Auto Wick Zones - Advanced (Fixed)
Traders often use supply/ resistance and demand/ support areas where price has shown a sharp rejection previously, signalling that large orders resided there in the past and they may still reside there in the future. This script automatically identifies and draws “wick-match” support and resistance zones on your chart so you can:
Spot key price levels faster
Avoid redrawing zones after each breakout or retracement
Visualize which zones are still active vs. those that have been broken
Automatically see higher timeframe zones on your chart when they are confirmed
Automatically see higher timeframe zones get deleted when they have been broken
Not have to wait till the end of a trend for zones to appear (no repainting)
How zones are constructed:
Supply- top of zone = the higher of the two bars’ highs; base = close₂.
Demand- base = close₂; bottom = the lower of the two bars’ lows.
Settings:
Always set anchor timeframe to the timeframe your looking at or no zones will appear
Cancel zone if 3rd candle closes inside: If ticked, drawn zone will immediately delete if the next candle has closed inside the freshly drawn zone- filtering out 'weak' zones
Zone “break” detection- If price closes beyond a zone (above a supply zone or below a demand zone), that box is recoloured and a “Bear Break” or “Bull Break” label appears (disable labels in the settings to keep chart cleaner). Broken zones are only shown on the anchor timeframe (the timeframe your looking at), when higher timeframe zones are broken they are simply deleted and will not show on your screen
Delete ('no shadow') for zones beyond 'N' - if you want to see all active zones on the anchor timeframe untick, otherwise keep ticked
Body tolerance (%)- raising the body tolerance will mean more zones appear but they will be less precise levels (suggested 0.01- 0.09)
How to use in your trading:
Break and retest, breakouts, zone rejection, multiple zones confirmations etc.
