The court has set a deadline for claims in the $17.05M Tivity Health settlement. Investors have until October 20, 2025 to submit their claims and receive payment.

What is this settlement?

In 2018, Tivity acquired Nutrisystem, promoting the deal as a strategic move to create a combined fitness and nutrition platform. Despite internal data showing declining demand and marketing failures, executives assured investors that the business was performing well.

On February 19, 2020, Tivity disclosed a $377 million impairment tied to Nutrisystem, and $TVTY fell 45.49%.

Following this, investors sued the company for making misleading statements about the acquisition, and Tivity has now agreed to settle the case by paying $17.05 million to investors.
