If you place a BUY stop order, in order for it to be triggered, the current price would have to continue to rise.
If you place a SELL stop order, in order for it to be triggered, the current price would have to continue to fall.
If you place a SELL stop order, in order for it to be triggered, the current price would have to continue to fall.
