Bitfinex Bitcoin BullishnessBased on contrary opinion in futures, I've adjusted this to Bitcoin, more thoroughly Bitfinex margin longs & shorts. Those unfamiliar with the concept, contrary opinion illustrates the psychological sentiment in the market by determining the degree of bullishness or bearishness among participants in the market. The principle holds that when the majority of people agree on anything, they are generally wrong, so following the principle you would analyse and look to take the other side of the trades. Consider this, once the market is extremely bullish, all bulls have already entered the market to an extent that one can't commit any more funds to the position. Even though Bitfinex margin positions are not like future trading, that every short must have someone taking the long side, one should understand that the majority of people do not make money on the market, so whenever this indicator goes too low or too high, one should look for a trend reversal. This indicator is in the range of 0 to 1 and the neutral position for a "healthy" market is 0.55ish. Some adjustments should probably be made according to the cryptocurrency markets and I might add this in the future updates, but as of now it's a good indicator for forecasts and to get a bigger picture on a timeframe of 1 DAY or longer charts. The base of the indicator is simple, amount of longs divided by the sum of shorts and longs. Also you can see, how only now, 10th of April, we are hitting new lows in the bearishness of the market.

15 Minute Bitcoin Indicator 1.0Indicator Description: This is a premium indicator that is intended for trading on the 15 minute time scale. This script uses ADX to judge the strength of trends. When a trend is confirmed by ADX, the indicator uses SRSI to find the optimal entry. The indicator works best on BITFINEX:BTCUSD . Instructions: Whenever there is a sell signal exit the current long and vice versa. If a close signal appears close the current position but do not open another trade in opposite direction. There is a indicator based stop loss system that is built into the signals, but no static stop loss based on % loss or pips moved in one direction. Available Settings : 1. Buying and Selling Thresholds: These are the values that are used with SRSI to determine entries. The default values were experimentally determined to be the most profitable. 2. Stacked Orders Allowed: This limits the amount of positions that can be entered in the same direction. This is useful for trading with leverage. This is defaulted to 2 because I limit myself to 2x leverage. Backtesting shows the more orders allowed, the more profitable, but also risk is increased. 3. ADX/DI Settings: These are settings the ADX smoothing and DI length. Backtesting: CLICK HERE This is a strategy that enters and exits positions on the exact same criteria as this indicator. For the simulation the capital was 10,000 dollars and it was allowed to go up to 2x leverage. Each trade used 100% of available funds. The same simulation done from 1/1/2018 to 4/10/2018 resulted in: 3658.38 % Net Profit 316 Total Closed Trades 77.22 % Profitable 4.552 Profit Factor 24 % Max Drawdown +11.58% Average Trade 20 15m candles in each trade on average. Future Plans: More robust stop loss system. Factoring trend into trading signals. EMA integration. MULTI-TIMEFRAME SUPPORT Availability This indicator is currently in a testing stage of development with a full release planned for mid April. While the indicator is not completed, it currently is profitable for me to consider it ready for release. During this testing phase anyone can test it for free for three days, just comment below. BTCUSD Combined VolumeThis script sums the volume for BTCUSD across several popular exchanges. I share it not so much as an indicator as a tool to use in other indicators (i.e. those that rely on volume, which often do not work very well for crypto due to the low volumes). Similar sums could easily be created for other currency, and with a little thought I could probably add the ability to parameterize the currency (e.g. type "BTCUSD" or "ETHBTC" or "LTCUSD" or whatever as an input). I got the idea from seeing someone asking in chat whether it is possible to combine volumes across multiple exchanges, so kudos to oh92 and paaax for the neat idea. Spreads + MA + Bollinger BandsCryptocurrency adoption is on a constant upward trajectory. The interest for trading 'crypto assets' could not stay anywhere behind. The amateur nature of the market together with huge 'price inefficiencies' is always giving rise to excellent arbitrage opportunities throughout the globe. This code aims to help traders to make money placing safe and profitable trades which will eventually help the community to move towards more efficient price discovery. The script combines up to three assets to be monitored at the same time. It also allows the trader to plot Simple or Exponential Moving Averages and Bollinger Bands (BB) for each asset he wants to trade. Instructions: * International/local -- it allows the trader to switch between international spreads and local (currency) spreads, considering the market he is targeting. The default value is international. Unchecking the field will set the script for local trades. * Fees -- enables one to add his effective operational cost directly on the chart. This feature might be potentially relevant for traders who engage with fast-moving markets which demands action to be taken right away. The logic for calculations when fees are in place is the following (fee ≠ 0): if (spread > 0), then (spread - fee). If (spread < 0), then (spread + fee). When the spread is too short, the code may plot somewhat weird charts. In this case, it might be interesting to keep fee = 0. * Standard/ Absolute BB -- it changes from standard Bollinger Bands (default value) to absolute Bollinger Bands. The standard version calculates the bands over the moving average. The absolute version calculates each band in isolation taking absolute values as arguments. Play with the two options (and deviation) to see which is better regarding your market and the instrument of your choice. Uncheck the field to get the absolute version. Feedback on this point is particularly appreciated. * Expon. Ma -- it switches everything from Simple Moving Averages (SMA) to Exponential Moving Averages (EMA). Default value: SMA.
