The price limit system in China’s stock market is a regulatory measure implemented by the Chinese securities authorities to curb excessive speculation. It refers to the maximum allowable daily price fluctuation of a stock, which cannot exceed a certain percentage of the previous trading day's closing price. For regular stocks, the daily price movement limit is 10%. For stocks under special treatment (ST stocks), the maximum daily price movement is restricted to 5%. There is no price limit on the listing day of newly issued stocks or stocks undergoing a rights issue. This indicator highlights the K-lines (candlesticks) of stocks that have hit the upper or lower price limits with different background colors and lists the recent number of instances of limit-up and limit-down occurrences in a table format.
