Possible sell for the Dollar index

This prediction is purely technical , and will definitely be affected by the news related to the US economy . A negative performance for the US in the two coming weeks will confirm the prediction . A positive performance for the US will prove the prediction to be incorrect . The pattern I have used is the rising wedge , which is a confirmation for a bearish setup .
I do not trade the Dollar index , but I just use it for confirmation when trading Gold . They ususally tend to oppose each other , which means I am looking forward to Long the XAUUSD .
