After the $1.7B Amazon deal collapsed, iRobot promoted its “iRobot Elevate” restructuring plan, assuring investors of financial stability and a return to profitability. However, the company’s margins and revenue plummeted, internal losses surged, and management withheld critical financial risks.

On March 12, 2025, iRobot disclosed a $172M revenue shortfall and issued a “going concern” warning, causing IRBT to plunge 51.6%.
