One last comment on this chart: the solid red line you see going through the middle of it is most likely going to be the most significant barrier prior to hitting 9-10k. The push past that resistance line is going to have to come with a significant increase in volume and the bulls will have to really pile in en masse. The end result is likely to be a a very quick move from 7k to 8k. Even if my chart doesn't convince you that the bear market is over, you might want to hedge your bets buy placing a buy order right above the red line.
