If price holds above this wedge it will signal a major break out of the medium term trend and give some serious technical strength for breaking out of the long-term bearish trend.

As for the political side of things, it looks like the Democrats have a chance of winning the Senate. If they can keep the Republican senator votes below 50% in Georgia and North Carolina then it will go to a run-off in January along with a second run-off contest for another senate seat in Georgia. If the Democrats win all three seats they will control the Senate, the Oval Office, and the House, allowing them to pass all the decriminalization legislation and avoid decriminalizing it with executive powers via the FDA (which would be a nightmare for the entire industry). Also from what I read there are 110,000 ballots left and the Democratic candidate in North Carolina needs 77,000 more votes to catch up to tie (70%), then needs 50.1% more of the remaining votes.
