With Feds looking out to increase rates in locksteps fashion (eerily similar to 2018), is putting pressure on high growth stocks and
AMD (infact all semiconductor stocks like
NVDA,
QCOM) is right in the cross-hairs. In addition to rising inflation (which I do feel it may lower due to falling freight cost and maybe raw materials costs falls easing inflation), investors are rotating out of tech into safety stocks. Looks bearish short term. But just like 2018, once Fed concerns abated, semiconductors roared back so if you investors are willing to ride out the pain, could be a "Hold".
AMD is my largest position over 20% weightage (~90 shares) and I am debating to sell some to bring this to around 10%-15% over next few days.
