is the time right for a long term investment in bitcoin?

If its going to recover and establish itself as, what i would consider a replacement for the current monetary systems we use around the world... then this would time to invest!
manage your money how you see fit but either way this should be a nice buy opportunity back into previous levels of resistance at very least! :D
