Always pluck the lower hanging fruits first !

This is a saying in sales - always pluck the lower hanging fruits first. That means, to go after friends, family members, your network or warm leads before you move to the next circle of cold leads.
Is it always true ? It depends, some sales professional are really good with cold leads like canvassing on the streets, making friends or contacts in networking session or through cold calling and turning them into clients. Others are better off targeting their warm leads.
In trading, imo, I believe the lower hanging fruits provide a good foundation to accumulate your profits and when you spot it, you must not waste this opportunity.
So here, I show you two charts - Microsoft and the Nasdaq index. At time of writing, the index is already down around 7585 level (the black horizontal dotted line). It is highly tonight or this week that it will close up the gap below.
If this hypothesis is true, then Microsoft , the largest component of the index should follow suit. That gives you the green light to short the counter.
Now, I have bee asked whether to buy or sell a share better or buy the index better ? My answer is it depends.
Depends on what ? if you buy the shares of ABC company, you believe in its future potential and the share price will rise over time or it generates good dividends for you. In an index, there are many companies and it is the collective efforts of these shares along with other macroeconomic factors that decides its rise or fall. You can say one is the forest(index) and the other is the tree (ABC company shares).
So, I will not short Microsoft as I would like to own this company and thus will be waiting for it to drop some more before picking some up.

Those who shorted Microsoft last night should made 3.13% profits - congrats to you guys !I took a short and fast trade and really blessed to make about US$500 + profits. Thank you God.
You can see we are about 1 candle away from closing the gap. This should be completed tonight .
