Dynamic Pivots • Fib Box
This indicator detects dynamic pivots (new high/low within the selected lookback) and builds a Fibonacci Retracement Box (entry zone) plus Fibonacci Extension targets (TP1/TP2/TP3). Only one setup per direction is kept. While the zone is untouched, it tracks as a candidate; on the first wick touch it becomes active. A Minimum Entry→TP1 distance (%) filters out cramped, low-quality setups. Price labels are shown only for the newest visible box and are auto-cleared when that box disappears.

Key Inputs

Pivot Length – lookback bars to define pivot highs/lows.

Entry Levels (0–1) – Fibonacci retracements of the impulse (not percentages).

Take Profit (Extensions) – Fibonacci extensions for TP1/TP2/TP3.

Min Entry→TP1 Distance (%) – ensures TP1 isn’t too close.

Box Width (x10 bars) – horizontal extent of the zone.

Touch Tolerance (ticks) – buffer for touches/breaks (wicks/spread).

Price Text – show labels for the current box.

Logic & Visuals

Candidate turns direction-colored on activation; TP lines highlight on hit.

Untouched boxes expire after 200 bars.

Visualization/planning tool only — not a trading system; works on any symbol/timeframe.

Update:
Bug fixes & polish for the Fib Box + TP1/2/3 indicator

Correct TP1 math (0.5 ± offset):
TP levels are now measured as offsets from the 0.5 Fibonacci level of the last swing range (not as raw percentages of price).

Long: TP = 0.5 + X of the range

Short: TP = 0.5 − X of the range

Minimum-distance filter fixed:
The “Min distance Entry → TP1 (%)” filter now checks the correct side:

Long: from box top → TP1

Short: from box bottom → TP1.

Direction mapping clarified:
Pivot High ⇒ Long box, Pivot Low ⇒ Short box.

Visuals improved:

Pre-touch candidate boxes: Long = blue, Short = purple (high transparency).

On first touch: box turns red.

After a TP is hit: color reflects result (green for Long, red for Short) and is kept in history.

TP lines adopt the same success colors on hit.

Labels:
Each box is labeled with “Long” or “Short” in white text for quick scanning.

These changes make TP placement consistent with fib conventions, ensure the distance filter behaves as intended, and improve visual clarity.
