Gold record highs or short opportunity?

Gold is about to test an extremely strong level at 1795, looking at the weekly chart there has been strong rejection from this price in the past... will it drop again or keep on climbing to a record high?
If the price fails to break the level I will be looking to sell.
Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated
