Little does it matter. Long term policies of USA won't change whoever wins meanwhile markets will continue to do their own thing.
There has been accumulation happening for last 2 months which should see HSI rally towards 26k post elections with Ant's ipo carrying it higher still from there.
Euphoria won't last for very Long as the market movers will use these 2 events to distribute whatever is left from 2 years of distribution. 2021 may see the bubble burst and all hell breaks loose but we will worry about that when the time comes.
Friday's afternoon selloff was a shakeout below which SL can be placed.

It's as if everyone's on the Ant's horse and no one is really concerned about what happens with the elections. No complaints from me. Keep going.

Early news is that IPO will be delayed for at least few months and will be revalued. Looks like Ma's speech ruffled some feathers. In China, you are never big enough to criticize CCP. All those billions need to be refunded now. Not sure, how this will impact HSI. Expected rally had a lot to do with the Ant's ipo. May be take some profit and breakeven the rest.

If you are my regular reader, you will remember that i was of a view during the selloff towards 22900 that there will be another climax leg down with high volume which did not happen. Also during the move back up, i said that it does not feel like a mark up and even went short several times but market kept going up.
Was it that the block orders were sell orders. Market makers held the market, distributed during the ant's hype and now trapping here before a big selloff?

If this is not a Trap and a real mark up then it is at the start of the quickest phase of the move and should continue to go up without major pullbacks.Not
