btc long term uptrend

31 Ara 2016i trade btc long term with 5x leverage. trades are on a weekly basis.

strategy - trend following with 3 entry signals and 1 exit signal.

i had first entry at $647, the next couple weeks confirmed the trend and two more positions were added.

This strategy worked extremely well for me - profit factor of 19.4, meaning i win 19x more than i lose. it's just difficult to keep the trade so long, but as long as it works, it's good for me.

btc had a pretty bad day. this was due to China government actions. CNY is weakening against USD, therefore government decided to take action - ordered banks to sell foreign currency reserves so that people in China could not exchange CNY to foreign currencies and in this way to stop CNY depreciation. This activity resulted in +1% CNY appreciation against USD in single day. we see it had large impact to btc as well. further, we need to monitor spreads for btc prices in China and the West. previously it used to converge relatively fast as arbitrageurs move prices to parity. let's see how it changes. our trade stop is at 740 USD for btc. in trend following this is part of strategy - to give up large part of gains. hold tight!
