I entered into a long on
PDD at $97.50 and am moving my stop loss up to $97.5 from $95. Either PDD breaks $100 and we reach downtrend resistance around $106-$108, or it gets rejected here and goes down further. I'm positioning myself in case this happens, potentially losing current profit but leaving the trade open for an additional 7-9%.

Higher low and new high on the hourly, breaking 1hr and 4hr resistance. Confirm reversal with break of $102. Next resistance would be at $107-$108 with daily resistance at $118Not
Also, second positive Heikin Ashi on the 4hr which has always been a been a reversal sign for me and safer entry spot. Less of a falling knife to catch here, more of a reversal sign. Great place to buy in if you haven't already. Not
Bullish engulfing on the weekly. Not
These charts are so simple, and the setup is so good. Higher high in October and a potentially high lower if we break $102, which would validate this reversal, break of the trend down and Temu’s rapid growth and focus on first-party data seem tied to the upcoming phase-out of third-party cookies in 2024. With heavy ad spending, they’re building a global user base to gather data that will be gold for advertisers struggling to target consumers in a cookie-less world.
Despite forced labor and scam accusations, they’re simply playing the same data game Google and Facebook have been in for years, but because it’s a Chinese company, the criticism is louder.
The low prices are simple economics. Production costs in Asia are lower, the initially took large losses to bring on users at ridiculously low prices, and now prices are slightly higher and profitable for Temu. We’ve been buying drop-shipped goods from China forever without blinking. Or buying from Asia and drop shipping through Amazon. Temu is just scaling it differently and offering shipping from warehouses in the US.
Temu could end up owning a huge chunk of the world’s first-party data, and that’s going to change the digital landscape in ways we haven’t seen yet.
They are not a company I support fundamentally, but to me they are no different than Facebook or Google.
