This is an experimental backtest strategy for the original DepthHouse BTC Momentum Oscillator The idea of this is to aid traders in finding the best indicators settings to match their trading style. ---BTC MO SIgnals--- Signal Line: Generally, if the Signal Line is greater than 0, then there is more bullish momentum in the market Tops & Bottoms: Signals used to help spot where BTC 0.96% momentum may have topped or bottomed out Possible Divergences: Used to help spot possible reversals on continuous trends ---oh92's Preset Setting--- Scalper: (20,11,17,6) Very reactive settings that I use while day trading. However, faster settings generally increase the chance of false signals(20,11,17,6) Swing Trader: (5,25,55,10) Greatly reduces noise for my longer time trades. Generally makes 'tops' and 'bottoms' more accurate. Simple profitable trading strategyThis strategy has three components. Philakones EMAs are a sequence of five fibonacci EMAs. They range from 55 candles (green) to 8 candles (red) in length. A strong trend or breakout is marked by the emas appearing in sequence of their length from 8 to 55 or vice versa. These EMAs are also used to signal an exit. Only two EMAs are used for exit signals - when the 13 EMA crosses over/under the 55 EMA. RSI gives a bullish signal when 40 > rsi > 70. Exit signals are oversold (30) or overbought (70) Stochastics give a bullish signal when stoch < 80 and an exit signal when > 95. Results include 3 ticks of slippage and taker fees of .002. Provides a pretty smooth equity curve with a 73% win rate and beats buy and hold by than 10x (returns about 60x overall) since start of 2017.

TDI Pro's Analytic Tool by YardleyRosette This tool simplifies the general rules of a strategy based on Traders Dynamic Index to my best ability. The trader must only enter at the most reasonable place, such as when the signal says to buy or sell but it really means a retracement has formed in the view of the trader, for entry into opposite direction. Long Term Swing Position Indicator Alpha VersionThis is a early version of a swing trading indicator I have been working on. It uses EMAs and ADX to find entries. This will eventually be integrated into my main trading indicator. The strategy is defaulted to start with 17,000 capital and trade with 100 percent of equity. You can test different ranges of dates by going into the settings and changing the end dates of the backtest. It is defaulted to test from 1/1/2018 to the current time. Keep in mind if you keep it set to use 100% equity it will not be able to enter positions if the initial capital is less than the price of 1 bitcoin -3.31% at the beginning of the test range. It currently has a pretty low success rate, but the average winning trade is significantly larger than the average losing trade so it still makes a significant profit. This has only been tested so far on the 15 minute and 30 minute charts for Bitfinex:BTCUSD. The end goal for this indicator is to allow me to enter long term future positions to hold while I trade swaps on the short and medium term. This will allow me to increase profits. This strategy will be changing significantly in the future as I test various ideas and setting configurations to maximize the effectiveness, but feel free to use it however you want. My main indicator is currently in beta and will be finished before this one is completed, so if you want a solid indicator to trade with in the immediate future, I suggest checking that one out at Please comment or direct message me if you have any questions of critiques, I will always respond within 24 hours. Crypto Wave Rider Indicator - Bitcoin & Crypto SignalerAfter months of research and testing, I have developed the first public beta of my Crypto trading script. Note the following: 1.) This algo works best with /USD pairings (e.g. ETH/USD). Doesn't work as well with /BTC pairings (e.g. ETH/BTC). I believe this is because USD is stable and allows for better data (rather than comparing two very volatile assets to each other). 2.) This algo works best on swing trading time frames (4 hour - 12 hour) but can also be used on lower time frames (although lower than 1 hr is not recommended). For reference, I've found the best time frames to be as follows: BTC - 6 hour, LTC - 4 hour, ETH - 12 hr So far, the results have been far better than the other bots/indicators I've come across. This indicator has been optimized for use on Bitcoin with 6 hour candles just because Bitcoin is the oldest crypto & has the most backtesting data available. And 6 hour time frame because I prefer swing trading over day trading. Feel free to test on different time frames and coins to see what gets the best results.
