System is designed to cash settle future contracts, therefore,(paper) price will be a function of accounts/balance sheets of opposing bids and not the fundamentals (While Metal physical depository is decreasing, google : Metal physical statistic and see for yourself ). So price doesn't reflect the fundamentals of underlying assets until it does. Cheers
