AMD held the breakout retest on the daily chart beautifully, which provided an excellent entry before it continued to move higher.

AMD reached weekly supply over $185 before reversing with SMH weakness. There were large numbers of SMH $265 puts that came through on Monday just before the sell-off, which gave clues to the incoming reversal. I always use break-even on the balance of my runners with all trades to protect against giving back gains, and started shorting TSLA, AMD, and other technology names when they took out previous day's lows.
