The YAY tracking system aims to identify the peak and dip points of trends by using arcs instead of traditional lines. This method seeks to bring an unconventional perspective to trend tracking systems. I wanted to share how I prepare these charts. If you ask why I am doing this, it's because perhaps we can all gain from a different perspective. This is not investment advice; it's an effort to find graphical patterns.
For the cover, I included this theme and text because I thought the historical background of the use of bows was inspiring in terms of goal-oriented focus. On the right side, there are trend trial results from historical data using this method. Initially, I determine the dip and peak levels from the weekly data. As can be seen, while one side of the bows rests on support points according to past data, the extended arm into the future generally has not fully formed supports yet, only shaped by the ongoing slope. By observing the movements over shorter periods, I will try to interpret and apply the product's reactions back into the system.
