g., 3%, 1%).
The method is stable, and minor parameter adjustments do not significantly impact results, helping assess overfitting: if small changes lead to drastic differences, the strategy is over-optimized.
EMA Settings: Adjust FAST and SLOW EMAs based on the asset's volatility and cyclicality.
On the crypto market, especially in the Futures market, short time periods (1–15 minutes) often show significant noise, making patterns/repetitions hard to identify. I recommend setting the interval to at least 1 hour.

Overview
The Triple EMA Crossover Strategy is a trend-following trading system that utilizes three Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) to identify potential entry and exit points in the market. This strategy is based on the principle that when shorter-term prices cross above longer-term prices, it can indicate a bullish trend, and conversely when they cross below, it can signal a bearish trend.
Components
Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs):
Short EMA: A fast-moving average that reacts quickly to price changes (commonly set to 9 periods).
Medium EMA: A medium-term average that smooths out price data and helps confirm trends (commonly set to 21 periods).
Long EMA: A slow-moving average that helps identify the overall trend direction (commonly set to 55 periods).
Trading Signals:
Buy Signal: A long entry is triggered when:
The Short EMA (9) crosses above the Medium EMA (21).
The Medium EMA (21) is above the Long EMA (55).
Sell Signal: A short entry is signaled when:
The Short EMA (9) crosses below the Medium EMA (21).
The Medium EMA (21) is below the Long EMA (55).
Stop Loss and Take Profit:

Advantages

Disadvantages
Lagging Indicator: Moving averages are lagging indicators, meaning signals may come later than the actual price movement, which can lead to missed opportunities.
Whipsaw Effect: In ranging markets, the strategy may produce false signals leading to potential losses.
EMA TrendThe purpose of this script is to identify price trends based on EMAs. The relative position of price to specific EMAs and the position of certain EMAs towards each other are used to determine the trend direction. The script is intended for investors as a tool to define a basis for further evaluation. I do not use the script as a signal generator and would not recommend doing so without the help of additional indicators.
How to work with the script
The major (or long term) trend direction is determined by the 144 EMA much in the same way as the 200 MA is used in other systems. If the price is above the 144 EMA we are in a long term uptrend, below we are in a long term downtrend. This is to be taken with a grain of salt though. The 144 EMA is considerably shorter than the 200 SMA and is more prone to the price fluctuating around it during periods without a strong long term trend. I recommend using this as a confirmation for the short term trend.
The short term trend is derived from the position and slope of the price, the 21 EMA and the 55 EMA. If the price is above the 21 EMA, the 21 above the 55 EMA, both EMAs are sloping upwards and the distance between the two is increasing, we are talking about an uptrend (and vice versa for a downtrend). This is visualized by the color of the fill between the 144 EMA and close price. Green for uptrend, red for downtrend and no color for an undetermined trend.
The EMAs used are: 21 , 34 , 55 , 89 , 144 , 233 . Most of the EMAs are at 50 transparency to appear less dominant. For orientation, the 144 EMA is bright green to indicate its general importance for the trend determination, and the 55 EMAs is not transparent mainly to be able to identify positioning when the EMAs are close together.
Base time frame EMA
The 144 EMA is plotted twice where one is fixed to the daily time frame (can be configured) to be able to have the 144 on different timeframes during analysis. I find this very useful to keep the focus on my main time frame while analyzing trend on lower or higher time frames. This can also be turned off.
Configurability
This script is less configurable than I generally like with my other scripts. The reason is that the title attribute of the plots is not dynamic, and I use the data window often to get exact values from the script to determine buy targets for pullbacks and other things. Hence, I prefer not to have random names (or no names) in there to save mental capacity. If this ever becomes available, I'll gladly add this to this script. Till then, I encourage you to take the script and adjust it to your own needs. It should be simple enough even if you are just starting out in pine.
EMA with time-interval dependant visiblity settingThis scrip exposes 4 Exponential Moving Average (EMA) indicators which their visibility can be set to a daily or weekly time-frame (aka intervals). Based on your current chart time-frame, the matching EMA indicators come on and off.
This helps to have meaningful EMAs relevant to your time internal.
In a traditional 10 EMA indicates a plotted indicator would bear a meaning of a 10 day EMA when in daily and 10 week EMA when in weekly chart which may or may not be useful as some who for example only require a 10 week EMA for thier analysis and wouldn't want to cloud a daily chart with an EMA which won't resemble a valuable output for this particular user.
With EMA+, you can choose to see the 10 week EMA only when your chart is in the weekly time interval, so when switched to a daily interval a 10x EMA is not shown anymore.
If you prefer to see a 10 week EMA and a 21 day EMA on the other hand, you will only have 1 EMA shown when in weekly mode which is a 10 week EMA and one EMA when in daily mode with is 21 day EMA.

This is a Trend based indicator with the option of using it as Exponential Moving Averages or Rsi Moving Averages.The RMA's are giving better signal than the Exponential Moving Averages. The script has the option to select either of them. Works on all time frames. The default options are working good on all time frames.

How It Works
The indicator uses three technical components with relaxed criteria to produce signals:
Money Flow Index (MFI) for Momentum Extremes:
The MFI, calculated over a 14-period length, measures buying and selling pressure using price and volume. A buy signal can trigger when MFI crosses above the oversold level (default: 30, widened from 20), indicating potential buying pressure, while a sell signal can occur when MFI crosses below the overbought level (default: 70, widened from 80), suggesting selling pressure.
Relative Strength Index (RSI) for Momentum Confirmation:
The RSI, calculated over a 14-period length, confirms momentum strength. Bullish momentum is confirmed when RSI is above a buy threshold (default: 45, relaxed from 50), and bearish momentum when below a sell threshold (default: 55, relaxed from 50), allowing more signals near neutral momentum levels.
Exponential Moving Average (EMA) for Trend Sensitivity:
The indicator uses a fast EMA (default: 9 periods) and a slow EMA (default: 21 periods) to detect trend direction and crossovers. Signals can trigger when the fast EMA crosses the slow EMA, or when the fast EMA is within a proximity threshold (default: 0.5%) of the slow EMA, capturing early trend changes and increasing signal frequency.
Signal Generation
Signals are generated using the previous bar’s values to prevent repainting, with widened criteria for more frequent triggers:
Buy Signal: Either the MFI crosses above the oversold level or the fast EMA crosses above the slow EMA, and either RSI confirms bullish momentum (above 45) or the EMAs are near a crossover (within 0.5%). Displayed as a green upward triangle below the bar.
Sell Signal: Either the MFI crosses below the overbought level or the fast EMA crosses below the slow EMA, and either RSI confirms bearish momentum (below 55) or the EMAs are near a crossover (within 0.5%). Displayed as a red downward triangle above the bar.

EMA CrossoversUseful for identifying and receiving alerts about uptrends and downtrends.
This script uses two Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) to find price uptrends and downtrends. An Exponential Moving Average (EMA) is a type of moving average that places a greater weight and significance on the most recent data points. The script produces uptrend and downtrend signals based on crossovers and divergences between the two EMAs, the user will be able to spot a trend change (when the EMAs crossover) and to determine the strength of the current trend (when the EMAs diverge). It is also posible to get alerts for uptrends and downtrends on the web and mobile app with sound and pop-ups as well as via email. The optimal time to enter and exit the market can be concluded from this trend changes.
The user can set their own EMAs, by default they are set to 21 and 55 periods for medium and long term respectively. When the medium term EMA crosses below the long term EMA the asset is in a downtrend and the price will decline, and when the medium term EMA crosses above the long term EMA the asset is in an uptrend and price will increase.
This scripts plots the following indicators and signals on the chart to help the user to identify trends:
1.- Medium and long term EMAs as lines overlaid on the price chart.
2.- Up green triangles above bars when the price is on an uptrend and down red triangles below bars when the price is on a downtrend.
3.- Arrows with text to indicate the start of an uptrend or downtrend.
The user can enable and disable the indicators and signals as well as set colors and shapes to their liking.
This script also lets the user create alerts for uptrends and downtrends. To create a new alert using this script follow this instructions:
1.- Once you added this script to your chart, go to the alerts panel (right on web or bottom tool bar on the mobile app) and add a new alert (alarm clock icon with a plus sign).
2.- A modal window will open. On the “Condition” dropdown menu select “EMA Crossovers”.
3.- On the next dropdown menu (right below the “Condition” one) you can select from two types of alerts “Uptrend started” and “Downtrend started”.
4.- Lastly you can set all the normal alert options and create the alert.
