Gold's unusual formation currently is bearish due to the lower highs and and lower lows and I believe a short can be executed until 1401 where it intersects with the trendline as well as the .382 fib retracement level. This analysis is purely technical.

Ultimately the decision of whether Donald Trump will continue to hold his position of the United States of America is up to congress which is currently a Republican majority. 20 Republican representatives need to vote as well as all the Democrat representatives for Trump's impeachment which is highly unlikely. My prediction is that Trump will remain in Office all the while pushing DXY up causing XAUUSD to fall.
