Hancock - Filtered Volume OBV OSC [Alerts]

Bitcoin / U.S. dollarBitstamp

Açıklama

This is an alert version of the strategy found here

This doesn't have the trailing stop or stop loss risk management included, i'll work on a release that has risk management included as best i can with alerts. Make sure to set a stop loss with your alert command.

Happy trading

Sürüm Notları

Added functionality to specify moving average type for the calculation of OBV oscillator.

General refactoring and optimizations to leverage positions section, mostly so I can calculate stop loss and trailing take for alerts on this strategy.

Added stop loss and trailing take profit alerts as best i can with tradingview.

IMPORTANT: As it stands, the above alerts will be triggered on the close of a candle which could result in a close WELL past the stop loss or trailing take profit level. Please, ensure you have an additional stop loss set in the command for the alert to prevent unexpected losses!

@dpanday, Alert version with stop losses is a pain as the alert is always generated way past the price but i can do my best! I'll attempt that tomorrow. Today was bug fixes and optimizations!

@dpanday, Updated script with stop loss and trailing take profit. Please note the comment i've made in the release notes about this if you are going to use alerts from this study. Thanks :)

Processing script...
line 57: Shadowing built-in variable 'obv'
line 61: The function 'change' should be called on each calculation for consistency. It is recommended to extract the call from this scope.

Congratulation, very nice work and coding. I´m testing and fine tune on smaller time frames.
I will post some real life trading results soon.

Hi. Thank you for your work. Very impressive result. Could you help me to understand the alerts a bit better? For that I made the lines a bit thinner and the alerts bigger. Green is enter a long, Blue exit a long, Red enter a short and orange exit a short. But it seems that there are often alerts that are not necessary, for example exiting a a short without entering a short before. I marked some examples with a red arrow. Could you help me to understand it a bit better. And do you know if it repaints? Again, thank you for your work!

Those are some really impressive results. I just finished making a double variable supertrend strategy that's showing 52.46% profitable trades with a factor of 3.104, but the net profit is less than half of what this one is showing.
Great job man
