Expecting downside for the SP, we should see a spike in the VIX. This is further supported by a change of trend in the MACD and built up of momentum when observing stochastics.

Exited my trade on a 1k loss. Got squeezed to my stop-loss. Bad trade in my opinion despite the basis being reasonable. Expect higher VIX in the upcoming month.
