Beating SOL buy-and-hold with Wick Catcher

Another example of the power of the wick catcher on the daily TF. These settings are adjusted to suit the most extreme risk and reward for a very popular coin. (see the graph in the strategy tester to see this bot outperform buy and hold in 2021)
Settings adjusted for maximum risk/reward (see drawdown). Removed TP1 and TP2, only TP3 is kept active. TP3 is set on trailing take profit and dynamic stop loss following function from bar to bar. Extremely aggressive entries. You'll notice that a good portion of trades are closed after one day. This is due to the extremely aggressive entires and exits. Changing trailing TP to higher levels trails TP for longer periods of time.

These same settings apply to 152/255 cryptocurrencies listed on Binance. This bot is not overfitted for SOL in this case, these are general settings that apply to most alts.

Look at trade on 14th of January to the end of January. You'll see the trade was flat until end of month burst, catching the wick. Also, for those wondering, dynamic stop loss had a 40X effect on profit; trailing TP had a 20X effect on profit.

For the curious, if shorts were added, it would ramp up total returns by about 100%. This would push the total profits up to about 30K%. However, shorts are bursts, and don't model well on daily. Shorts work best on H1 and H2. A shorting bot using this same wick catching algo will be demonstrated shortly on lower TF.

And lastly, this bot requires very particular working conditions. The stats and the signal only apply to the specific trading pair on a specific exchange. Signals cannot be cross substituted with USD vs USDT pairs or exchanges swapped due to wick variations between exchanges and trading pairs.
